@@runawaycloak1752 with jjk, its actually both in my opinion. jjk often does a bad job explaining stuff. its cool when you pick up something when you read between the lines but jjk often is very cryptic with explanations or wants you to remember stuff from 50 chapters ago without really mentioning them ever again. but a lot of reactors are very slow to pick things up. these facts combined make this show harder to understand, than it actually is

You have to understand that out of all of them Megumi is the only one able to open a domain expansion. Obv Maki can't and neither can Nanami or Naobito. And domains are the pinnacle of jujutsu sorcery. Among those 3 he IS the stronger option. Toji did not target him because he was his son. I wish people would stop underestimating Megumi.
21:15 I'm just going to explain it clearly. If toji hadn't killed himself there, he would have killed megumi. When he broke free of the granny's technique he regained his consciousness but that was before he killed the granny, if he had left her alive he would have remained conscious, him killing the granny absolutely messed up the entire technique and bound him to her final will which was to "kill, kill and kill". He was able to break out from the technique for a little period of time and had to kill himself before he fell under her curse again....
When Toji realized it was his son his first instinct is to protect him from himself, similar to the flashback shown. His wife told him to take care of Megumi before she died but Toji didn't think he would be a good father or be able to care for him so he initially tried to get him into the Zenin clan but deep down he didn't want his son to be a Zenin that's why he said he was glad that Megumi acknowledges himself as a Fushiguro (Megumi's mother and his wife's surname)
I think what Hanami said regarding Mahito being a mirror was in reference to him being born of humanity's fear of other humans - he's the only curse in Geto's group who doesn't represent fear of some type of natural disaster, like Jogo, Hanami and Dagon did.
Kusakabe is just realistic about his limits. He doesn't have a cursed technique, so he uses the new shadow style sword technique like Miwa. He can handle some high level curses (and easily knocks down two curse users in this episode when he gets serious) but he's way out of his league here in Shibuya.

I don't think so. Villain should be a character that makes everyone hate them. So far in the story, people like Sukuna. They don't even care about other character, when the MC got defeated in a battle, they expect Sukuna to came out and save the day. (Of course gojo would be a different case but we don't talk about the good guy here). IMO Mahito is the better villain in the story so far and for this season. Sukuna is evil, but he is everyone favorite loose unit. Fake Geto is just big brain villain that basically plan something something. Mahito in other hand, would be hated more soon. Of course Sukuna will have his time but it's still so far away from the story in anime. I think the right nominee for Sukuna is one of the most badass villain in the anime rather than the best villain.

U got to give Jogo some respect cause he fought 2 of the most powerful special grades. He fought Satoru Gojo and a 15/20 Sukuna (or maybe 16/20, depends on how many those fingers those girls put in Itadori when he was knocked out). Gojo said he was weak and Sukuna said he was the better ones he fought and the Jogo were strong. Both of them were playing around with him

Mahito isn’t the strongest. Jogo is. Mahito is still growing, they were just commenting that on how Mahito has the POTENTIAL to be stronger. And yes Jogo is stupidly strong. He just unfortunately kept fighting the TOP tiers like Sukuna and Gojo. If it was anyone else Jogo would have won.
Kusakabe isn’t really a coward. He is just logical. He knows that he has zero chance of winning against these spirits and prefers to not die rather than fight and be killed. As you can see he is more than willing to fight when he KNOWS he stands a chance. If anything he’s the one with more sense as you see the people who ARE actively fighting….are dying or just not able to finish the job themselves. Besides Yuji and Megumi beating that one old man earlier, nobody else has won a single fight. They all have been defeated rather easily and the ones that survived only did so due to other means getting them out of trouble. Nobara lost her fight against Haruta and only got bailed out by Nanami who couldnt even kill Haruta as you can see. Yuji lost against Choso and was only spared due to Choso having that moment where he received fake memories of Yuji. Maki, Nanami, Naobito all tried to fight ONE tough spirit and were going to die if it wasn’t for Toji, then they EASILY get taken down by Jogo. Megumi would have died if it wasn’t for the fact that Toji recognized him and killed himself to prevent his body from trying to kill Megumi. Everyone is out of their league here and Kusakabe knows this. Kusakabe even stated that he can sense everyone who goes down there disappearing and dying so he’s even more aware that going down there would be dumb.

You completely forgot that Toji is not in control he is now a murder machine, him regaining control was not permanent once he learned that Megumi isn’t a Zenin (which means he would’ve been sold to the clan if his surname was Zenin) and that he is a Fushigoro (which means he wasn’t sold to the Zenin clan) he offed himself knowing his son has a happy better life and to save his son from him.

