I’ve been chronically ill for my whole life. I’m 18 now and have been looking for videos about a health bullet journal for months. Thank you for the candidness and inspiration. Hope your health journey continues to get better!
RN here. I’m so proud of you. Your motivation and dedication are over half the battle. Make it fun! It’s all a part of self love. You are an A+ patient 🤍
My husband was type 2 for many years. He got sick of taking the oral drugs. Gave up carbs, lost 50#and within 6 months a1c was back to normal. It has been over 10 years. The carbs are what raises his a1c. So our lifestyle just had to change a bit. Worth it to keep him healthy. You will be fine! You can do this!!
As an RN of many years who did a lot of teaching, you are attacking this perfectly. What works for one of the "internet" experts does not work for all. One diabetic can eat something and see no spike in numbers while another could see a huge spike. Exercise is great for some diabetics but for others, it can send their blood sugars plummeting. You do you. This is not only a physical disease, it is also mental and emotional. Spikes in BS can affect your emotions. Tracking every activity, food, beverage, emotion, sleep hours, etc. is a gift to your care providers. And, it gives you more knowledge and control as to how each nuance effects you. Kudos on the nap insights- this is a great form of self-care. Instead of framing things as fails- think of them as opportunities for improvement or learning. If it didn't work, it isn't a fail, it is a learning experience. Go You!!
When I had gestational diabetes 10 years ago, I learned that for every minute of walking, my number would go down by 1. So I started taking a little 15 minute walk after my meals. It helped me so much to stay on target. Thank you for the reminder that we need to take care of ourselves. I’ve been so tired lately and know that diabetes runs in my family. I got a treadmill and started walking yesterday. I’m on day 2 and feel great. 😊 My problem is consistency, so keeping track in my pocket TN is going to help. 😊 You motivate me!
Just came across this and wanted to encourage you. Back in July my doctor noticed something in my blood work. She sent me to see a Nephrologist, which is a kidney specialist. In October I was diagnosed with IgA Nephrapathy which is an autoimmune disease that attacks and destroys your kidneys. I'm currently stage 4, stage 5 is when they do dialysis. Since no one understood what I was going through emotionally, physically and mentally, I started journaling. Since I don't like writing on blank paper, I decorated it with many items. Over the year, I've poured out my heart in this journal and it has helped so much to be able to go back and see when what things were happening. Keep it up, don't get discouraged. This is a good thing.
This experience is going to help a lot of people not only with managing diabetes with a planner but also ways to set up a tracking system for nutritional health!!! Love it! ❤
I love your idea of taking pictures of the new foods you try so you can remember how you liked it and what the carb counts are. We’re here for you to cheer you on as you work towards controlling your glucose. Glad your numbers are lower than they were before.
Love your ability to say "I own my shit." I am also dealing with a very scary health condition caused by my actions. I completely understand what you're saying, and I admire your transparency. Much love, we got this! ❤
Firstly, thanks for being brave and sharing this because most people won’t. Second, I’m so glad you’re taking your diagnosis seriously because a lot of people don’t listen to their doctors. Can’t wait to hear how the doctor reacts to your journaling. 😂 I think you’re doing a great job recording what you need to in order to help you stay on top of it. 😊
You can take charge of this and be well. I’ve been a Type 1 for over 50 years. I have none of the frightening side effects you may have heard of. Continuous monitors, glaucous testers, all can help you live a long happy life no matter this event. Sending thoughts of strength, affection, and power to you.
I was diagnosed about 6 months ago. I have heart disease so that and diabetes go hand in hand and my PCP has been watching my A1C for many years. Knowledge is power and your tracking is going to make you successful. Thank you for sharing this video Robin.
I hear your anxiety in your voice, sis. You can manage this!!!! You have all the tools you need and what a blessing to have a wonderful medical team and support system. I think it is brave and important that you shared everything with us - people have been reached because of your content. Much love to you from this RN who thinks you are a WINNER!!!! ❤
This was awesome!!! thank you you're hilarious. Like in a good way 🤣 "my doctor's going to be like what the heck is this" 🤣🤣🤣 "I'm just going to put some candy and cupcakes there beside my grocery list???” 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
Oh I love that idea! I use quotes to help me stay on track….even learn and repeat during day! This UA-cam is one of the best I have seen. And your success here, will promote your diabetic Win!
