I love watching these but your talking about everything but the x-force team and there powers...shatter star, boom boom, caninball, domino or cable.talk about that too
Edit: Rob, I love that you keep bringing up the Spidey MJ dissolution and their other slips like the inhumans, and I hope you continue to bring them up.
I listen to comics explained every day before going to bed. Literally right before I go to sleep. I don’t even watch the video I keep the screen down and turn my phone off when it’s done. Kind of like my own bed time story :) ROB 4 EVER
I don't mean to be rude, but for some reason I enjoyed the videos more when you're not cutting back and forth to you on camera. I think it kind of disrupts it for me, as opposed to your older vids. Just my opinion, love the content!
X-Force used to be my favorite team, but then like Rob said, all those changes that just ruin it for me, kept my favorite comics from the series and sold the rest
Did the same. To me it'll always be Cable, Domino, Cannonball, Boomer, Siryn, Warpath, Rictor & Shatterstar... eh, and Feral but she was a crazy biatch.
honestly this channel is so cool its just hone for everything nerd💯 i honestly watch no other channel when it comes to comic books not being weird his voice just flows wit the comic explanations
It's so crazy how you manage to know all this stuff and remember so many details. smh I'm grateful tho, because not even the covid pandemic can compel me to try to read allllllll these comics!
Wouldn’t it be cool if X-Force had a game that had the same art style and gameplay of borderlands 2 and was made by gearbox and 2k, the creators of said game.
@@Miguelon88888 yeah I know, I’m just saying a modern day x-men or marvel game that has a comic or cell shaded aesthetic would be awesome to see in my opinion. I mentioned borderlands because the characters within those game are like mercenaries and deadly combatants that have superhuman abilities kinda like the x-force. Cable, Deadpool, domino, Shatterstar, warpath, bedlam, feral, moon star would be interesting characters to play. With this x-force video I put two and two together. For example, Skyrim is a good blueprint for a doctor strange or masters of the mystic arts game. Their are games that have mechanics and premises that would match well with a marvel inspired game.
idk why everyone hates this new video format i think its dope getting some Rob face time mixed with some comicbook art, Let the man do his videos how he wants we still get the knowledge and the comic panels that are important to the topic.
6:32 I know of a similar case which is the character Circuit Breaker who was a Transformers villain back when Transformers comics were being done by Marvel. As per their agreement, any character created for the Transformers comics would be owned by Hasbro. But the writer and creator of Circuit Breaker didn't want her to be owned by Hasbro, so he had her put into one panel of Secret Wars II. Marking that as her first appearance before being in Transformers and thus owned by Marvel, not Hasbro. And after the run of Transformers under Marvel ended, they did nothing with her. Which is unfortunate because she's a pretty cool character and I could see Marvel repurposing her as a villain in the MCU. She'd basically be very bad news for anyone in a powered suit like Iron Man, War Machine, Black Panther, Ant-Man, The Wasp, Falcon, Spider-Man(if he's in one of the suits Tony gave him), and probably even Vision.
I started reading Uncanny X-men and New Mutants in the late 80's. I do admit that I became a huge fan after the Xtinction Agenda when the Xbooks got renamed. I still read Xmen (blue team) because I've always been a big fan of Psylocke, Wolverine, Gambit (I used to call them the "grimey squad"). But I would ride my bike to the comic store to see what Shatterstar and Cable were up to before I touched any other Xbook.
Hey Rob, hope you see this. Love the videos, watched more of them than I can count. I was wondering if you had any plans to talk about the Mojoverse. I had a Longshot comic as a kid but i cant remember much of it, and I'd love to know more. Thanks dude, keep it up!
Such a mixed bag of feelings regarding the new format, lmao! Everyone, relaaax. We have the perfect blend of facetime and panel time. As a long time subscriber and fan, Rob, I enjoy this new format thoroughly. If you do go back to the old format so people aren't triggered that's okay, too. But, I do like this format, personally.
Awesome breakdown. Especially for someone like me that stops following and always eventually tries to get caught back up. I am restarting Xforce completely and the early 90s issues are so awesome to re-read
great video this brings me back to when i was younger... reading x- force for the first time.... the new mutants all that good stuff... great stuff keep up the awesome work!!!
I've been watching all your videos well all the ones I can find. And I really like your hulk vids and I've learned so much about the Marvel comics and universe and your vids have really helped me understand my favorite hero's
I dig the new format man. You're so knowledgeable and friendly it's going to benefit you to get your face out there. I love all your videos. You should teach a course on comic book history for real.
1. What happened to the ring you were going to give away. 2. Good video but It would have been nice to talk about the individual members of the team and their powers at least a brief summary.
Have you ever explained "Generation X?" I really liked the comic back in the day. I did feel the comic ended kind of crazy, though. Maybe you could do something on that if you already haven't.
Sizwe. A Mabaso - that's his superhero identity. He hides his super powered afro under his hats and controls it with his Rob Corp ring. His hair turns into constructs like a green lantern.
Actually, the X-Force members from DEADPOOL 2 are all from different points in X-Force history. Domino was a founding member, debuting (apparently) in NEW MUTANTS #98 (1992), while Shatterstar appeared in the following issue. Bedlam only showed up in X-FORCE #82 (1998). The acid-spewing Zeitgeist made his only appearance in X-FORCE #116 (2001l.
No offense (I honestly think you're awesome), but I'd much rather look at comic book art while watching your videos than looking at you. As you probably know, you talk pretty fast and it's easier to process what you're saying while looking at the subject matter than looking at you. Besides, art is art.
Malthizar there was nothing racist about it. You are probably one of those race baiting snowflakes who thinks everyones hates minorities but people like you perpetuate racism idiot
That would be awesome! New Mutants and X-Force along with Cable is the one series I've always stuck with and never abandoned. I always liked Liefeld personally but I get why a lot of people don't like him.
Just watched this, and perhaps someone noted it below, but yes: X-Force #1 was a huge seller because it was a #1 issue of a NEW X-title. But another reason? Pure marketing. Each issue came in a sealed bag, and in each bag was a little card with an X-Force character on it. There were five cards in total. As a kid, that meant that I had to (yes, HAD TO) buy all five, PLUS one that I could gently razor blade open at the top to actually read the book. So, I bought (and still have) six bleeping copies of that book. The same goes for the new X-Men book. I forget the number, but Jim Lee put out like 5 variant cover that, when placed side-by-side made a large mural, which was also available in a special issue with the whole mural on a gatefold cover. Needless to say, I bought all of those, too.
woo I am on time!!!! must use this opportunity. I know you are busy, but can you work A Selene episode into one of your series? origins, or something? ty.
Highlight of Deadpool 2: Watching Rob "Comic Book Poison" Liefeld's abominations die horrible deaths...except for Peter, Peter is the greatest X-Force member of all time.
Rob!! If u haven't seen deadpool 2 it's awesome! Also in the background of one of the parts there's a poster that says "days of M are upon us!" Maybe a nod too the House of M comics?

