I been a tank for many years. Since Heavensward was the only expansion up until near the end of post endwalker.
I've leveled a lot of physical dps and magical ranged dps to 90 :')

I always play as a tank, but when I tried queuing as DPS, oh boy, the waiting time... And whenever that 'ding' sound interrupts my conversation with my wife, I'm like, 'Honey, I'm sorry, duty calls!' Bahaha

A surefire way to get instant leveling roulette queues as a DPS is to queue, tell yourself “this usually takes 10-15 min to queue at this hour” and start a story cutscene - DING!!😓😵
I'm working through the story with my first character, and literally every time. I try to wait, figure I've got at least the tine for one, start a cut-scene, and DING.
That, or go get a drink from the fridge. Every time with me...
The worst are non skipable cutscene xd
I swear going to on the bathroom gets you instapop on dps
Or go to the bathroom, I never use so much toilet paper as when I hear that ding mid doing the business!

That sound should be the starting whistle for foot races. Records would be shattered.
I should set that sound as my alarm clock XD its so triggering i need it.
That queue time must've been crazy if he thought he could have any type of conversation during duty roulette.
While it varies depending on patches/expanses. The average dps queue has been known to be 15 to 30 minutes. So if one pops you take it, also it loves to pop whenever you try to take care of something. Especially restroom breaks.

It always sound when I go to the bathroom. Always. It's too frustrating when you are a DPS and don't come back in time.
The worst was when I was in queue for more than 3 hours to do the first lv80 alliance raid (I don't remember the name right now).
I was in the bathroom when I heard the sound. I ran to my room as if my life depended on it but I was too late nevertheless. A traumatic experience xd
I deadass need the queue ping as an alarm. I will never snooze.

If you cancel x3 you get 30 min of no instances.... or something like that

The number of times I've gotten a dungeon queue pop up as a dps, while in a cutscene, is just laughable at this point.

I mean tank ques pop fast, you could have let him finish.....now if you were dps thats an emergency. No one wants to wait another hour for the que to pop.
I play tank healer and DPS so I'm a bit of it all , that penalty is a nightmare to me u could be 100 yards away you'll turn into an athlete in seconds and run whatever it takes just to make it in time or hope someone leaves before u get there 😂