Absolutely fabulous!!!! I'm sitting on my bed, watching your video and clapping for you at every single statement you make and at every single element of your health journal. I was also diagnosed T2 Diabetes in 2018 and put on insulin injections straight away. Like you, I accepted that I, and only me, had gotten myself into diabetes. I'd been bullet journaling so I used a blank notebook and started my first Health & Wellness bujo. My doctors actually loved my journal because I tracked everything like you and I could easily explain my numbers and answer all their questions. I've kept a health journal every year since then, even though I reversed my diabetes in 2020. Because I still struggle and I must remain vigilant. I also agree and appreciate your comment on being honest with yourself. Transparency and accountability with ourselves is crucial and keeping a journal and tracking is key to developing those habits. I love that you've noted what your triggers are. It's with the help of the journal that I figured out that anything nutty is a huge trigger for me Anyway, I can go on forever. I'm really gushing lol. One thing I do in my journal that I'd suggest to you is what I call Observations. Every month, or every two weeks, I note down a key observation. For instance, I was doing OMAD and I really like my morning cuppa tea with milk so I experimented with breaking my fast in the morning, having a meal over one hour and then fasting again. Well, I discovered that breaking the fast in the morning made me lethargic so I noted it down and moved on. Over the course of these years, I've noted and indexed numerous observations and it helps because sometimes I forget and need to remind myself. I do a full monthly review at the end of every month etc. Good luck on your health journey.
first time watching and for the first half of the video i didn't realize cooper was a pet, i thought you were just sharing that a person in your family had diarrhea and i was like "does he know you're making this video?" 😂 but thank you so much for uploading this! i've been wanting to make health trackers and it's super nice to see something that's been used and hear your thought process on how you designed and modified the system to fit your needs/wants.
As someone with Type 1 diabetes, I track almost all the same things. And sleep is one of the most annoying issues. My blood sugar affects my sleep, and poor sleep affects my sleep. Also note it isn’t just the hours but the quality. You’re doing great. I use the PTD and the timetable I use for tracking insulin and blood glucose levels at meals.
Thank you so much! I have been trying to track my husband's care this year in my Hobo. He has Type 2 diabetes, Heart disease, stage 4 colon cancer survivor of 15 years. And in November was diagnosed with Parkinson with early dementia. On top of that I have Systemic Lupus. You have given me inspiration! I do not feel as overwhelmed with all the ways in tracking. Again, Thank you!!!!
It was really valuable for me to see what someone taking this on with their whole heart looks like, my family all is diagnosed with diabetes no nobody takes it on and changed their lifestyle and they’ve all suffered for it- I’ve always wanted to do better but have no example to follow Thank you for being honest brave and transparent when examples like this are hard to find
Sorry to hear. This but you can control this with meds and diet as you know. I love that your dog g this and sharing because you will help other out there maybe struggling with this perhaps what you share will give others the strength to follow uour way j. Health journaling to help them selves through their journey. Love you and take care!! Blessings!!!❤❤
Thank you for your honesty. It really is a challenge as I get older. I am not diabetic yet but I have been on the border for years. I really have been checking my glucose often as my hubby is diabetic. It won't take much to cross the line. My gramps was a type-2 and was able to reverse it with diet and exercise. I know you can do this! One step and one sticker at a time :) You are an awesome gal!
My Optometrist urged me to get checked cause my eyes changed 3 years in a row. So sleepy and dragged all day. Discovered whole food plant based diet, intermittent fasting and Tai Chi, walking, dancing, etc. and was able to stop Metformin and BP med. Gotta stay on it, though, or my glucose starts climbing. That’s what works best for me but there are many ways to manage this disease. Wishing you all the very best!!💐
Yes totally agree with Melissac8492 I have a freestyle libre 2 /14day. I’m not sure what your meds are but I’m surprised they are not bringing your fasting numbers down quicker. I’m just saying that from one diabetic to another. You are doing a great job at documenting and tackling it though.
