I am happy to share I passed the exam today as well (1st attempt and above target for all domains). This is truly because of Andrew’s training on Udemy. The material was so easy to follow. I compared learning PMP material through reading vs watching Andrews videos. I can recommend everyone to watch videos and take notes (learning through writing sticks better in your head). I can hear him explaining things while doing the exam. The materials that are attached in the training also helps to refer back to info he shared.
Most questions were on mindset, conflict management, communication and team management. I did not use the calculator during the test at all (I had all the formulas written down and ready to be used, but not needed after all). It was only important to know what it means to have declining CPIs and SPIs (for example). Anyway, thanks Andrew! Your videos helped me a lot, keep up the good work :)

I passed my exam last week too. I am happy I found your course and videos. Your mindset teachings made a big impact on me, and I doubt I would have passed the exam if I did not hear your voice in my head: "We don't go to a sponsor right away; we do not fire people...". Thank you, Andrew!

Thank you for your video! It's interesting and very well explained.
I liked a lot the one about laziness, so true :)
Regarding the fear of failure, on top of the fact to accept the possibility of failure, which could indeed decrease the stress level, I would personally add a couple of things such as:
    - planning the preparation work: having control over our study progress has a positive impact on the way we perceive the exam
    - adding a rest day to the plan: starting an exam fresh is already a way to relax, being exhausted the day of an exam adds to the stress. But of course this point goes with the first one (the more we plan our study time, the more likely we are to have enough time to take a day off before the exam)
    - add some relaxation technics: it may not work for everyone of course, but I personally found that using some breathing technics from mindfulness meditation has helped me starting exam session with a clearer and less stressed mind

One thing that can also contribute to failing is fatigue. Sitting down for that long and answering 180 questions can be very tiring. You end up reading questions incorrectly.

    Reason
    5. Read the right material
I must say your material is the best
    4. Lack of understanding of the materials
Google, UA-cam a lot when you need more clarification
    3. Exam anxiety
    2. Overconfident
Read every qn. carefully and pay attention to the situations
    1. Dedication
Unless you do not dedicate your time and mindset for PMP, it'd be difficult
I must say, I agree on all the 5 points

People need to have some entertainment or lets just call it "time to relax the brains. I've been studying for 3 weeks already for 1-2 hours and even more each day and you come to the point, when you brain is not taking the information anymore and you are just bored and not taking attention any more. Then you need to take day, two off, just to get the motivation back and that feeling that you want to study and get better prepared.
You also need tu turn off PC once in a while, because it's starting to lag and work slower if it's working for 10 days in the row... Same should apply to people and their brains.
And I'm pretty sure that we have all the mind diseases growing rapidly just because of that, that people are try to be productive 110% of their time...

Hi can you tell me what are the steps you followed to pass the exam

    • @jennifermorrison1185
      @jennifermorrison1185 Рік тому

@@sridharattada7564 I honestly used Andrew’s course to create my own flash cards - I literally made about 500 flash cards. I also purchased Andrew’s practice tests. That was really helpful because he breaks down why a certain answer is the correct answer. Just a side note: I think that Andrew’s practice tests are much harder than the actual test so don’t worry if you’re barely getting 70% on his tests. I think the most important thing is to follow Andrew’s directions throughout the course. If he says memorize something- do it. Also when you get to the end of his course there are sections that he says to listen to a few times the day before and the day of your test - do this! This kept me in the “mindset” for the test. For me I believe doing this made all the difference. Lastly I didn’t not read the PMBOK books. Andrew does an amazing job of covering what you need to know and half of my flash cards I made covered PMBOK. Side note: I did purchase other test simulators and other materials but they were not that good or very boring so I didn’t really use them - they were a waste of money. If you take his course, make your own flash cards (don’t buy flash cards -make them - writing down the material helps you remember it) and use Andrew’s practice test simulator - you will pass. Also print out all the reference guides throughout Andrew’s course - it’s a lot to print but as you’re listening to the material you can make notes on it - then go back and make your flash cards. Hope that helps and good luck!
