Oh damn, that makes so much sense. Every time a toxic person has hurt me they've immediately tried to guilt trip me into accepting it. None of the decent people in my life have ever asked or even accepted a hint of sympathy from me.
Sometimes I still find myself feeling bad, considering the possibility that my ex-girlfriend was a sociopath. Especially since she's done very little that was actively malicious against me. And most people paint their ex as a psycho. It was mostly a lack of meaningful contact that's made me suspicious - apathy, or apparently so. But one time I couldn't reach her about something she said she'd help me with, that was really important and time sensitive, I left an angry message on her voicemail and she immediately called me back crying saying that she had to go to the hospital and she was so sure she was going to die. So I gave her some space, didn't call for two weeks, when I finally did and finally got through to her I said "You haven't talked to me in two weeks are you okay." And in the most dead-weight, dryly annoyed tone she goes "Of course I'm fine, why wouldn't I be."

We lifted the coup out to try and find the nuts we'd just seen run under it, and before we really know where happening, mouse mom darts out, leaving her newborn mice... still blind, still hairless, and evidently, personally offensive to the chickens who then pecked those babies to death, two of them pulled one apart tug of war style, those baby mice got ripped to shreds and partially devoured before my brother and I could even set the coup down. The rooster in that pen took momma mouse out as well. These are chickens, not hawks, not raptors of any kind, just chickens. They're vicious with bugs too, chickens will absolutely fight over a big grasshopper or caterpillar, tearing it apart to devour it. Every member of my family got attacked by one or more of them too. In most scenarios, of course we engage people if we think they want to engage in discussion in good faith. @@deathitself6985 Toxic masculinity is immature masculinity of the dominant western culture such as sexism, misogyny, and rape culture; therefore inferior and detrimental to societal well-being. The natural expectation is that I will describe some sinister-sounding detail of behavior or snippet of body language or threatening use of language that is the subtle giveaway.

I imagine it's easy to get lost when you're being told that men can have babies and be sports illustrated's "woman of the year".
@@tiesyn244 Yes, learning and tolerating that some people are just different from you is certainly impossible if your emotional maturity is that of a toddler.
@@boodleboy my guy….there’s a difference between tolerance and empathy for others vs being shamed for not playing along in someone else’s fantasy.
@@tiesyn244 Och, are you the victim now? Someone shamed you? Oh the humanity. Here, while I pander to your bruised ego why don't you have a dose of how "cultural marxism" is to blame for everything (and other tropes literally taken out of Nazi ideology). And while we're at it, let me introduce you to some other talking heads like Shapiro or Crowder, who are being funded by fat corporate money for telling working class people to act and vote against their best interest. There there, little bigot, everything better now.
Reactionaries and their victim complexes are exhausting.

“Above all, do not lie to yourself. A man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point where he does not discern any truth either in himself or anywhere around him, and thus falls into disrespect towards himself and others. Not respecting anyone, he ceases to love, and having no love, he gives himself up to passions and coarse pleasures in order to occupy and amuse himself, and in his vices reaches complete beastiality, and it all comes form lying continually to others and himself. A man who lies to himself is often the first to take offense. it sometimes feels very good to take offense, doesn't it? And surely he knows that no one has offended him, and that he himself has invented the offense and told lies just for the beauty of it, that he has exaggerated for the sake of effect, that he has picked up on a word and made a mountain out of a pea--he knows all of that, and still he is the first to take offense, he likes feeling offended, it gives him great pleasure, and thus he reaches the point of real hostility...”