Thank you for sharing your story and inspiring people to take control of what they can in their self care and medical journey. I'm a creative person too and I enjoyed watching your tracking process. I think you hit on a wider group than maybe you intended. I'm not diagnosed with anything...yet. But I'm afraid my current ways will take me some place I don't want be if I don't change them NOW. This will be more of a wellness journal for me to help me get back on track. Thank you again for inspiring me. ❤
Thank you for sharing all of this and I am so glad you got checked out when you did! Yu will do great now that you know what is going on and have your support system and tracker.❤❤❤
I don’t know why but your video popped up in my feed. I am currently working with a doctor to figure out my situation. I appreciate that you are transparent and thank you for sharing the video and layout. An idea for a protein drink could be Core Power or Fairlife Nutrition plan. They are super yummy so may work better for you.
As someone who has multiple health issues including borderline pre-diabetes an a caregiver for someone like u with type 2 diabetes I only wish I was as organized as both u n my aunt u got this if needed take one day at a time do what's best for you n yours no one else's opinion matters
Your video popped up in my feed, and this is the first video of yours I have ever watched. 👏 👏 👏 B.R.A.V.O to you for taking control of your health!!! Thank you for being extremely vulnerable in this video. One can hear it in your voice. Your braveness and honesty WILL help others!! This journal is awesome, and it sounds like you DO have great people helping you along your journey. I wish you all the best!
I have also been diagnosed with TYPE 2 Diabetes and am SO GLAD that you have offered to share your journey! I am using a Hobonichi Day Free for my health journal.
Thank you for sharing your health update. Just remember, if the trolls decide to infest your comment section, you can always disable the comments on this video. Hopefully you won't have too. You are definitely on the right track for success. You having an amazing support system will help. The health journal a brilliant idea. I love how it is set up. They are currently out of stock. Hopefully they will restock soon.
I loved your “sneak peek” 😁 I’m glad you are now tracking carbs, as that’s what causes glucose to rise. My son was dx with Type 1 when he was 13 (20 yrs ago) so we had to learn a lot about diabetes. Another good thing to do is use a food scale. It is very helpful to know true amounts of carbs. Love you Robin. I’m glad you said it’s per person because all medical stuff is different for everyone.
Sometimes you do get just what you need, when you need it. You've done that for me. Thank you! As I listened to your story, I was a bit slack jawed at how closely your journey paralleled mine (diagnosis that shouldn't have been a surprise, beloved pet becoming chronically ill at roughly the same time, etc.). I swept through all the emotions again and am once again at the "I can damn well do this. I don't want to die," portion of the program. After the diagnosis last May, I was right on point, watching my carbs, logging my eating, recording my readings, etc. My 3 mo. A1c reading dropped to 5.7, I'd lost over 20lbs despite eating protein like there was no tomorrow (hey, better than carbs, amiright?). Yeah, I got cocky. My setup was on the computer. Since the computer isn't convenient (it is not with me, need to remember to go into the spread multiple times a day), I slowly I slacked off of recording. I started to notice my weight inching up and the more frequent "higher than I'd like" glucose readings. I realized I had to get back to it. So, I decided to go analog and searched for diabetic journaling in UA-cam. This popped up. This layout resonates with me. It makes sense and I do believe I can keep it up. You sounded so much like me ("actions have consequences," "I can't be trusted with these," "be sure to follow *your* doctor's advice"), you were so open with your situation (I wouldn't care who saw my weight or readings, either, if it could help someone; pooping is a part of life) and, most of all, you made me laugh out loud. Repeatedly. I know this was TMI from an internet stranger but I did want to thoroughly thank you. Thank you!!!
I have type 2 also and just had an endoscope and colonoscopy and got some news. I am currently on 11 meds (wow) and desperately needed to find how to make a journal to help me keep track of everything and I ended up here.. diabetes is hard. I have neuropathy in my legs and hands and now apparently in my bowels. I just need help on keeping track.. so, I'm watching this video. I hope things get better for you and thank you for this video 🤗 ❤
Thank you for sharing your health journal. It’s going to be incredibly helpful to so many including me. I had open heart surgery six months ago for a congenital heart issue. My sweet friend gifted me a eating journal but it’s really big and bulky. I have to be on blood thinners now for the rest of my life and I MUST think about what I eat. I can empathize with the shock and slap in the face. I hope I can find this planner. Thank you for your creativity and details. You’re helping me and this is encouraging that we are not alone in tracking.
