Black Honey celebrates nostalgic indie rock mixtures in various flavors: sometimes with electronic pop nuances, sometimes refined with pinches of playful garage rock. It’s a sound that saw them conquer the top of the UK’s Official Independent Album Charts with “A Fistful of Peaches” in March 2023. To add to this top position, they also ranked 6th in the UK’s Official Album Charts - right between P!NK and Fleetwood Mac. For COLLIDE, they perform a cover version of the Grammy award-winning song “Unholy” by Sam Smith and Kim Petras with their own unique guitar sound in addition to performing “Heavy” and “OK” from their chart-topping album. Anna Balthasar skilfully showcases the three tracks through her visual art: AI-generated textures and images replicate the album artwork of “A Fistful of Peaches”, combining the beauty of nature with the nostalgia of vintage video game graphics. A play between abstraction and genre that blurs the boundaries between design and art. In short: definitely worth seeing!

Reeperbahn Festival is the biggest club festival in Europe and the largest European platform for international pop culture and the music industry. Since 2006, for four days each September the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany has become the centre of the international music world and a sustainable interface between artists, the public, industry representatives and society. The Conference programme is aimed at professional visitors from all segments of the music industry from around the world.
The Reeperbahn Festival takes place under the sign of togetherness - racism, sexism, homophobia and exclusion have no place with us.

Mal mit elektronischen Pop Nuancen versehen, mal durch Prisen von verspieltem Garage
Rock verfeinert. Ein Sound, der sie mit „A Fistful of Peaches“ im März 2023 die S pitze der
UK’s Official Independent Album Charts erobern ließ. Zu dieser Top Platzierung reihten sie
sich zudem auf Platz 6 der UK’s Official Album Charts zwischen P!NK und Fleetwood Mac ein.

Petras als Coverversion in ihrem einzigartigen Gitarren Sound ab und performen "Heavy" und
"OK", von ihrem Charterfolgsalbum. Anna Balthasar setzt die drei Tracks gekonnt durch ihre
Visuelle Kunst in Szene: KI generierte Texturen und Bilder fangen das Album Artwork zu "A
Fistful of Peaches" neu ein und verbinden die Schönheit der Natur mit der Nostalgie von
Vintage Videospielegrafiken. Ein Spiel zwischen Abstraktion und Schrift lässt die Grenzen von
Design und Kunst verschwimmen. Prädikat sehenswert!
