Am I the only one who think that Desi's foundation/base ALWAYS look flawless? Even when she zooms ind, it looks so smooth, and that is rare. Many make-up artists make-up may look great from far away, but it's not often that it's THIS flawless zoomed in! That's one of the reason why I really enjoy her channel, her techniques are great if you ask me :)

Yeah me too! I was so confused when I saw this look on snap I was like my phone must be showing me wrong colors cuz mauve is more of a light purple and I can only see browns (well at least in french, maybe that's different in english ?). Still love the look tho. Everything looks nice on Desi anyway ^^
Mauve is a pinky purple-ish shade. She's using mauve-y brown tones. Just like how you can use warm red toned browns, gray toned browns, etc.

I have really long lashes and find it's way easier to put on falsies before putting on any mascara. Just because all my own lashes get in the way so much 😁
Maybe try and trim the lashes so that you actually make your eyelashes look fuller not necessarily longer

I thought I was going to get a mauvy makeup tutorial using purple. But, no she catfished me to get here
Nadege Materania mauve is actually a shade of brown with pinky or purple undertones. She just used mauve shades that have less pink or purple in them, plus she has a deeper skin tone so they don't show up very pinky on her anyways.
I've been noticing creasing with concealer with certain clients with more aged skin....I use NARS creamy concealer and I usually bake it. However I feel like the powder makes it worse....any recommendations?
Bipper12987 I have that problem with the NARS Concealer on me. I think that formula just doesn't work with some people. I personally have had the best luck with the Tarte one or the UD Naked Skin. Maybe the formula just is a no-go for them too.
Sarah Walker I was thinking that. I also have been using it for so long and I noticed now that it's winter and my skin is dryer I'm getting more creasing as well.
