Steintor Herrenchor - That’s Mirko, Timon, and Milan from Hanover, Germany, who actually once made hip hop and dub techno together. One fateful heartbreak later, the template for the song “Postkarten” was born, and the musicians suddenly found themselves on the stages of various festivals as part of the new New German Wave. For COLLIDE, the group staged their songs “wohin” and “manchmal” and covered the song “Ich will nicht älter werden” by Bärchen und die Milchbubis which brings us back to the 80s. Concentrated pop-punk power from 80s Hanover meets a new generation. The spectacle is stylishly complemented by the visual art of Alexander Trattler and Elastique. The visuals reinforce the musical messages - from the intimacy of human touch and the beauty of simplicity to AI-altered portraits. Each image is a journey through the complexity of the songs and the band.

Reeperbahn Festival is the biggest club festival in Europe and the largest European platform for international pop culture and the music industry. Since 2006, for four days each September the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany has become the centre of the international music world and a sustainable interface between artists, the public, industry representatives and society. The Conference programme is aimed at professional visitors from all segments of the music industry from around the world.
The Reeperbahn Festival takes place under the sign of togetherness - racism, sexism, homophobia and exclusion have no place with us.

Steintor Herrenchor, das sind Mirko, Timon und Milan aus Hannover, die eigentlich irgendwann einmal gemeinsam HipHop und DubTechno gemacht haben. Einen schicksalhaften Heartbreak später, war die Vorlage zum Song „Postkarten“ geboren und sie fanden sich plötzlich als Teil der neuen Neuen Deutschen Welle auf den Bühnen diverser Festivals wieder. Für COLLIDE haben sie ihre Songs „wohin“ und „manchmal“ in Szene gesetzt und covern den Song „Ich will nicht älter werden“ von Bärchen und die Milchbubis, der die 80er nochmal in unsere vier Wände zurückholt. Geballte Pop-Punk-Power aus dem Hannover der 80er Jahre trifft hier auf eine neue Generation. Stilsicher ergänzt wird das Spektakel durch die visuelle Kunst von Alexander Trattler und Elastique. Sie verstärkt die musikalischen Botschaften - von der Intimität menschlicher Berührungen und der Schönheit der Einfachheit bis hin zu von KI-veränderten Porträts - jedes Bild ist eine Reise durch die Komplexität der Songs und der Band.
