You should bring the old series back of better countries in vici 3 like play as soon give it all resources a state can have and become gdp1 without conquering another state
30:00 if you use 1908 british pound converted to 2022 USD and multiply it by your GDP, that means if your Tunis existed today, it would have a GDP of 1.6 trillion USD making it the 10th largest GDP behind Italy and above Canada 🤩
Unrecognized status is a big hit to ranking. To remove it, you have to beat a GP with the CB to get recognized, which would be trivial with France's support. However, GPs can't share markets, so I don't know if it would remove you from France's or cap you at 9th rank as a form of subject.
laith if you favourite the market tab (top right of the market details menu), you can quickly see the top 3 demanded and top 3 cheapest items in your market on the favourites bar. Very useful to see what you immediately need in your economy.

Subsidizing industries seems to be actually pretty bad in the long run aside from small stints when changing production methods. It makes wages not become competitive and thus you end up having to pay really high wages for an industry that could most likely hire people for much cheaper and be self-sufficient rather than a drain on your resources.
@@dylan__dog I agree it does have some situational uses, I just don't think it is useful in most cases and can be way more detrimental than helpful if used incorrectly.
Hey laith as a moroccan u kinda started a rivelry here, i fired a game with morocco and managed to reach 1Bil economy ranking the n1 Great power, i would like to see this tunisia game reaches a similar goals
Divorcing yourself from a market you’re entwined with might be one of the harder things to do. I won a cheeky war to liberate South Africa and the market spiraled for a year before I stabilized it and burned up my substantial gold reserves. Annoyingly I found out that there are no domestic supplies of sulfur in the bottom half of Africa so I ended up pretty hobbled unless I want to spend the last twenty years trying to conquer the continent or Australia.
6:39 pretty historically accurate to when Britain banned slavery! The released slaves had to work the same jobs (on a sort of contract where they couldn't leave that job for a large number of years) for a low wage, basically to keep their former owners exploiting them - under the guise of 'teaching former slaves how to earn a wage'.
It's not like they could have done any other kind of job. They were illiterate and knew only the work they did for years. A low wage is better than nothing
@@riccardocirielli These people were literally property for most of their lives. The type of trauma they must have experienced is unknowable to most western people today, but clearly the priority of the empire was to lessen the blow to their slave driven economy as much as possible, rather than do the humanitarian thing and offer reparations to the freed slaves themselves. Or offer them access to education, or anything that wasn't to force them into further service for the exact people that enslaved them previously.
Honestly i find the fact that there are various ways of ruling your nation and building your economy in this game really fun, personally my favorite playthroughs were: A colonial economy game as the Netherlands (with one less Belgium in the world since I conquered it early) and an "oligarchy" game as the Confederates, I haven't finished this one yet but I plan on eventually creating a fully libertarian state since it makes sense looking at the Confederate... political opinions.
Hey Laith... I've thought of a playthru idea... try to conquer as much of the world as possible in EU4... thru diplomatic means only... I've been playing Ayutthaya recently and for the first time in 2000 hours of playing, I worked out how to quickly conquer small nations thru diplomatic means. Maybe everyone else already uses this all the time? I only ever conquered. My idea.. is you can never have more than 0 AE in any nation. You can use any CB you like and have as many wars as you like for money and other things but ur not allowed to force vassalize in wars or feed vassals enemy provinces... unless it gives 0ae.. i think reconquest still gives you ae? Anyway... small less than 100 dev nations you diplo annex... big nations you try to break down into smaller ones that u can diplo annex.. I did do some conquest wars as Ayyuttha but mostly I did diplo annexing and I took over most of SE ASIA & like a third of India & Tibet by 1520... the only problem im having is vassals seem harder & harder to get 190 relations.. like -135 due to annexed vassals.. i think u need to annex them in the exact order u take them so this number doesnt get too big?
There is a small country called Croatia in Austria, I challenge you to play as Croatia, become independet, destroy Austria, drive ottomans back, have full control over old yugoslavia territories, try to also be in top 10 powers at the end of the challenge. Thanks for everything you do :D Have a good day. And if you by any chance find this easy I can give a few extra rules I guess something like "You must stay monarchy always, cannot trade with the austrians and ottomans (embargo em pretty much), cannot ally the austrians, ottomans, serbs, montenegro and russians. I think thats it. It could be too much even for such a CHAD like you". I do apologise for not saying it right away this is for Victoria 3. Day 20 of asking. Come on Laith I know youre seeing this I have no plan on stopping :D.
Honestly I'm pretty sure coming under someone else's market is just curse hidden in a blessing because on one hand your economy soars but on the other you can never leave without your country basically burning itself down to the ground. Some countries just aren't meant to ever achieve great power status and Tunis is one of them
Here's a suggestion: Dominate Europe as Prussia/Germany but stay friendly with your cousins. So keep the King/Kaiser as head of state but if your cousins lose their countries they are fair game.
I have a idea for you - realese Slovakia and unite Czechoslovakia with its borders pre-WW2 borders OR as Krakow or realesead Poland unite Poland-Lithuania.
