I bought the X-Pro2 in March 2016 (Pre-ordered). I have loved it and use it far more than my Nikon DSLRs. A couple of weeks ago I added an X-T2 with VPB to my kit and it feels so good. Nice video and it has been quite useful.
I really appreciate you taking the time to do this. No doubt you know this camera inside and out but you seemed unprepared. You mention shutter release/af-l options and showed a demo but never talked about setting that up. Again, I appreciate it and learned some things with my camera I received today but maybe jot some notes down next time 😀
Hi! I think I broke my front command dial/wheel… The one you can change to ss or f. I tried both ways and only rear dials work… i don’t know what to do
There is something that was frustrating me about the X-T1 and it seems to continue in X-T2 - the eye-cup. Look at the 0:35. You can see the amount of dust stuck on the eye-cup. It is so hard to clean it off that rubbery material. It is the same with the original eye-cup and the extended one (as shown in the video). Fuji, PLEASE, PLEASE replace that material with something that repels dust.
+Theoria Apophasis well, it does not diminish the product at all but this is something that personally bothers me. I have extended eye cups on my Nikons as well, and although they also collect dust with the time, they can be very easily wiped off. It's a different type of rubber I guess.
nolaPIC its rect. and not round for a reason, so it doesnt get in the way of the EYE SENSOR, or the hot shoe OR the LCD display now that that "mystery" is solved……….
I just recently switched from Canon to Fuji and I find a strange thing happens while shooting in low light. Both the EVF and LCD display a lag as if showing a video with a15fps and long shutter speed? I shoot landscapes so alot of my work is in low light? If I search google it, everything I can read about it says it's a power save lag but if half press the shutter and make sure the camera is active, the lag doesn't change once in low light? I never had this with live view on LCD with Canon?
Hi Mark, can you describe weather conditions...temperature etc. The Fuji Guys would like to try to duplicate what you are describing. We appreciate the feedback.
Jerry enjoyed the features of the video you explained. At the end you had your hand on the dials on the right and I could not see what you were doing. Just an fyi
I have an X-T1 and 2, I use the 18 to 135 mostly, my problem is somehow, my fat fingers are moving the front SCM dial to M. I know I should pay attention to the viewfinder box (focus area) and it will light up when in focus, but I am not. How can I lock that dial. I did just purchase the manual 12mm lens. So will I have to move that dial to M when using that lens. Thanks
Hi Fuji Guys. I'm stuck and could really use your expertise. I recently purchased an X-t2 and have been working through the manual and your videos to get it set up. A key feature that I'm unable to find is the focal length indicator. Where is it/how do you turn it on? I rely on seeing my focal length for hyperfocal calculation as well as planning lunar shots where I need to be able to calculate object size/FoV and then correctly set up my shot in the field. You assistance is greatly appreciated. FYI...the lens I[m using (for now) is the 18-55. My firmware is up-to-date. Thank you.
Thanks for asking. The focal length does not show up in the EVF/LCD. If you review the EIXF data, you can find it there. We'll forward your question along to our Engineers to determine if that is something worth including in the next firmware version.

how about the problem with the rubber flap on the left side of the camera? it wont close properly on my x-t1, is the x-t2 still uses the same design/material for that specific flap?? i had to superglue a paper clip on my x-t1 to make it close properly. since my basic kit is the 16mm wr, i take street shots in the rain. so i need to make sure its closed properly.
Are there any hopes for getting the Fuji X-T2 to tether in Capture One? The software has listed the camera under “supported cameras” in their latest update, but as soon as I connect the X-T2 to my MacBook all functions on the camera get disabled and “USB” appears on the LCD. No camera is being recognized in C1. Or do I do something wrong? Any thoughts on this? That’s a big obstacle in my workflow. I unfortunately realized it after buying the X-T2. I don’t find any proper info on this matter and nobody is giving me a proper response either. Would appreciate your insight on this one. Thanks.
Hi perhaps you can help? When zooming with xt2 and any Fuji zoom the picture flickers as if it's constantly adjusting exposure, it's particularly problematic when zooming while recording video as it's recorded. Can you tell me why this happens and can it be stopped? Tried 3 popular Fuji channels and no one has answered me.
