- I do not own any of the rights of either song or images in this video except for the images of my private videos I've shot in Italy. As there is no official video for this intensely moving song, I made this video for the fans and to pay tribute to this ownway band.
One of R.E.M.'s best songs ever. "New Adventures in Hi-Fi" is so underrated.
Finally someone who gets it.Wonder if it is Stipes favourite of REM...

I loved this album. I had just moved to Bahrain the year this came out and I would listen to it over and over on my Discman with speakers in my apartment. It gave me comfort and made me feel close to home.
For me, different story, but same feelings. This is what music is about 🙂

Starts like a “melty”, ballad intro, but it turns out to be powerful, always full of sentiment though.
Love R.E.M. and their moodiness in a lot of their songs and this one is near the top. I want to see them in concert .
