  • I tend to go on rants pretty regularly on stream, and I usually get my point across but obviously playing and talking can be tough.
I was asked to put this on UA-cam so here we go, be gentle in the comments.
    Love you all

YT player is better than Twitch for the sole reason you can rewind and go back to stream freely. But the chat experience and frame positioning? YT is centuries behind Twitch here.

The cat zoom ins are important.
Make sure to harass Harstem about coop in Atlanta.

How old is this rant? Didn't twitch say go ahead and stream on both at once a while ago?
And as a viewer, UA-cam is much better than twitch, because I can pause, rewind, and then jump back to live at any time, and the video quality looks a lot better to me. It may not be better for you as a streamer, but for me as a viewer, I'm watching ESL Atlanta on YT exclusively and not Twitch, and will always watch the YT live stream if I have a choice

@@UpATreeBTW, I'm not arguing that your perspective is wrong, just providing my own. If the API sucks for what you need, and chat is wonky, these aren't things that impact my use, which is 90% stream on TV and chat turned off. We have coexisting differing opinions, and hey that's cool :)

Legit callout that the main guy from twitch dogfoods the product. That's invaluable.

Having tried both, I prefer UA-cam, with the caveat that I am absolutely not a streamer and usually get 0 viewers. On UA-cam my viewers already know what to expect while on Twitch it was a lot more random. I do have a big project I want to work on and stream the whole thing, and honestly I'm torn between the two; I can't imagine trying to deal with multi-streaming.