A helpful video as I'm thinking of getting one of these. A couple of things though...in your description you seemed to mix up the micro-USB for the HDMI port, I also believe the LCD is 1 million + dots not 920,000. Finally Fuji seem to have dropped a feature that I got when I upgraded my X-E2 to firmware 4.0, in that you can't seem to long press a function button directly on the X-T2 and get the customisation menu for that button. You seem now to only be able to long press the 'Display Back' button and only then choose which button on the camera you wish to customise...but that's a minor issue. I'm really looking forward to the full X-T2 review on DPReview when it comes out. To see if this camera really is as good as it seems to be!
Thanks for your feedback. You are correct, in that the LCD of the X-T2 is 1,040k dot (just over 1 million). As it turns out, both the ports are 'Micro'. The USB port is Micro-USB, and the HDMI port is Micro-HDMI. You are correct about the direct long-press of a button to customize. The other method to customize a button is to go 'the long way' into the menu. However, long-pressing the DISP/BACK will take you to the same place.
Thank you so much for your great tips. I'm just playing around with the settings with my fuji x-t2. But when I'm in A-Mode there's nothing happening with my front dial, I can't adjust the aperture (the little dial-sign "half moon" also doesn't appear). Also in P Mode I can't change the aperture with the rear dial. I use the xf 18-55mm/2.8-4. I assume that some setting in the menue could be the reason for this behaviour. Schutter speed works fine with the front dial, so I don't understand what I have done wrong. What can I do? Could you please help me ?
The 18-55 you must use the aperture ring. Set the aperture control switch to the little aperture symbol. The X-T2 does not use the command dials for aperture control.
In the Manual page 6+67 you see that it's possible to adjust the aperture with the rear command dial. There should also be this little sign in the VF "half moon for the dial" at the F-Stop to change it with the dial. This works with my camera with shutter speed but not with the aperture. I hope I don't bother you too much, but I've searched the whole internet and can't find an answer...Thank you for your help!
This is only applicable for lenses that do not have an aperture ring. (XC16-50, XC50-230 and the XF27mmF2.8) Otherwise you must use the aperture ring to control the aperture. you are not bothering us at all. We are here for you!
When shooting landscapes where you are wanting a significant depth of focus you can use single-point, but use a small aperture and select a point of focus that is about 1/3 to 1/2 the distance away from you.
Fuji Guys Channel many thanks, I was using that but wasn't too sure about zone, single point and wide and which was best. Would you recommend focus peaking for landscape?
If you use focus peaking on a landscape with a wide depth of focus, most of the image will show as being in focus, so it’s not really needed. At least in our experience.
Hey guys. Here's a question about the X-T1. Is there a way for it to work with studio flashes in CH drive mode? Or is S mode the only way a flash will fire with the X-T1? Thanks in advance.
The AC wall charger adapter for the grip only charges the grip batts-- you have to remove the grip to get the main or 3rd battery out of the camera itself and charge it via the conventional charger. But most people do not mention this. USB charging is not recommended, use the Fuji charger for single battery charging.
Thanks for asking Maximillian. The lens hood Jerry shows at the start and end is the optional LH-XF35-2, metal lens hood, that fits both the XF35F2 and XF23F2 lenses.
Hello Fuji Guys, what are reliable options when it comes to External Recorders for the XT2? Which models recognize or work with Fuji's F-LOG? Can you validade any of the below? - Atomos Ninja Flame - Atomos Shogun Flame - BlackMagic 4K Video Assist Thank you
no need to post twice, we read all the comments! The Atomos recorders are supported and work great. We use that for our videos. We are sure you it will work with BlackMagic, we just have not tested that setup.
i think I've been convinced by everything I've read and heard about this camera. I'm very much in macro (besides landscape) and see no macro lens in your line up.... at what date will we see that 80 mm lens?
We do not have an exact date at this time but we expect it this year. Stay tuned for official announcements on availability and pricing in the future. The 60mm and the extention tubes are great for macro too!
@@fujiguys It's a little odd that my 16-50 kit lens on my X-M1 goes to macro no problem with the body's macro setting, but there is no macro setting on a T-2. Limiting functionality is very unusual.
Absolutely! We are currently putting things together for our X-A3 videos. Stay tuned (If you aren't already, why not subscribe and you will be notified when new videos are uploaded.)
I wonder why the shutter speed can be changed by accident when the camera shutter speed is set to the camera’s sync speed. Seems like that should be “locked”; also would love for the focus switch on the front of the camera be a bit more difficult to change. I’ve changed it just by picking up the camera. Otherwise, I absolutely love my T-2!!