You just popped up on UA-cam today and I love to see what people are doing for health. I’m 55 in Australia and procrastinate, hate on myself and my eating habits are terrible and really only I can change that. I absolutely love how honest, up front and real you are, it’s refreshing and I truly appreciate that. Love your set up and your mind set. So glad I found you today, you have my encouragement and support on your health journey and thanks for the inspiration 😊👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇦🇺
I also have a chronic illness. I not only have to keep track of my food intake but my bathroom habits also. Felt so icky to be writing that stuff down at first, now it's just another thing. Take care. Glad you are doing better. ❤
Im so happy you are sharing your health journey. As a long time Chronic Pain sufferer (CRPS/Fibromyalgia/Rheumatoid Arthritis), it is so helpful keeping a journal to show you and your medical professionals what has been happening. Nothing worse than getting to your doctors appt and not being able to remember it all and also leaving and forgetting what you wanted to tell them. You got this girl! You are doing absolutely everything to help yourself. Wishing you love and light my friend and hope Cooper gets better too. I had my little puppy in the ICU a couple of weeks ago and nearly lost her due to Gastro with blood in it and it scared me soooo much but I am like you doing everything in my power to ensure my puppies and my ragdoll are keeping well. Lots of love from Australia
Praying for you! There's a long history of Type-2 diabetes in my family, so I know it's possible to control the condition and continue to live a long, healthy life after the diagnosis. You certainly have the right attitude!
I'm in 100% support of your journey! I was diagnosed with POTS at the end of 2023, and am also having to really work on my lifestyle. Tracking for the doctor is so important! Last year I was using hobonichi A6 for it, and it helped a lot with getting my diagnosis and showing where I was at with different interventions.
I lost my husband a year ago to failed organs that really started with diabetes years ago. He had a very bad health scare in 2019 and we both worked diligently on altering our diet. I lost like 20 lbs but he only lost 10. However from being on a much healthier diet, his labs improved. Then he got really sick a year ago and had to have surgery for an abdominal mass that wasn't cancer. He took a turn for the worse, it was just too hard on his kidneys and liver in his 70s. The diet is everything! Keeping track, you aren't going to have a problem. I know for positive you have to watch what you eat in the evenings, try not to eat too late. Even some cherries or grapes for a late evening snack would send his fasting blood sugar up. It is indeed a lifestyle change, my heart is with you! I'm also back to trying to get the rest of my weight off because although my labs are ok, I know the symptoms he lived with for so many years and recognize it as early warning signs. Yeah, sleep is huge! Light moderate exercise is helpful if you can do it. Primarily, it is all about what you are eating. Good luck!
Thank you for sharing your planner and your journey. I am also diabetic and have been too complacent but am now trying to start tracking all the things like you. I am horrible at tracking things!
You are on the right track - especially with journaling and tracking your numbers. I have had Type 2 Diabetes for about 10 years now. The medication they had me on.. didn't agree with me and when I stuck to the 45 grams of carbs per meal and 15 grams of carbs per snack, that my numbers stayed high. 2 years of that and I cut my meals back to 30 grams and cut out the snacks with only an occasional cheese stick or veggies & dip my A1C numbers consistently stayed in the normal to pre-diabetic stage.(Approx. 8 years now.) Dr. were surprised I could do it but you learn what works for your body and then you make it work. I recently had a scare with my heart and now daily track my blood pressure numbers and with adjusting the medication, the dr. realized it was messing with my kidneys so there again. keeping a journal and tracking water became important. Learning what works for you is your biggest key in getting healthy. I, too, have learned there are just some foods we can't have in the house because it's too much temptation. Things with high fructose corn syrup are addictive! Also, when the numbers are a bit too high, walking.. even if it's just in place or any exercise will lower my numbers a bit.Thank you for sharing your story and how you have made your journal work for you. I am going to add a few of your ideas to my journal. Best of success on your Health Journey.
Another thing to watch, there are foods that will tell you so many 'net carbs' because of the fiber. My type 2 diabetic friend almost ended up on insulin with Type 1 Diabetes because of it. When you learn how your body reacts to different foods, you'll learn if those foods need to be tracked by net carbs or the total carb count of it.
