Hey pudgey asked the question of why did TOJI single out Megumi? Her explanation is wrong. The narrator said in the episode - “his fangs were constantly directed towards the strongest” TOJI didn’t target Dagon because he wanted to save the other 4. He targeted him because he was the strongest there. Remember, toji got rejected out of Zenin clan, the clan he was born in because he didn’t have cursed energy. He despised sorcerers because he was made feel less by his birth clan due to his incapability of having cursed energy and cursed technique. TOJI IS A WILD CARD. He then targeted Megumi , because after Dagon died, Megumi is the strongest out of those 4. Megumi is stronger than Nanami , the old guy and maki. And no, TOJI doesn’t remember Megumi. He doesn’t even know what he looks like. Neither does Megumi know that he is fighting his father. Both of them know nothing about each other. MEGUMI has a lot of potential. Even more than Yuji. You will see soon enough.

That's what determines their grade. Sorcerers grade are determined by the level of curses they can handle. So 1st grade can handle a 1st grade curse but it doesn't necessarily mean they're special grade level or hand handle one. Toji isn't 1st grade, he's special grade. Dagon is special grade. Jogo is special grade. Hanami is special grade. However, the only one strong enough and fast enough to fight Gojo was Jogo. And yet Gojo made him look like 2nd grade curse. Thats the difference between special grades. Naobito, grampa or uncle to Toji and Maki, is 1st grade level. Namami, is 1st grade. Maki is 4th grade but the ability of 2nd/1st. Then there's Megumi, who took down a special grade on his own and held off Dagon. He is 1st/special grade potential himself. Thats why Toji targeted him. He's the one who opened up a hole for him to enter. He's the one holding off Dagon instant hit and he's the one Sukuna asked why did he run from fighting the special grade curse. If you remember, Gojo clan ability of Infinity and the 6 eyes only lost to one other clan, Zenin and the 10 Shadows Technique. Megumi's Technique.

And jogo is stronger than dagon, the 3 can't do anything to dagon so jogo would've had an easier time as a result
Playful Cloud actually belongs to Toji originally, it's one of the weapon he stored in that curse worm of his it belongs to the Zenin clan. After Gojo killed Toji the worm gets absorbed by Geto with the weapons included, we see this in JJK 0. After Gojo killed Geto he took the weapon and keep it for the Gojo clan, he then lends it to Maki because she needs cursed tools to fight. So playful cloud being back at Toji's hand is probably part of his subconscious bringing himself to that weapon. That weapon is also unique because its only as strong as the user PHYSICAL prowess not cursed energy, its perfect for Maki and Toji especially Toji because he's way stronger.

Spartan, we do know what the pact yuji and sukuna forged. Its to allow sukuna to take control when he says "enchant" for 1 minute, however he can not injure anybody in that 1 minute. This time he could injure people because he was forced into control.

Yeah Shibuya arc shows you how outclassed the good guys are compared to the villains except for a few people like Gojo. Jogo gets clowned a lot but that's because before now we've only seen him fight against Gojo so its easy to forget that he and the other special grade curses are classed as walking disasters. The good guys got their work cut out for them cause the final boss showed up too 😂
i think those girls love for their step dad (Geto) took over their fear of Sukuna..which led them to make one bad decision after another...especially Mimiko. Can't wait for the next episode.

Absolutely love the power scaling here. It reminds me of HxH when Mureum and Netero fought. During that fight, you realized that everyone in the show was completely outmatched by those two alone. Something similar is happening here with Jogo. The dude has only fought Saturo Gojo the entire series, so he's somehow seen as weak. The fact that this dude has fought Gojo like four times and is STILL alive, really puts it into perspective as to how he can just sweep through three people the way he did.
Jogos strong in comparing to grade 1s but let’s not act like jogo survived gojo on his own accord, he got absolutely humiliated in the first fight and got his head cut off until hanami had to rescue him, and the 2nd time jogo was a non factor and was trying to run away from gojo after hanami got one shot, and was about to get killed after gojo killed the transfigured humans first before fake geto sealed him.

I don't think Megumi knows Toji and Toji knows Megumi just by the looks; Megumi was just a little kid when Toji died and even then Megumi have said that he doesn't remember his father's face. My guess is Toji just picked the next strongest between all four. I don't know Megumi's true power but even Sukuna somehow was aware of his potential and praising him if I remember right.

