This show changed lives and how women view themselves, their bodies and their sexuality.

Each character was different; all individual in their own right. The audience resonates with a particular actress, but that doesn't mean the other actresses are any less accomplished.
This historical biography most importantly: Gave me the background of the four principal actresses, to prove that even before their initial success with Sex and the City, that acting certainly was their primary motivation at an early age, regardless of what the future had in store for them. (Thus, now they are are all "A List" given the work they put into their careers over their lifetimes, all deserving of their success, and the low-key modesty they tend to exhume when interviewed is just a sign of the professionalism that they all have had and developed, over time.) Combined with all the other supporting actors, writers, directors, producers, and crew and the timing of the series debut during the Womens' Movement into the 21st Century, allow for the arrow to hit a "double bullseye", when it comes to this kind of story and the relevance of the topic, within its genre and within its particular era. In short, everything about Sex in the City came together with using the right type of people in the right place, at the right time. Strange, that someone like myself would find so much within such a series like Sex and the City, but I do. Women wanting to open-up their lives, yet still cooperating with men at the same time, I think, is a beautiful thing. So long as it is realistic, individually, and productive for society, as a whole. And, as a side note, I can easily see why the filming of Sex in the City was highly popular in France, when it was done by the cast and crew. A more open, progressive female lifestyle, coupled with fashion would all be more universally accepted by most upper-class Europeans, and enjoyed. (And any true romantic would "always have Paris" in their heart, regardless.)
That train wreck last year, with the comeback season, ruined my life. Everything good that was S&TC was utterly obliterated. Sadly, I spent the 90s watching a bunch of eventual sellouts. Now when I think of the show, I'm disgusted and want nothing to do with it. Kim Cattrall is the only one who saved face.
I am a big fan of SATC. I believe Kim has an alfa personolity and she knew her impact on the show. Let’s be honest, without Kim Catrall, sex and the city would not be SATC! She was everything in this show and she asked for it. I am not blaming her for that, and deep down I believe they really had good chemistry. But money and bossy attitudes can ruin any friendship.
It's called *"Sex and the City - Kiss & Tell"* all hardcover book. My BFF got it for me as a bday present that I still have until this day in pristine condition. Unfortunately, it is OOP & finding it is expensive & maybe hard to come by. I did find one on Ebay going for around $80 & on Amazon for around $485. 🤯
Timeless entertainment this show is. They captured lightning in a bottle that no other show of a similar nature could replicate. These four women are the only ones who could've played those roles, especially Kim Cattrall. What an icon.
The second movie completely sucked and almost ruined Sex and the City for me. Little did I know, And Just Like That would finish off the job. Kim was smart to stay away from that dumpster fire.
Kim’s fiancé refusing to let her do the show and her doing it anyways is definitely a Samantha move😂 they were right when they said Kim was the only person who could play her.

Combined with all the other supporting actors, writers, directors, producers, and crew and the timing of the series debut during the Womens' Movement into the 21st Century, allow for the arrow to hit a "double bullseye", when it comes to this kind of story and the relevance of the topic, within its genre and within its particular era.
(And any true romantic would "always have Paris" in their heart, regardless.)
the series is the best thing i ever seen
That train wreck last year, with the comeback season, ruined my life. Everything good that was S&TC was utterly obliterated. Sadly, I spent the 90s watching a bunch of eventual sellouts. Now when I think of the show, I'm disgusted and want nothing to do with it. Kim Cattrall is the only one who saved face.
It's a different world, and one's 30s are very different to one's 50s. Shouldn't be expecting everything to stay the same.
That re boot is a total disaster. Why did they have to ruin the memory of the original show? Ugh
I get ya, 100%

Unfortunately, for $$$$
😮😮😮😮😮😮😢
I agree, the remake episodes were horrible, especially with Big.
Let me guess, it was a male critic that said "women don't talk like this"
This is one of my favorite series ❤💄💋👠
Girls just want to have fun was my fav sjp movie 🥰
No mention of the movie "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"?
Please upload the ETHS of Melrose Place
Kim Kim Kim!!!❤❤❤
I'm intrigue to know what the book SJP and Cynthia are holding at 1:07:21 any clues?
It's called *"Sex and the City - Kiss & Tell"* all hardcover book. My BFF got it for me as a bday present that I still have until this day in pristine condition. Unfortunately, it is OOP & finding it is expensive & maybe hard to come by. I did find one on Ebay going for around $80 & on Amazon for around $485. 🤯
Best show ever! I still enjoy reruns and I’m sure I always will. They were ahead of their time.
Interesting. I had six seasons of the series at my old house! When I moved, I couldn't bring them with me!
😮😢
HBO Max saves the day! 😊
Why couldn’t you bring them!! 😮
Why don’t tell about the cast problem’s between???
4Eva my fav & comfort show ❤❤❤❤
Timeless entertainment this show is. They captured lightning in a bottle that no other show of a similar nature could replicate. These four women are the only ones who could've played those roles, especially Kim Cattrall. What an icon.
Wow. So many wonderful trivia. 4 ladies that changed my life and my late teens forever…. ♾️‼️❤️ Always my favorite series ❌⭕️🌹
What year was this?
Samantha/ Kim Catral was the best
🎉🎉🎉
다 챙겨봤었는데 또 보니 반갑수다
The uncircumcised association. 😂😂😂😂
A movie SJP was in and it’s actually a favorite of mine is Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
It inspired me to try the Cosmopolitan 😊
Now that we know the abuse queen Kim endured makes us all love her even more
The second movie completely sucked and almost ruined Sex and the City for me. Little did I know, And Just Like That would finish off the job. Kim was smart to stay away from that dumpster fire.
Agreed! COMPLETE DUMPSTER FIRE!!!!
It is ROAD KILL!!
Omg yesssss, thank you for this channel haha take me back 😂🥰
Kristen so beautiful woman Like omg, actually they all are so beautiful 😻
I Wish it would be included in Netflix/Prime :(
I miss this documentary on E so much