Thank you so much for sharing this. My numbers are now in the pre-diabetes category. You give me hope I can get some level of control in my life. I use a bullet journal regularly, and plan on incorporating some of your ideas into it for tracking. Keep us posted on your journey.
I’m so sorry you are going through such stress with you and cooper. I pray you will stay strong and achieve your wellness goals! One bit of “advice”and maybe you already know, but if coopers meds are also human meds, you might be able to save some money gettong them at your local pharmacy with Good RX. I save on my dog’s meds that way. Hugs and I’m glad you updated all of us, it can really help someone else! And inspire them to maybe go to the doctor too!
I reacted just like you, I denied it, cried for days, it doesn’t run in family, all the resistance. Thanks for sharing your journal. You got me thinking that I should be doing one too,. Do you have the Pookie Bear Cuties glucose meter stickers, they are the cutest! I use them in my on-the-go planner. You got this!
I was just diagnosed with HYPOTHYROIDISM and PREDIABETES so this is an excellent video for me and let me just say I TOTALLY understand what you're going through... sending lots of love your way
💕💕💕💕 thank you so much for your vulnerability and honesty. I was gestational diabetic 24 years ago. I was in denial forever. Honesty with yourself is the key for me. I love all the details in your journal!!!! I believe it will help you keep focused and on track. Remember there will be ups and downs mentally emotionally and physically. Always remember YOU ARE ENOUGH💕💕💕💕💕
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing. I too am a type 2 diabetic. It is hard to become used to saying it and to keep it under control. One point i ended up in the ICU for several days because it went out of control so bad. I am sure you will be just fine.
I'm super proud of you for owning up to your health conditions, your numbers and your personal stuff. That is hard to do!! I have several health conditions, also might be pre-diabetic--so no lectures from me. I'm cheering you on, and I want you to succeed and have a long happy life!! Big hugs!!! ❣
We’re all here for you! You are strong… this is a hurdle you can get over! You are blessed, you are loved and I say KUDOS to you for being you and being open!
I understand what you are going through - my father and several of my friends are diabetic and my father has diabetic neuropathy -- basically he has no feeling in his feet except for when he gets sharp shooting pains. He mostly has his glucose levels under control but he still has issues from time to time with it getting too high. He has a Libre sensor so he doesn't have to poke himself to check his glucose levels and it's nice because it sets off an alarm when his glucose gets too high or too low. I hope all goes well for you.
U can checck your glukoz more often, morning hungry after 2 hours breakfast, before lunch etc and your doctors will love that notebook, i am a doctor and diabet patients log is importans to us😊😊😊
You have inspired me! I was diagnosed type II years ago. And recently my insurance has quit paying for my meds and I’ve gained a lot of weight back. I will start doing my weeks this way. Got to do better! We can do this!
Try contacting the company that produces your medication. Most have programs to help with medication costs. If you have already done this, then just be well!
I have tried to start a healthy journal 2 times since November but then I go off.. this was very inspiring Robin. Sorry to hear about the healthy issues but you are doing amazing, so organized!! 😮 Thank you for sharing 🤎😘
Would it be possible for you to share or track how your bs numbers are coming down. Are you having any side affects from the meds? Are you experiencing any weight loss? You are truly an inspiration and because of this video, I am sitting down and developing a planner/tracker/journal, using a lot of your information. Thank you so much for kindling a fire of self awareness to better health. I will be anxiously waiting for future videos!!!
You got this! I had insulin dependent gestational diabetes, hate the site of blood, and needles give me the icks. Once you get used to it, it becomes part of the routine.
Such a great idea to make a visual chart of food that you are trying. Lately, my blood pressure has been elevated. It's not high enough to start taking medication (thank goodness) so my doctor and I are monitoring it daily. So, I have to get right with diet and exercise so my pressure won't end up being an issue. You are tracking well...keep up the great work!!
This is so inspiring!!! I’ve been working HARD getting my diet to be ‘of the earth’ and this is the motivation I needed. Your journey is so important and inspiring.
I'm so glad you are taking care of yourself, Robin. Self care is so important! Thank you for sharing your strength and your attitude about your diagnosis. Prayers for you and Cooper. Also, thanks for recommending Planning with K. I have ordered from her a few times now since watching your videos. Take care!