Thanks for the feedback. There is a way lock the shutter speed at 1/250 second. First..Turn the shutter speed dial to 1/250, then lock it in place. Then, go into the menu to: Settings > Button/Dial Setting. On the third page go to "Function Selection" and choose "Shutter Speed". Then go back one screen (to "Lock") and then go to "Lock Setting" and choose "Selected Function". That will prevent turning the rear command dial to adjust shutter speed.
That's correct. Normally, if you are in a studio environment, requiring the 1/250 sync, you are not adjusting shutter speed. However, We will pass this along to our Engineers as feedback. Thank-you.
I meant without unlocking it when I am not using the studio lights.... Another question! My PocketWizard Plus III works on my XT-2 sometimes; other times, it does not. Any advice?
Hey - just got my XT2. Have you noticed that the colour on the LCD is different to that on the XT1? The XT1 looks more true to life. The XT2 has a greenish tint to it. A friend of mine has one too and says his is the same. Any thoughts/ideas?
Double-check the white balance of the camera. With the X-T2, even in Auto White Balance, you can apply a White Balance Shift to the image. This would show up on the LCD. That's the only thing we can think of, so far...BTW, if you post the same question on multiple videos, UA-cam will often flag them as spam, so we won't see any of them. If you limit your question to only one of our videos, we'll be more likely to see your question and be able to respond. Thanks.
Thanks that is what I thought. If there is any firmware update about that, please tell me ;) Bytheway XT2 is an outstanding camera. It is by far the best price quality on the market, keep on doing this work.
Hi Lucas, can you give a quick description of the issues? Some may be because of a feature changes. To reviert back to a previous firmware, you will need to contact the support centre closest to you.
Thanks for the quick return. The problems are that some functions do not happen. The dial may be in video or double exposure or anything else that does not work. The camera does not turn off and I do not see the photos on the card. That would be the problem .... And when the lens is on the camera the setup menu some ... = s Thank you so much
All current content on the X-T2 is pre-release, firmware so it is difficult to demonstrate at this time. It is the algorithms that were refined to provide more accurate results. There are so many improvements over the X-T1, that we try to focus on the features with the most impact.
I am beginning to get into digital photography (I don’t do it professionally), I rented the Sony A7II with the 55mm f/1.8 and I really like it, I’m not going to get into the specifics, but the end result was a lot of great photos. If I get the Fuji XT-2, what am I sacrificing (if anything) by not having a full frame sensor and a base ISO of 200 instead of 100?. I use the camera for family, landscapes and some street photography, I know the price of the Sony lenses, but I only need one or two, I still have my film cameras and lenses. Thank you.
We'll be somewhat biased on our reply. However, many people enjoy using the Fujifilm system, as the lenses are much smaller than 'full-frame' lenses. For a less biased answer, try asking that question on one of the many digital imaging forums.
Hi, can you please answer a question. On my XT2 when everything is set in manual mode and with the exposure comp dial set to zero, the exp comp will change by itself in camera thus altering the exposure. Is there a menu setting that I am not aware of to stop this?
The exposure compensation is not moving. You are seeing a live meter to show you that you might be under or overexposing. If you are on all manual settings, values will not change, it is just showing you the change in the amount of available light.
Beautiful cameras. Too bad they are sooooo expensive here in Mexico. The devalued Mexican Peso really shot out these cameras out of the reach of many which is why I think they are taking so much longer to introduce the newer line here in Mexico. I haven't seen the X70 nor the Xpro-2 in stores locally.
You forgot to mention if you are shooting RAW and you are in Playback you cannot punch in your focus like your example to check sharpness. You can only move in a small amount with RAW. With JPEG you can move in more like you were showing of the cup. I always shoot RAW so that is an issue for me. I have to shoot a second card in Slot 2 with JPEG so I can punch in more like my Canons. Hopefully Fuji will fix that someday.
when is the X-T3 coming ? I really like fuji lens line up, before investing on lens, i need to know if fuji has any plans in future releasing still/video balance camera? For now i rent X-T2 when needed for still. But video it lacks many features, Internal LOG, 10bit codec and 4k60fps and 4k crop factor. Canon and sony withhold/divide best features across many cameras. Nikon don't bother about video guys, its clear. Panasonic is doing all it can for video, but 20mp!!. Now only choice is fuji with good sensor size and great inherited colors. 24mp is good enough but need better video specs.