Once again, great content jeff !! Love all you Marvel/MCU video's ! Thanks
Please do a separate video on Wolverine's X-Force. The Dark Angel Saga is still one of Marvel's best storylines in the last decade.
Dude, I am not sure if you were reading comics back then but you talk like you did. Great video.

been waiting years for this. Thx man :)

I'm pretty sure Rob meant Marc Silvestri, the comic creator, and not Alan Silvestri, the film composer @ 7:21. Both are cool, though.

DarkDrawnComics Peters not from the cimucs; as completely original, probably just meant to show how random DP gets.
You have an amazing camera!
Cable is one of the only superheroes I rank up there with wolverine and Batman he's so bad ass.
There was always a special place in my heart for the black ops X Force team, great video Rob 👍
Loved X-force Vol.2 (or 3) when they got back to the black ops dark outfits and badassery.
Thats, crazy because the “uncanny: X-Force” is definitely one of the best x-force
The starting point for X-Force, imo, would be New Mutants #87 with the first appearance of Cable. Cable IS X-Force.
Just saw deadpool 2. Payoff is at during credit scenes.
I liked the Cameo in the mansion
Pay off was Brad Pitt
Juggernaut
There was no Payoff...
Chandler Gerald That bad huh?
The ring is hefty. I was impressed. Super big for my finger, but still really well made.
Remender’s Uncanny X-Force was the end all, be all best X-Force run. My favorite version of Deadpool and holy crap is his Fantomex the bees knees
