  • Today more than ever communities and consumers are homesick for a version of capitalism that we can trust. Companies that value people over profit are more profitable as they honor the hunger we have for ethical business practices.
Described as “a mind that feels the trends before market,” Bend-based Partridge teaches leaders and organizations how to position their brand, love their people and develop profitable corporate social responsibility programs. He is the author of the upcoming book “People over Profit.” In less than two years, Partridge’s venture, Sevenly, has given more than $3 million-in donations of $7 each-to charities across the globe. Partridge has been featured on Fox News, NBC, INC. Magazine, Mashable, MSN Money, Forbes, Los Angeles Times and on the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine.

Too bad the company he bases all this on basically collapsed and the investors kicked him out.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! But it's going to be difficult and it's only going to happen when each person who sees this really begins to believe in always doing the right thing, even if it means making sacrifices. We can break the system, we can become good people.

Sounds plagiarized from the world economic forum’s stakeholder capitalism.

Did he ever actually explain his theory on how you can make corporations value people? All I heard was 'do the good' but never actually said how that could be achieved. Was he suggesting that corporations will simply evolve into 'the good company' over time? This is exactly the kind of obnoxious vagueness that I hate so much in tedtalks.