Hi Jerry, Watching this video together with my brand new Fuji X-T2 it is very helpful and fun, learning a lot and want to share my experience about the yesterday bought Fuji X-t2, my first impression. For first I kept my Nikon D750 and the 50mm f/1,4 because I didn't know what to do. Why I making this step? Simple..I got massive back-problems, and the lenses from Nikon (14-24/24-70/70-200 all F/2,8) are just to heavy, I cant drag those any-more, therefore I sold my Nikon D3s and D4s and yesterday my last from the Holy trinity the f/2,8 14-24 with a big knot in my stomach :( I like the building quality from the Fuji X-t2, the dials and body are full metal, makes the Nikon looking like a Chinese plastic cheep ass camera (sorry Nikon) The Fuji X-t2 is a bit smaller because it is not a SLR, that means its missing the mirror and working with a display, and just that display is a horrible thing, I hate that a mirror is way better! Of cause the buttons and menu layout is frustrating me, I got use to it, the Nikon's handling blindfolded, now every step is searching :) I got the Fujinon 10-24mm F/4, FULL METAL and very light, beautiful little lens and unbelievable good building quality and very sharp, it got image stabilisation! (I didn't notice that in the first place) This combo is a winner for me, the weight from the NIKON 14-24 F2,8 is equal (or more?) to the weight from the Fuji X-t2 with the 10-24mm attached! And the picture quality from this combo is better than the Nikon D750 with the 14-24 f/2,8! Talking about ISO 200 max 800. I didn't have the time testing in higher ISO. My second Fujinon is a mistake, the f/1,4 35mm, the picture quality is really outstanding, but the focus is very slow, way to slow, and behaves like a toothbrush krrrrr....krrrrr I hate that. At least 3 battery's is what you need, equal to one Nikon! And for people with big hands like me, buy the grip like I did the MHG-XT2, or the battery (BOOSTER) grip VPB-XT2 what's to heavy for me. The sun is shining today, I going to play with my new toy, bye! :)
Wow this camera is packed with technology, i have decided to sell off my Sony a7ii and lenses to purchase this. Hopefully it will be good enough to so I can sell my Canon gear also. But I use the Fuji still doesn't have the telephoto lens selection yet.
Fuji Guys Channel are you guys going to make a fast zoom lens like sigma 18-35 ? I just bought the xt-2, but I don't see many options for low light zooms with ois
I thought I'd be interested in this camera until I found out it didn't have body stabilization. I like the lens selection and user interface but without IBIS, I'm not interested.
The Jpeg's are absolutely beautiful. The RAW will give you more information to work with. It really depends on what your workflow is. Sometimes the Jpeg can be enough. The in Processor Pro does provide the best conversion to Jpeg, especially for the Film Simulation.
Thanks for your support! Welcome to the Fujifilm "Family". If you have not already done so, register your camera to receive special emails and announcements. You can find out the details inside the camera box.
Hi Fuji Guys !! Ive a X-t2 and use it sometimes to film myself .... now the camera have no flip screen, ive used the fuji app to monitor it ...here ive a big problem i get ony 720p vids out of it, can u tell me why ? Itsss a biiiig drawback for me cause i was thinking to buy another X-T2 or X-T20 as backup, but if this is normal ive to look for another cam for filming.... Thank u love ur Vids !
Ok, you may have me..... Hello, my name is Greg Allen and I am a Nikonoholic. I am almost ready to jump ship but need more info the XT2 wireless transfers to a smartphone. I am an event photographer whose clients continually request images during the event. Nikon's solutions are rubbish and clunky and frankly not user-friendly in the field ( or office). Please send a link to a field review the wireless system. IMHO it the is the future. Very informative video.
is fuji ever going to have a graphite silver xt2 ? fuji needs to enter the modern world of cameras and give us touch screens like every flagship camera on the market except fuji. 1DXll. 5D4. D5. EM1 ll. GH5. new haselblad X1D. Sony A6500. a touch sceen doesnt take away from using your dials. it just ads functions like touch focus in video. makes it easier to view photos and go through menus. fuji needs to wake up. the camera world wants touch screens
The Xt2 n, did not iphone its a very good device the button it or it all the touch on a camera I say no a breakdown and hello repair and fujii for the photo that the best it has 100 time experience in this field
Stop comparing to the X-T1. I never had one, so these comments are irrelevant and meaningless to me. The run through of the various menus was way too fast to follow. I was never sure what your fingers were doing to choose each menu, so slow it down and explain, explain, explain!!
