If you're not familiar with 416 Barrett, there were a lot of brass and chamber issues and unless they fixed these issues, forget about trying to reload for it.
I just look at their MSRP, so we are looking at 10K on this big boy. This ELR is almost the same range and features as DT HTI. HTI is couple grand cheaper and they shoot great as well and 408Cheytac ammo is available, not like 416Barrett, that ammo is hard to find. Hopefully someone make comparison soon.
I remember seeing the .416 Barrett cartridge on FutireWeapons many years ago. I haven’t seen or heard anything about it since then. I assumed it wasn’t really being produced or developed anymore. Always seemed like quite an interesting and capable cartridge to me.
