Hey Mtb Alan! My parents woke me up early and surprised me with a day trip to snow summit! I was watching you on the way up and I was really hoping to see you today and I did!! I even got to ride behind you and it was awesome! Amazing videos!
I have one buddy that I can’t follow because I’m too busy watching what he’s doing. Great job keeping up with Dylan. Sick video ! And great job progressing on those whips!
Ha! That's funny. I just get so stoked watching people get rad in front of me. The main danger for me is when I think I can do what they do. LOL! Thanks! and Thanks! 🤘🏾
I was up there on Saturday the 31st. Was my first time up at Snow Summit and took my new Stumpy EVO with me. Had a blast! Met a couple of other riders that were up there for the first time too, so I trained with them for the rest of the day. Your full pulls on BlueSteel and Party Wave / Westridge helped a-lot. I was able to pretty much hit everything comfortably at full speed after the first runs on both. Blue Steel and Party Wave were so much fun, can’t wait to go back. 😎🤘🏻 #stoked
He has SO much control over his bike it's wild. That shortcut at Blue Steel was sweet and then were you blown away by that casual flip on the hip? So sick
As someone who rides a hardtail at Snow Summit I've always wondered how a full sus would change the experience. I've never ridden one but always say to myself it must be nice after sending it too far off some of those tombstones haha
Hey Alan, can u share the setting of your camera? My takes aren’t clear and sharp as yours. (I was there same day for the first time, and your videos helped me a lot. Thks)
4K 24fps Superview High bitrate Medium sharpness Currently, I am on the HERO10 and shoot 5K and downsample to 4K during edits which seems to make it look even crisper. I also shoot in flat and set the color temp to around 5000K and then do color grading in post. But if you're not doing color grading, try GoPro's "natural" color setting. Hope that helps.
@@mtb_alan haha I was gonna say, if anything it's been growing massively with red bull's event exposure in freeriding. WC racing is just the ultra awesome part of the sport you get into once you actually ride and appreciate it.
"then i heard thunder just as I was hitting the tombstone" ... Alan, do a halloween special short narration with that as the opening line. 'and as i got back to the lift line i noticed half the riders were zombies and it was spreading!!' you can use video audio for ambience and have guest appearances by tony pepperoni the zomberoni himself
Dylan is so fking good. Not that the bike matters to him, but this is a good reason to get a DH bike right here if you go to the park a lot. You'd benefit from one as you're already a good rider who can keep speed, plus you can find good DH rigs for pretty cheap considering their limited use.
7:44 sheeeeesshhhh 🔥🔥🔥🔥
🤘🏾
Dylan was riding insane bro also kudos for your riding ability and keeping up and get that footage awesome content as always brother
Dylan is a the definition of ripper. Thanks! It was one of THE best laps I've had at Snow Summit. 🤘🏾
That backflip though lol
IKR
You gotta love the weekend crowd… Your no slouch! You were keeping up with Dylan🤘🏻 Love the video🤘🏻🇺🇸
Some “creative” riders doing some “creative” things. 😆
Thanks. Though I’m sure Dylan was being nice because he knew I was filming. 😅
Dylan is on another level of bike control
💯

Heck yeah! So rad.
I would've been distracted and mesmerized by riding behind Dylan Stark. Good job in keeping up and keeping rubber side down! :)
Ha! It was pure stoke.
Hell yeah me too! I would have powered into a tree watching that back flip! 😄
@@chrismcculloch9041 😆
Dylan Stark--damn that guy!! Like, what in the actual f@ck!!? Looks effortless. Great vid.
You said it!
Heck yeah MTB Alan x Dylan Stark 👏🏽 I'm guessing this had to be one of your most memorable runs at Summit lol y'all were going #HARD!
💯 The best follow-cam I've gotten and definitely one of the most amazing runs.

Imma try some of those lines next week. Especially the one off of party waves. Looks like the most doable for me! Great video 👍👍
Nice. Let me know how it goes. 🤘🏾
Must’ve been awesome riding with Dylan stark!
Heckin' A it was! 🤘🏾

Heckin' A! That's rad to hear. Glad the vids helped.
Gimme a shout if ever see me up there, and maybe we can get a lap.

He's an artist.
I was half expecting the flip on the hip actually.
Good thing because I ended up right next to him. 😆
Anyone who uses Party Wave as a warm-up lap is a Park Rat. That's rad that you get up there so much...I am envious
Ha! You're not wrong.
I'm fortunate to live pretty close by.
@@mtb_alan It's so addicting...I was "Local Legend" on chair 1 most of the summer, yet I am sitting here watching your video wanting to head back up.
@@MTBMOR 😆
Insane! Great job sticking behind him and getting such rad vid. Awesome thunderstorm. What a day!
What a day indeed! And it all resulted from the chairlifts repeatedly getting shut down. No hero dirt without rain!
The only reason Alan kept up was because Dylan spent most of the time in the freaking air!!!
What about the one handed tree branch slap from Dylan @ 9:15 !! Sick dude!
That was so fookin sick. Dylans whips out to 9 and 3.30 are so rad.
i liked, unliked, just so i could like this vid again. Well done man
IKR! He’s on another level.
Ha thanks for the multi-like. 👍🏾👍🏾😆
Those jumps are beautiful! And scary...
Haha…you described them perfectly.
Stan and Gia rip. They spent a week out here in the Portland area with me. Shredded Mt. Hood pretty hard. 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Yeah they do! NGL. I’m a bit jealous of all the different stuff they ride.
The appropriate follow cam song for the Dylan Stark section of the video WOULD have been "Whip It - Devo"!! Stupid copyright infringement.
Ha! You’re so right. 🤘🏾😆
As someone who rides a hardtail at Snow Summit I've always wondered how a full sus would change the experience. I've never ridden one but always say to myself it must be nice after sending it too far off some of those tombstones haha
You should give it a try.
I cut the part where Stan said he's ready to switch back to full-squish. :)

On my way to be RAD 😎
Seems like it was a great day, I’m going this Friday, wish me luck yew🤙
Yew!
Hey man! I saw you up there saturday! Hope you had a good ride!
Thanks! Got a bead puncture but was able to fix it and get back on the trail. Was still a rad day!
Yes!! Mtb isn’t dead 😃,
I do ride bmx but I like mtb !
Wow...that's the first time in a decade anyone has said anything about MTB being dead.

Yeah! Dylan is on another level.
I would definitely dig trying a DH bike.
Bro when the thunder started I got stuck in the lift line, and it didn’t start going till like the day was over.
Ha! Sounds like a good day.
What bike was Dylan riding?
He was on a YT. Not sure what model.
@@mtb_alan Tues
I like to think that’s what I look like when I do my butt whip.
😆
@2:51 when scooter kids start riding mtbs.
It does sometimes remind me of razors at the skatepark.
Haha not even sure what to comment...
🤘🏾😆
I think he was drunk.
Drunk on steeze.