You should be more concentrated and focussed if you do such a video. Interrupting and correcting yourself all the time or searching for words, is kind of annoying. Other than that, very nice cam!
Too many annoying and distracting mistakes in this video. If you get it wrong, re-shoot it. I had to turn this off half way through because I could not stand it.
Your cameras are excellent. You need to stop undercutting them with these sadly unprofessional videos. Hire a marketing pro and a videographer who knows what he's doing. This is embarrassing.

(Sorry. We originally posted the incorrect response to a different post.)
Ordered it. Who knows when it will actually arrive? In the meantime, the X-T1 still kicks ass.
Bought it, love it, but hell, there is a looot to learn.
Did I mention I loved it ?
How can you set to show the shutter speed (ss) in the lcd screen (I already set the screen display shutter to ON), in aperture priority.
Nice refresher coyrse
Hi! I think I broke my front command dial/wheel… The one you can change to ss or f. I tried both ways and only rear dials work… i don’t know what to do

the eye cup should be round not rectangular! When in portrait orientation wearing glasses is gonna be a bit annoying !
nolaPIC its rect. and not round for a reason, so it doesnt get in the way of the EYE SENSOR, or the hot shoe OR the LCD display
now that that "mystery" is solved……….
Can I ask if you know where I can find the tiny screws at the base of the camera near the 1/4 20 screw ???
Hi,
we would suggest you contact your local Fujifilm Customer Service for this type of requests.

Without knowing the full settings, it may be tough to tell why it would be that dramatic. Have you tried Performance mode to see any improvement?
I was shooting at iso 100 10seconds f14 probably about an hour after sunset. I just had it at standard performance mode.
Hi Mark, can you describe weather conditions...temperature etc. The Fuji Guys would like to try to duplicate what you are describing. We appreciate the feedback.

Hi Michael. Thanks for asking, but there is no way to physically lock the SCM dial and no way in the camera to isolate or ignore that setting.

Action distance settings reminds of street photographers who set a general distance to the camera which speeds up the final focus.

Yes there is manual control in video recording with the X-T2.
XT2 have Bluetooth devices installed?
Hi, would you recommend single point for landscape? I want everything from front to back pin sharp
With the firmware version 4.21, multi flash is available. Recycling times will depend on the flashes being used. Cheers!
+Fuji Guys Channel many thanks guys!
May I know if there is any news about graphite silver version for X-T2, please?
Sorry, but we're not going to comment.
can't wait to get mine
The AC wall charger adapter for the grip only charges the grip batts-- you have to remove the grip to get the main or 3rd battery out of the camera itself and charge it via the conventional charger. But most people do not mention this. USB charging is not recommended, use the Fuji charger for single battery charging.
What lens hood are you using in this video??
Thanks for asking Maximillian. The lens hood Jerry shows at the start and end is the optional LH-XF35-2, metal lens hood, that fits both the XF35F2 and XF23F2 lenses.
Thank you!
very well done
Hello Fuji Guys, what are reliable options when it comes to External Recorders for the XT2? Which models recognize or work with Fuji's F-LOG?
Can you validade any of the below?
- Atomos Ninja Flame
- Atomos Shogun Flame
- BlackMagic 4K Video Assist
Thank you
no need to post twice, we read all the comments! The Atomos recorders are supported and work great. We use that for our videos. We are sure you it will work with BlackMagic, we just have not
tested that setup.
Fuji Guys Channel Awesome. Thanks guys
i think I've been convinced by everything I've read and heard about this camera.
Will you guys do a video on the Fujiflim X-A3 when it comes out this October?
Absolutely! We are currently putting things together for our X-A3 videos. Stay tuned (If you aren't already, why not subscribe and you will be notified when new videos are uploaded.)
+Fuji Guys Channel Thanks :) and I will!
Ta da! Here's our first look video for the X-A3.... ua-cam.com/video/qYFrIbji4jQ/v-deo.html
+Fuji Guys Channel Thank you sm! ^_^
Fuji Guys Channel, so if I do that for the sync speed, is it locked always or just until the camera is turned off?