She died and Toji felt useless again and didn't know how to love Megumi so thought it was best for his son to be sold off to the Zenin clan bc he felt like he'd have a easy life there if he was blessed with cursed energy. That's why he told Gojo about him bc at the end of the day Toji didn't want Megumi to go to the Zenin clan but didn't know of any other way for him to have a good life. He just didn't want Megumi to turn out the way he did. At the end of the day Toji loved Megumi but just didn't know how to love him. He died happy knowing Gojo took his son in and is living a good life. Toji probably doesn't want Megumi to know the kind of guy he was bc he didn't want Megumi to live in sadness so he thinks things are better off not saying anything. I also don't think Megumi ever finds out that was his dad. So Toji killed himself while he was conscious to protect Megumi before he went back to autopilot again. There's more details in the story but i believe thats the jist of the main idea of Toji's background. Sorry if I'm off a bit guys correct me of I'm wrong
I just revisted the fight between Jogo and Gojo in season 1 and there is an interesting contrast between the conversation they had then vs what Jogo had in the afterlife with Sukuna. Satoru Gojo diregarded Jogo and called him weak, which really triggered him. Meanwhile, Sukuna gave Jogo a modocum of respect as a powerful special grade curse which moved Jogo to tears. It's probably not much to say other than that it's an interesting dichotomy that really highlights how sentimentally grey JJK can be.
Toji killed himself to protect Megumi. This moment was the first time Toji was in full control. His eyes were white again as opposed to them being black the whole time before. So before he was just acting on instinct and recognizing his son got him out of that trance.
Yeah, Toji was only partially conscious. He was just a killing machine summoned to kill all sorcerers and target the strongest near him. He only recognized Megumi when he got close, and was glad when he found out Megumi chose to keep his mothers name instead of adopting the Zenin family name. Meaning that Toji's request to Gojo actually worked and his son ended up in a better place than he did. So he killed himself so that he wouldn't end up killing his son. Maybe if Megumi said, Zenin, Toji might have still fought him, but I guess we will never know. Plus a converstaiong probably wouldnt hold, because its not like Megumi knew it was his father. Megumi still thinks his father is somewhere else and still alive.
Love how you say death is mirror and mahito is that mirror which really means he’s a human disaster remember that the curses that jujutsu sorcerers have been fighting are curse disasters which makes them very strong dagon as the fear of the sea hanami as the fear of nature jogo as the fear of volcano eruption and finally mahito the fear of a human choso wasn’t included in the curse disaster since he’s a death painting
Toji was happy that Megumi use his mother's name "Fushiguro" just like Toji did. So when he realize that Megumi don't use Ze'in as his name (he still is part of Ze'in clan) he recognize his son and that makes him happy some way.
overtime is the name of the pact Nanami made with himself to get even stronger past a certain time in the day. he is limited in Curse energy all day until 5 PM. but is temporary its a burst and boost on his energy that remain active until he is juiced out
i believe toji didn't wanna be a burden for megumi and dump all that information when megumi clearly doesn't care about his dad when he's just been gone and killed himself before his killing instincts came in
The Fact Sukuna talk to Jogo like he's another kind of thing and he was able to enter into the "paradise" of Jogo....Is it possible that Sukuna was ....He could be the king of Curses, that doesn't mean he's a curse.
If Toji hadn't killed himself after gaining consciousness you know his just gonna fade Megumi and continue on a rampage to anyone who's accidentally in the vicinity until the host's body gives up.
You're correct i dont want happy and sentimental moments thats way too predictable. That was a great moment toji had. He always came off as being selfish but he saved his son by stopping himself. Simple and sweet enough And for nanami you can be strong and not want to fight nor waste your time. Thats not being a coward at all. Lol They rest their lives everyday by being jujutsu sorcerers.
It’s interesting to think if sukuna wasn’t in the picture at all , our hero’s would have most likely lost to jogo lol , due to gojo not being around . Sukuna took out the strongest threat for our hero’s and just leaves himself now

With how it's presented, I would say that Jogo vs Sukuna or Yuji vs Choso is better than Sukuna vs Gojo in the manga. Imo, the author did not write that fight that well, not because of the outcome, but how they're fight seemed just one sided.
Btw guys maki didn’t have a pack because she still has cursed energy she’s not like toji she has cursed energy she just can’t use her cursed energy like the others can she’s like a normal human being so she can’t have a heavenly pact cuz she didn’t have a restriction
I didn't expect Toji to go give him a hug, their last interaction was before megumi was even 6 yo, he had abandoned him to love with another child. I genuinely believe he didn't care as much about Megumi and what he cared about was the memory of his wife that always comes around when the topic of his son comes to his memory

Toji killed himself to protect Megumi. This moment was the first time Toji was in full control. His eyes were white again as opposed to them being black the whole time before. So before he was just acting on instinct and recognizing his son got him out of that trance.
Yeah, Toji was only partially conscious. He was just a killing machine summoned to kill all sorcerers and target the strongest near him. He only recognized Megumi when he got close, and was glad when he found out Megumi chose to keep his mothers name instead of adopting the Zenin family name. Meaning that Toji's request to Gojo actually worked and his son ended up in a better place than he did. So he killed himself so that he wouldn't end up killing his son. Maybe if Megumi said, Zenin, Toji might have still fought him, but I guess we will never know. Plus a converstaiong probably wouldnt hold, because its not like Megumi knew it was his father. Megumi still thinks his father is somewhere else and still alive.
