Morning my friend, the build is coming along very nicely, you have done well with the PE, the only issue I have with interior detailed kits is, you won't be able to see a lot of it, but such is like, extremly great work, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Morning, Les! Thanks for the kind words! I appreciate your feedback on the build and the PE work. You're right about the interior details-sometimes they get hidden away, but I enjoy adding them for that extra touch of realism. Also the interior can add to ones knowledge base of what these things were made of . It’s all part of the fun! Best regards to you too, and I hope you're enjoying the modeling journey down under!
Why does the nozzle have to go on the upper side? If the seal is loose or it pops open not all the contents are lost. Details. Thinking like the crew. That's awesome.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’m familiar with Tamiya and Mr. Color metal primers - both are solid choices for prepping surfaces. But in my experience, everything tends to flake off eventually, so I’ve found it easier to stick with paints like Vallejo or other water-based acrylics. Their plasticity seems to work best for me with minimal issues. Appreciate the tip, though!"
Building all these miniart kits, what are you gonna do building a Tamiya or another company's kits? You wouldn't know what to do. Lol. But every video you do, reinforces why I don't build miniart kits. Haha. As to burnishing fluid? Use it after you put things together. It doesn't harm the painted parts and it will darken the PE without you handling it. I did that once and it worked far better. Now? I just use it on tracks.
Haha, I know exactly what you mean! These MiniArt kits can be a handful, that’s for sure. Tamiya kits are fantastic - I’ve built plenty over the years, starting with their Sd.Kfz. 8-ton back when it was a new release in the ’70s. I remember that one well! But maybe it’s just my build style that gets me into trouble with all the extra parts and detail. As for the burnishing fluid.... I guess you can tell how I feel about ever using that again lol
I like the way you said ‘grab a seat…’ just as you were literally grabbing a seat 00:50
Yeah, that was by pure accident, but it worked out great

You never know until you try and thank you very much

You know, I didn't think of that. I was just basically following the drawings in the instructions, but yeah, that may be a good reason.
You could use Tamiya or Mr Color metal primer it's clear

I think you would’ve been much better off taking that turret base off?
I’m sorry I don’t follow what you’re trying to say