Fuji Guys Channel, just did it and tested. I see that with that locked, I cannot change the shutter speed when I change to T. 😓
Thanks.
I want to do slow motion 120fps with my xt2 is it possible?
The highest frame rate on the X-T2 is 60 (59.94) fps in HD. (29.97 in 4K).
Thanks that is what I thought. If there is any firmware update about that, please tell me ;) Bytheway XT2 is an outstanding camera. It is by far the best price quality on the market, keep on doing this work.
Thanks for the feedback. We're not able to comment on any potential firmware updates.
Thanks of the video.
Thank-you for watching!
Hey man,
I did the update on my Xt2 and now I'm having problems with some functions. Do you know how I can get back to the old firmeware? . Thank you
Hi Lucas, can you give a quick description of the issues? Some may be because of a feature changes. To reviert back to a previous firmware, you will need to contact the support centre closest to you.
Thanks for the quick return. The problems are that some functions do not happen. The dial may be in video or double exposure or anything else that does not work. The camera does not turn off and I do not see the photos on the card. That would be the problem ....
And when the lens is on the camera the setup menu some ... = s
Thank you so much
Try reinstalling the firmware....If the problems persist, best to contact our support team in you area for more help.
Fuji Guys Channel hey, thanks man.
has the eye detection been improved compared to the x-T1's?
Many of the AF speeds have been improved, including eye detection and focus.
it would be interesting to see if it's actually working properly now! Maybe next video huh? :)
Eye detection AF is one of the improvements in the new algorithms and has been improved!
why nobody is mentioning it or showing how better it works now? That doesn't sound to reassuring IMO
All current content on the X-T2 is pre-release, firmware so it is difficult to demonstrate at this time. It is the algorithms that were refined to provide more accurate results. There are so many improvements over the X-T1, that we try to focus on the features with the most impact.
Do I need a UHS 3 card for best video results or is UHS 2 enough? Thanks!
For recording movies, use a card with UHS Speed Class 3 or higher.
the screen is only 920.000 dots? only?
If you are on all manual settings, values will not change, it is just showing you the change in the amount of available light.
very helpful thanks
muchas gracias.
It looks very flimsy. When he pressed the ISO and SHUTTER dial locks the whole dial moved off axis. Is he pressing a lot harder than he needs to?
yes
Yes, $2000 in cash laying here now to buy XT2 and vertical grip ASAP. Come to daddy
Lol
haha, i want that 23mm 1.4 on this!
Still think it needs a better grip :D, just alil more to hold.
Thanks for your feedback. It's always a balance between affordability and performance.
Flog to SD, it's a must!!!!
We agree! Thanks for the feedback!
Great feedback. We have heard this before and have asked for this as well.
Hi Jerry, will Fuji be releasing the XT2 in graphite silver?
We can't comment on anything that's not officially announced.
great thanks
when is the X-T3 coming ? I really like fuji lens line up, before investing on lens, i need to know if fuji has any plans in future releasing still/video balance camera? For now i rent X-T2 when needed for still. But video it lacks many features, Internal LOG, 10bit codec and 4k60fps and 4k crop factor. Canon and sony withhold/divide best features across many cameras. Nikon don't bother about video guys, its clear. Panasonic is doing all it can for video, but 20mp!!. Now only choice is fuji with good sensor size and great inherited colors. 24mp is good enough but need better video specs.
Thank you for the feedback! Sadly we cannot talk about unreleased products or firmware.
the x-pro2 is 1.6 million dots an the x-t2 only 920.000?
Jerry mis-quoted the number for the X-T2. The X-T2 is actually 1,040k (just over 1 million), the X-Pro2 is indeed 1.62 million.
You still can't check focus in playback mode using the joystick button?
When in playback, to zoom in to the focus point, press the rear command wheel. From there you use the joystick to review other areas of the image.
Thanks for the video, cant wait for mine. One thirty twoth.....LOL!
Hi Jerry,
Watching this video together with my brand new Fuji X-T2 it is very helpful and fun, learning a lot and want to share my experience about the yesterday bought Fuji X-t2, my
first impression. For first I kept my Nikon D750 and the 50mm f/1,4
because I didn't know what to do.
