For me its an 8.5/10 i enjoyed this movie a lot and if you're a super fan of Nicolas Cage you'll enjoy this much more also Pedro Pascal was a delight in this movie as well.

Just got out of the theater…absolutely loved this film! Well executed, well paced and the chemistry was phenomenal. So great how the actual film did exactly what The movie they were writing did with the kidnapping and devolved from a character driven movie into a cliche action movie.
Pedro Pascal is a great actor. He did an incredible job in Narcos. Ike Barinholtz is also pretty underrated. Not a huge Nick Cage fan but I'll probably watch it for them.

To be honest, i was actually quite reluctant to watch this because i was deciding what to watch after "Everything Everywhere all at once" a week ago and I couldn't decide if I should watch Nicholas Cage's new film or Fantastic beast 3 because it got a 6.6/10 review compared to "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" got a surprising 7.9 out of 10 so I went ahead with it and decided I'll watch Fantastic Beast next week.
Nic is becoming adored at the same levels as Keanu all of a sudden. With his endearing interviews and movies for the fans recently. I hope for a great come back but not a sell out come back.

I know he doesn't like the mythos around himself, but it's still cool Nicky Cage made this movie (hey, he said on a very recent wired video he doesn't mind being called Nicky). I liked that it was funny, absurd, and whimsical (I don't know I was trying to find another word for silly), but it still had a heart at it's core and really does subvert your expectations. I thought the trailers spoiled the movie, but they didn't they actually helped which is always nice. Great, fun, movie. The Theater I was at had a lot of people, too, which proves people just want to have fun at the movies so they went to see a movie where Nick Cage makes fun of himself for a couple hours. I guess those preachy agenda driven marvel movies that aren't hitting their expectations aren't because people don't want to go to the movies anymore after all. Weird.

We need a review from Joe about Renfield.. My only takeaway is I would've liked to see a lot more of Nick Cage in it, but personally I thought that it was a lot better than people have been saying it is. It looked like Nick was having just about as much fun in the Dracula role as he was in this movie.
The first half of this movie felt good, then it had some filler boring scenes that didn't serve much purpose, I felt they could have done so much more with what they had to work with. The last 10 minutes were alright, but overall I give it a 6/10. If the rest of the film was as funny and decent as the first half, easily an 8/10.
It felt so right and good to watch Nick on the big screen again. It's been a long time that I've seen an audience legit laugh *hard* out loud and I joined them.

I fkn love this movie tbh! It is on that niche bracket of cult-classic for me. Nothing too crazy but so good, consistent, smart and self-aware/funny! It is just like witnessing a piece of Art unfold on screen!
I usually disagree with Alex, but I actually agree here. It wasn’t a 10/10 because I just don’t feel it was perfect, although I admit it’s hard for me to nail down why it’s not. Still, great film.

Watched Con Air last night. It's such a 90s cringe now but I still love it. Lord of War is my favorite Nic Cage movie.

Just watched it. Was rather enjoyable. During the film i thought for a while when they were on acid etc that the cartel guy Pedro was secretly filming them for his script. But i was wrong. 😂

I fkn love this movie tbh! It is on that niche bracket of cult-classic for me. Nothing too crazy but so good, consistent, smart and self-aware/funny! It is just like witnessing a piece of Art unfold on screen!
This review has me even more excited for the film now I'll be seeing it tomorrow.

I usually disagree with Alex, but I actually agree here. It wasn’t a 10/10 because I just don’t feel it was perfect, although I admit it’s hard for me to nail down why it’s not. Still, great film.
I saw a pre-screen version a month ago. Imo it's a great film, especially for Nic Cage fans. Nice plot and the pacing was great.