Your video came up in my feed today and I am glad it did. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes years ago and recently things got worse and I really need to get a handle on things. Your planner is inspiring me to do something similar. Thanks you for sharing you journey. ~Crissy
Thank you for sharing this. That’s really kind of you. My health has taken turn and I think being more serious about tracking would help, but I am easily overwhelmed and seeing this made it manageable. Hope you’re doing well.
As someone who has had to been keto for almost 5 years cause I have chronic migraines. Something that can help you get in protein and keep you carbs low and get in a protein is finding a good protein powder that your like that and mixing it with almond milk…I actually mix mine with my coffee (the chocolate kind) to turn it into a mocha coffee
So much of this video reminds me of my experience with cancer. Thank the sky that I am in remission and had the medical resources accessible to me to get better; but there was definitely a time where I convinced myself I could make it go away by cutting gluten and dairy from my diet - not because I'm one to naively believe Dr. Google (because I would NEVER have allowed anyone else in my life to do the same), but because I was desperate to believe that it wasn't what I thought it was. So my heart deeply feels what you were going through.
Thank you for sharing your health journey. As we age and ebb and flow through life's seasons it is so difficult to make adjustments. You have all of my support during this time and cheering you on as you take control of your body and regain your health. The vulnerability you share on your channel is so courageous. You are amazing. ❤
I hope you keep up with the food tracking. Honestly. I started, and I was so diligent about it for about one, maybe two, months, and then the "novelty" of it quickly faded into the darkness. Good luck on your journey.
I've been trying to make one of these 4 months thank you for this video cause you gave me a layout which is why I wasn't doing it lots 9of the same issues
About 7 years ago, I had to stop eating sugar. Addiction problems run in my family so I don't make this comparison lightly at all, but sugar was the "drug" of choice to my brain. What you said about the protein bars was sooo relatable. "Well, just have a small amount as a treat." No, if I could do that it wouldn't be a problem, lol. I don't want one Oreo, I want to eat the entire package until I feel sick and then I'll still want more. 🙄 Anyway, my point is, giving up sugar entirely was way easier once I "detoxed" because I was never actually hungry, my brain just wanted sugar. Without that trigger, I eat SO much less overall and lost weight without making any other changes. Admittedly, it took a long time before I stopped literally DREAMING about eating cookies lol, but I am much happier and healthier now, so it can be done!! You already have that motivation and that's excellent. It sounds like you're doing a lot of good things, congrats because I know what hard work that is sometimes. 🎉
(Just to clarify, I am not saying YOU should stop eating any sugar, just comparing it to carbs or whatever else you determine is that "trigger" for you. ❤)
I have this planner, wanted to make a health tracker but had no idea how. Thank you for sharing your ideas and personal stuff. We all have stuff and you remind us it's ok. I am happy you found out when you did, have a wonderful Doctor and support system- what more can we ask for. You have a support system here as well. We share the same birthday, I am a little bit older- us Leo's are fighters after the initial shock wears off. I wish you nothing but positive vibes on your new health journey. ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing. Your transparency can help others. I love when we are open and honest. I’m also a diabetic. I’m 43, overweight and love food. I’m on 2 different meds for diabetes.
Thanks!

This experience is going to help a lot of people not only with managing diabetes with a planner but also ways to set up a tracking system for nutritional health!!! Love it! ❤

So glad you got diagnosed when you did, and have a great support system in place!! This video is more helpful than you know!
That empty page could be a collection of great motivational health quotes or tips
Good idea!!!!
Oh I love that idea! I use quotes to help me stay on track….even learn and repeat during day! This UA-cam is one of the best I have seen. And your success here, will promote your diabetic Win!
❤ Thank you for sharing. I'm trying to figure out how to set up my own health journal. This was very helpful.
I'm glad it was helpful!
Good luck on your health journey.
first time watching and for the first half of the video i didn't realize cooper was a pet, i thought you were just sharing that a person in your family had diarrhea and i was like "does he know you're making this video?" 😂
but thank you so much for uploading this! i've been wanting to make health trackers and it's super nice to see something that's been used and hear your thought process on how you designed and modified the system to fit your needs/wants.
