Some days after I had my first trip of LSD, I started to see duplicated... Then I realized that I was stereoblind before cause my brain only saw with one eye at a time, and then I realized my brain was reconigzing both images at once, I just needed to know how to fuse then... Then I started to make exercises, like puting an object near your nose and try to "decipher" how those two 2d images could make a 3d perception of depth... I had some bad time doing it... Sometimes it seemed nearly impossble... Then I kept trying a lil more and some day I just saw a random object while training, and the feeling is like "hooooly shit, this was right there all the time, I just didn't treated the images with the right approach before"... And still today my 3d vision is improving more and more, naturally...
I have binocular vision (for two years now) and the doctors are studying the reason. It’s really hard for me to see ‘normal’ again, when the doctor ask me is just really confusing. Also they always think is all the time and it’s not, sometimes I can see just fine with my glasses and sometimes I can’t see at all.
Really interesting and informative. As a sufferer of right extrophia, this made me appreciate the lengths my doctors had to go to to arrive at that conclusion. I particularly liked the part about testing a patient's fixation at more than 6 metres. I would have loved to have seen that. :D
Very interesting and informative. I have a query regarding the 4^BO test. When the prism is removed and the eye does not move then this indicates a central suppression. If so, how come this does not show up also in the bagolini cross test as an incomplete diagonal bar? Never encountered +ve results in both test ?
Guess who found out today they have non binocular vision ... ME 6 years ago I got glasses for my lazy eye went today and found this out , so basically I can’t see see two things cause my left eye is two lazy so my right eye takes over and does all the work
I am an 86 year old male last year when driving I could see 2 white lines went to the optician and after an eye test said I needed prizm glasses I wear them for driving later I noticed I couldn't see the tv properly so went back to the optician who said I needed another pair of glasses when watching the tv also I have reading glasses I should have said in 2018 I had 2 cataracts done also I had scar tissue on the retina removed from 1 eye I asked the optician to refer me to the eye hospital but she said I didn't need to go there what do you think