Why I making this step? Simple..I got massive back-problems, and
the lenses from Nikon (14-24/24-70/70-200 all F/2,8) are just to heavy, I
cant drag those any-more, therefore I sold my Nikon D3s and D4s and
yesterday my last from the Holy trinity the f/2,8 14-24 with a big knot
in my stomach :(
I like the building quality from the Fuji X-t2, the dials and body are
full metal, makes the Nikon looking like a Chinese plastic cheep ass
camera (sorry Nikon)
The Fuji X-t2 is a bit smaller because it is not a SLR, that means its
missing the mirror and working with a display, and just that display is a
horrible thing, I hate that a mirror is way better!
Of cause the buttons and menu layout is frustrating me, I got use to it,
the Nikon's handling blindfolded, now every step is searching :)
I got the Fujinon 10-24mm F/4, FULL METAL and very light, beautiful
little lens and unbelievable good building quality and very sharp, it
got image stabilisation! (I didn't notice that in the first place) This
combo is a winner for me, the weight from the NIKON 14-24 F2,8 is equal
(or more?) to the weight from the Fuji X-t2 with the 10-24mm attached!
And the picture quality from this combo is better than the Nikon D750
with the 14-24 f/2,8! Talking about ISO 200 max 800. I didn't have the
time testing in higher ISO.
My second Fujinon is a mistake, the f/1,4 35mm, the picture quality is
really outstanding, but the focus is very slow, way to slow, and behaves
like a toothbrush krrrrr....krrrrr I hate that.
At least 3 battery's is what you need, equal to one Nikon! And for
people with big hands like me, buy the grip like I did the MHG-XT2, or
the battery (BOOSTER) grip VPB-XT2 what's to heavy for me.
The sun is shining today, I going to play with my new toy, bye! :)
Thanks for the feedback. We hope you enjoy using your camera!
Wow!
They are not for sale yet smart ass ;-)
Good vid though !!
Wow this camera is packed with technology, i have decided to sell off my Sony a7ii and lenses to purchase this. Hopefully it will be good enough to so I can sell my Canon gear also. But I use the Fuji still doesn't have the telephoto lens selection yet.
Thanks for your feedback. We are continuing to develop our lens lineup.
Fuji Guys Channel are you guys going to make a fast zoom lens like sigma 18-35 ? I just bought the xt-2, but I don't see many options for low light zooms with ois
I thought I'd be interested in this camera until I found out it didn't have body stabilization. I like the lens selection and user interface but without IBIS, I'm not interested.
flash system is really improved
Hi, I'm thinking about buying a Fuji XT-2. What is the best quality produced by the camera, Raw or JPG? Thank you
The Jpeg's are absolutely beautiful. The RAW will give you more information to work with. It really depends on what your workflow is. Sometimes the Jpeg can be enough. The in Processor Pro does provide the best conversion to Jpeg, especially for the Film Simulation.
Is the camera covered in real leather
No. The cover material is synthetic.
Is the strap real leather?
The strap of the black version is made with synthetic materials. The strap of the Graphite Silver edition is leather.
I sold all my Canon gear and I've been shooting Canon for over 20 years!
Very informative video.
no i dont want dent my glasses. keep this material!😎
Hello, Jerry.
is fuji ever going to have a graphite silver xt2 ?
fuji needs to enter the modern world of cameras and give us touch screens like every flagship camera on the market except fuji. 1DXll. 5D4. D5. EM1 ll. GH5. new haselblad X1D. Sony A6500.
a touch sceen doesnt take away from using your dials. it just ads functions like touch focus in video. makes it easier to view photos and go through menus. fuji needs to wake up. the camera world wants touch screens
The Xt2 n, did not iphone its a very good device the button it or it all the touch on a camera I say no a breakdown and hello repair and fujii for the photo that the best it has 100 time experience in this field
No. Dials are the best
That thing is gonna sell like hotcakes.
No, I have not bought my X-T2.
Stop comparing to the X-T1. I never had one, so these comments are irrelevant and meaningless to me. The run through of the various menus was way too fast to follow. I was never sure what your fingers were doing to choose each menu, so slow it down and explain, explain, explain!!
Thank you for your feedback. If you have any specific questions we can answer, don't hesitate to post them here!
This video is just too sloooow. 32mins! I don't have that much time. Please make it more snappy. Bye...
Thanks for the feedback.
You should be more concentrated and focussed if you do such a video. Interrupting and correcting yourself all the time or searching for words, is kind of annoying. Other than that, very nice cam!
Thanks for the feedback.
Thank-you for your feedback.