I health planner as well, for two rare diseases, and the first time my doctor saw it he was thank God you have everything tracked…
❤ this. I have my own. It helps a lot. ❤
I have multiple chronic illnesses that I have to manage daily. Big hugs.
I’m so sorry. I hope this for you get better.
@@talksfromtheheart I manage all of it daily. They don’t stop me!
It was really valuable for me to see what someone taking this on with their whole heart looks like, my family all is diagnosed with diabetes no nobody takes it on and changed their lifestyle and they’ve all suffered for it- I’ve always wanted to do better but have no example to follow
Thank you for being honest brave and transparent when examples like this are hard to find
You’re so welcome. Maybe lead by example. Which is hard to do but remember you want to do best for YOU❤️
Nice job with your journal!
Costco may fill the other meds, too. It’s been helping so much, especially when you have reoccurring meds. 🙏🏼
Thank you for this and being honest & raw!
You are so welcome! I hope it helps you in some way.
Stickers are carb free so it sounds like the perfect way to enjoy some sweet treats! xo
I have diabetes 2 as well. You will be ok. I changed my eating habits and lifestyle too. You will be okay. Best wishes.
Thank you
Continuous glucose monitor is a game changer! If you don't have one give it a try if you are able to.
Thanks for the suggestion
I love the premier mixed in coffee with ice. ❤
I loved your “sneak peek” 😁
I’m glad you are now tracking carbs, as that’s what causes glucose to rise.
Oh wow! Good luck to you!
I don't know you... but you are in my prayers! You can get your way back to health! I know it! :)
Thank you so much❤️
Thank you for sharing. I have been looking for examples in tracking my health journey.
Thank you for sharing your health journal. It’s going to be incredibly helpful to so many including me. I had open heart surgery six months ago for a congenital heart issue. My sweet friend
gifted me a eating journal but it’s really big and bulky.
Oh thank you so much!❤️
I also have a chronic illness. I not only have to keep track of my food intake but my bathroom habits also. Felt so icky to be writing that stuff down at first, now it's just another thing. Take care. Glad you are doing better. ❤
Good job, share if it makes you feel better and it keeps you on track. Keep getting well and keep charting.
Get Well soon ❤
Thank you
Im so happy you are sharing your health journey.
You will kick this in the butt. ❤😊🙏🏻
Great video Robin. I too have diabetes and want to start a health journal now thanks to you and Cooper. God bless you both girl!,💓💓💓🙏🙏🙏
This has helped me so much. Thank you so much!!!!!!
I'm so glad!
Don’t forget to write down your A1C and walk almost everyday. You got this 💪🏼
That number is only when I have blood draws. Thx for watching.
Good luck!
I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s tough but hopefully you’re getting through it. Take things at your own pace.
Thank you so much for your honesty and transparency. This is seriously going to help me
😊
Thank you for sharing ❤ loved your planning system 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Bravo you 🎉
Thank you for sharing your planner and your journey.
My little dog Marilynne had her own profile/account at my local pharmacy under "Marilynne the dog." 😀💞
Thank you for sharing
I get Henry’s 🐶 Apoquil from Costco. It’s half the price!
You're doing it all right. I'd love to know what you cooked that didn't agree with Cooper. I've thought about cooking for my pup but a little worried.
@@CorbiesConspiracy I need to try that! My insurance won’t pay for “brand” name only generics.
@@taranickoledesigns3340 It's worth a shot, the worst they can say is no!
Thank you for showing this. I’m not diabetic but I have other health issues due to food and need to be tracking my fiber and protein. This is awesome.
I have tried to start a healthy journal 2 times since November but then I go off.. this was very inspiring Robin. Sorry to hear about the healthy issues but you are doing amazing, so organized!! 😮 Thank you for sharing 🤎😘
Thank you for sharing your story. I also have type II diabetes, and it is a very personal journey.
Be well, it looks like you are headed in the right direction. Take care and thanks for sharing.
Thankful you went in to get checked on. ❤ I was diagnosed as borderline 3 years ago. Stand strong we got your back!!
I hope you know how brave you are. Thank you for sharing your journey.
I’m so glad you’ve been able to create a system for yours and Cooper’s health 💜💜
Great! This makes it all worth it. Thx