still mad that the mofo died before putting out the sequel to The Brothers Karamazov...further evidence that we're in the darkest timeline.
@@Dan-ud8hz wow, great quote
Could somebody _please_ convey this to him so he can feel emotionally fulfilled and then shut the fuck up. I'd love to keep getting a laugh from him in videos like this one (and there truly were some knee-slappers), but for Abel's sake, incels actually take this guy seriously.
When clowns cry
Crazy Joe Davola.
That make me think of Smokie Robinson's song Tears of a Clown and Prince's song When Doves Cry. Mashup!
Let's also note the raw dehumanization they're engaging towards their political opponents.
They're trying to create a premise where anything done against the "others" is justified.
Yeah and that’s exactly what the leftists do.
@@kasketbase8741 I'm pretty sure we got the entire past century that proves that your side is what does that on a constant basis.
Every single coup, genocide, military intervention and "regime change" from the capitalist bloc has been given the flimsy excuse of "they're evil" and "We're spreading freedom" even if the "evil" move towards left wing economics was decided by a sovereign nation with a supermajority of the electorate voting to do so.
Question: What's so "evil" or "anti freedom" of the people of a nation deciding that they want to try an alternative system to yours?
Animals just don't kill to eat! They kill out of fear and they kill to protect their family.
Does Jordan Peterson cry in every interview now? I know fascists have a predilection for the camp and theatrical, but surely doing it every time you are interviewed is a bit much...
Spot on.
A couple weeks ago I was in a used book store and a 50ish year old woman came in and asked for Peterson, the clerk said someone asks for him every 2 or 3 days. And then I see stuff like this and it's like "This is your guy?"
“If you buy a self help book, there’s something wrong with you. If there’s something wrong with you, how do you know you’re gonna choose the right book?” - Carl Barron
People “read” Jordan Peterson books?! 😱
You see one clip and think is this your chimp
@@keirfarnum6811 I listened to half of one so far 🤪
@@garyfrood6670
I've read 80% of 12 Rules and listened to a Chapo Traphouse reading series on it. I think that makes me an expert on bulshit of all kinds.
He seems scared of everything.
Scientifically proven to be the mould for conservatives
I wonder what they did to him when they get him off of Benzos. Something has gone quite wrong with him.
So.... being against fascism makes Jordan Peterson cry? That tells us a LOT about the guy.
I'm starting to feel bad for JP, he seems to be really losing it, this guy doesn't seem entirely sound of mind.
Yes. But it seems that most people don't get that. I get it, some stuff he says doesn't sound right though.
Take a look at your president bro
This what happens when some develops a cult like following of people who validate everything he says. For years anytime he would say something ridiculous his sycophants claim you took him out of context, and he was actually right. So instead of having any introspection his nonsense just gets deeper and deeper.
I thought he was interesting a long time ago, back when he was doing his lectures on psychology and the bible. Peterson is a sophist, which basically means he's good at manipulating the truth to mislead his followers. He used to make some good points, like his take on the Sodom and Gomorrah story being anti-xenophobia instead of anti-homosexuality. However, as he went through this process of being trained by his audience and his funders (right-wing groups give away lots of tickets in exchange for a little say in the messaging), he got more and more political and more and more inconsistent and hypocritical. As he got more pushback, he fuckin cracked under the pressure. I believed that, once upon a time, he honestly wanted to help people, but now it's like he fights this internal battle trying to justify letting himself getting pulled into the alt-right or whatever he's doing...I mean his brain is broken and it shows. I wonder, if you showed 2012 Jordan Peterson all the racist and pro-violence comment sections from his 2022 videos, if he would have went down a different path. Dude is just fuckin lost. It will be interesting and probably sad to see Joe Rogan's descent play out--I wonder how it will compare to JP. I feel sorry for these rich fucks because, once upon a time, they really did have something to offer.
Naw. He came out lying about C16.
He was always bad, always wrong.
Only accidentally correct, if anything.
Agree 100%
@@zacheryeckard3051 Right, I remember that was the big red flag for me because I looked into what C16 actually was after hearing his take on it. That was my "ok, this dude's full of shit" moment. I do think it's fair, however, to assume that anyone who goes into counseling has some good intentions, but he could be an exception--no argument there. Saying he was only accidentally correct lets him off the hook too much, though--it's saying he wasn't really a sophist. What makes him worse than simply a liar is that he used his PhD-level knowledge of psychology to use valid concepts, like personality models which therapists use to help people understand themselves, to deliver his lies. He was good at manipulating the truth, and if he wasn't then I don't think he'd have so many followers.
Good to see Andy has fully recovered from the traumatic brain injury he sustained from that brutal milkshaking a few years back. It appears the only lasting ill-effect is that British accent. Tragic!
Peterson is clearly in crisis
"I think it's revenge against God for the crime of being."
I think even Andy Ngo was struggling to follow the absolutely batshit logic on that one. I think JP should just cut his losses and become a religious poet at this point. He knows all of the words, but he seems increasingly unable to fit them into a cohesive political standpoint.
A really deep thought, that makes no sense.
ah does big bad antifa scare 😱 you, ahh poor baby 👶 😢 does little jordan peterson need a diaper change..
There's nothing wrong with Jordan, he knows at this point he can just throw nonsense out at certain parts of the audience and when he runs out of BS he can cry to for effect.
Jordan Peterson is a lunatic. He’d make a perfect villain in ANY STORY…
Something seriously wrong with that guy
JP looks like that old drunk at the bar that rambles on nonsensically, and everyone tries to stay away from because if you acknowledge him or even make eye contact he'll ramble at you to no end.
This guy needs help. For real. So let me get this straight he thinks anti fascist are taking out there revenge against God for the crime of being? Does he think that fascist are God? And does he, as opposed to us, actually think our existence is a crime just for being? I think he thinks that. Yo that was some twisted thought there, is that Nazi rhetoric? I think he is Kane in his story, and he thinks people who are anti fascist are a crime against God for simply being.
When your analogy begins with a provable error, you're off to a bad start.
I don't feel like he is very stable. He gets choked up by the weirdest subjects. It always feels like there is something else going on in his head but he has no idea how to reconcile it or communicate it. And its weird he is a kind of self help guru for so many people, because he himself needs some professional help. Thats not even trying to be insulting, I genuinely think he is not mentally always together these days and its irresponsible to let him influence or advise impressionable and lost people.
THIS. He's definitely going through something and the internet laughing at him like a public spectacle is NOT ok. It's 1. ableist bullying, 2. Probably dangerous
He's the Kanye West of the IDW.
Emma loving every second of it and I’m here for it. Peterson is a petty little man.
Sam's girlfriend! 😉
What an Alpha. I actually think he's telling the truth here. It's just that he's talking about conservatives, not antifa. Just apply what he's saying to how conservatives treat anyone not in their group. It's actually pretty truthful.
