awesome hunt guys, everybody watching this video that hunts can relate to every scenario. turkeys have the knack for always coming in where you don't expect them too. but i swear i,ve never seen em come through briar thickets like that, that was almost unfare,lol! great video guys keep em coming. still got 3 weeks before our season comes in.
Just another arm chair quarterback here. Why not use a decoy on private land, for the youth hunt? Having the visual for the kids is half the fun. And it brings em in for a clean shot. Love these early season videos, same day
Because I real hunter doesn't use decoys or blinds......real hunters teach woodsmanship and fair chase. Not some goof using decoys and blinds to try to make up for there lack of knowledge and basic hunting skills
@@markhamblin8195That makes no sense. You can teach kids all those things while using decoys and blinds. Those things can make the hunting more fun, increase the odds of success, and if you are lucky, make great memories and hopefully a hunting partner for life.
So what about the use of red dots? Real men would use iron sights. Same with a rifle, real men wouldn't use a scope. Pretty ignorant way of thinking.@@markhamblin8195

Man they were on fire yesterday on the Ms river. I actually got my first turkey, we had about 5 turkeys roosted in the same tree. I was on the edge of my seat when Elizebeth was about to shoot that turkey in the brier patch. Great video

The biggest problem with the birds where I hunt, is that they're call and decoy shy. The only thing I can do, as a hunter, is roost them at night and hopefully get into the right position for the morning flydown

OMG!!! that guy is so impatient. You never call that much when birds are that close. Both times, if he would have shut up, they were coming, you can not rush them.