Megumi posseses the strongest technique and only one with Domain expansion - This show fooled you guys into thinking Nanami was anything other than fodder, he's at best the 2nd weakest 1st grade (1st weakest of the characterswe actually see fighting)....just like they tricked yall into thinking these cursed spirits are weak because Gojo made them weak. - LOL, Toji isn't 1st grade level......Toji is easily special grade level. He's physically the strongest in the verse and then he has an insane level 9f special grade weapons. - styles make fights.....sure most 1st grades (nanami, yaga) stand no chance, but people like Mei Mei and todo do vs special grades because of the8r abilities.
For power scaling I would put it like this: Grade 1 sorcerers should be able to deal with registered, normal special grade cursed spirits. However these sorts are MUCH weaker than Jogo, Mahito etc. The smallpox curse that Mei Mei faced is on the high end for a registered special grade. These curses have limited human speech and personality. The disaster curses, and Choso - who is half curse half human - are way beyond that. A G1 sorcerer is unlikely to beat them 1v1 on the lower end, or doesn't stand a chance on the higher end.

Damn! This episode was everything I wanted and more. From seeing Toji be an absolute beast and bodying Dagon to Sukuna being the monster of legend just brutally slicing and dicing everything. Such damn good characters and it really shows the difference in power between those two and everyone else. But why couldn’t Toji wait a second longer until Jogo got there 🤦🏻♂️ I can’t buy that we lost Nanami, Naobito and Maki like that. I’m decently ahead in the manga. This is the turning point in the series. We start to realize our heroes, protagonists, good guys are not as strong as those who oppose them. Things are going to turn on their head starting now. Also, my favorite thing about Sukuna is he’s not like a Kurama, where there was a possibility of co-existing with them for good. Sukuna isn’t here to save the day, or make deals, or trying to find common ground. He’s ruthless, he does not care if you live or die, whoever you are. (Except Megumi)

"I don't care if you live or die, everyone but him." and the Megumi shows on screen for a few seconds. He said something of the same in the latest episode, just didn't specifically name Megumi.
Toji went after the strongest, that’s why he went after Megumi, plus we all forget how strong Jogo is, because he is always fighting Gojo lmao, but he is the third strongest curse in the Show, he ain’t weak at all Also one thing that they won’t explain in the show, but domain expansion wouldn’t work on Toji, because he has no cursed energy so they domain won’t target him, so even without Megumi holding the domain Toji would still destroy Dagon
It is not going to be explained in this season. It has an explanation, but way later. But they left out the explanation of Playful Cloud being so effective in Toji's hands rather than in Maki's hands.
I don't believe Toji is actually there. They said his body took over the grandsons soul and won. So his body is just acting on instinct and attacking the strongest opponent he can find. Nanami was hurt from the fight the old dude lost an arm, and Megumi is strong , very strong infact. I don't think he recognises his son, its just his body acting on its own accord.

You just have to be tough enough to withstand his slashes to fight him or have a hax to guard against it like limitless. It's not clear though, sometimes we see him move his finger, sometimes we don't.

The grandmas's curse is making toji target the strongest person around, he decided that megumi is the strongest around so he targeted him. Thats it.

Damn! This episode was everything I wanted and more. From seeing Toji be an absolute beast and bodying Dagon to Sukuna being the monster of legend just brutally slicing and dicing everything. Such damn good characters and it really shows the difference in power between those two and everyone else. But why couldn’t Toji wait a second longer until Jogo got there 🤦🏻♂️ I can’t buy that we lost Nanami, Naobito and Maki like that. And what’s with that deal Sukuna offered Jogo? 🤨 Don’t know what’s going on and I love that. Can’t wait to see more of the madness that’s to come 👹

I’m decently ahead in the manga. This is the turning point in the series. We start to realize our heroes, protagonists, good guys are not as strong as those who oppose them. Things are going to turn on their head starting now. Also, my favorite thing about Sukuna is he’s not like a Kurama, where there was a possibility of co-existing with them for good. Sukuna isn’t here to save the day, or make deals, or trying to find common ground. He’s ruthless, he does not care if you live or die, whoever you are. (Except Megumi)

"I don't care if you live or die, everyone but him." and the Megumi shows on screen for a few seconds. He said something of the same in the latest episode, just didn't specifically name Megumi.

It is not going to be explained in this season. It has an explanation, but way later. But they left out the explanation of Playful Cloud being so effective in Toji's hands rather than in Maki's hands.

I don't believe Toji is actually there. They said his body took over the grandsons soul and won. So his body is just acting on instinct and attacking the strongest opponent he can find. Nanami was hurt from the fight the old dude lost an arm, and Megumi is strong , very strong infact. I don't think he recognises his son, its just his body acting on its own accord.

You just have to be tough enough to withstand his slashes to fight him or have a hax to guard against it like limitless. It's not clear though, sometimes we see him move his finger, sometimes we don't.
