I’ve Trained In The Martial Arts From A Child To Present Day;. This Grandmaster ( Although He Says He’s Not Happy With The Title) He Is One Of The Greatest , I Have Ever Seen In Action. My Respect Grandmaster Teacher, Honour To You Sir,
The Chinese novel always describes the grandmaster who fights like the water flow but I can't imagine how it is. Grandmaster Bobby is the first one who made me think about that quote. impressive
this man is over 70 years old and still as fast and agile like in his prime
imagine Master Bobby in his prime wtf you cant imagine how fast he could be.
100% respect to Mr Bobby and the art of Eskrima👏 wow.
My son is taking stick fighting here in North Carolina. It has built his confidence. He was shy after coming to the US from the Philippines, and the training keeps him in touch with his culture. I have posted videos of his training.
That's awesome. I love doing this because it's a realistic combative art and not UFC sport related. I wish him progress and good luck. Greetings from fellow NC'er

Challenge RADEN RUNGKANG from indonesia..then you can't hold a grip of that stick of yours once the stick hit you in any parts of your body..you will drop it, i guarantee it..
@@ice2eyes875 I've seen Raden Runkang video it's very different style they have shield on them. I don't think he can with Grandmaster Bobby. Runkang is strong and brutal but lack of technique. After seeing Runkang video you can easily anticipate his next move. If they clash with Bobby Toboada in his prime Runkang will Lost! Because Arnis technique can be use in close contact fight. Raden might be stronger but Bobby is smarter.
Grandmaster Taboata is fun to watch ! He is a very good dancer as well .
ONE OF THE BEST FIGHTING ART IN THE WORLD!!! Im Proud to be a Filipino!!

@@aiko513 ,,,you and SimP Le are the breed of filipinos with "crab mentality"..why do you question a proud filipino? he has the right to proclaim it around the world...if you don't like it,, well, you are ashamed of your own race... and that is sad....

Best I've ever seen. Quick. I hope to learn his method.
This is what it takes to be a grand master, am an ardent fan of yours sir, thanks for posting such an incredible video
He trained me before...years ago when i was still young... YMCA days... He's just getting Better and better...
I only took a few classes in addition to 5 yrs of kenpo and was taught a basic stick fighting routine. I don't even know what it is called. But its also good for how to keep the blade of a knife forward facing. If anyone knows? I used that technique with my kenpo to defend myself from a 6 ft man that came up behind me when I opened my front door. I broke his wrist and was able to kick him back out of my house. I hurt him so bad with just the basic routine. I couldn't believe it was me. I could hear my Sensei say follow through, and thats what I did. It's bc we would practice it over and over so that it became a fluid, second nature movement.
He seems like a down to earth teacher, who doesn’t let his title or rank go to his head. I think I’d enjoy learning from him and would like to at least attend a seminar that introduces me to this martial art. I found this video intriguing and would like to see more.
Awesome promo here. Love it.
matter of internalizing the art and every move will become fluid and effortless. . mastery and awakening will just come
Damn! He's not even looking at his opponents move at times.
now thats a real master. a real arnis man knows how to disarm with one hand and can hit the sky and ground with ease.
Much Respect Kuya ....Salamat...
hey bobby its me cedric i hope you are well i am cant find mike to look at you again takes me back to fond memories of training just the three of us we were so lucky to have you to ourselves for so long all the best
I enjoy watching that guy,he is just awesome.
breathtaking!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Smooth and dangerous
I like that young pinoy, he's fast. He looks at the face of GM Bobby not on his hands movements. Awesome. 👍😁
I'm proud of you GrandMaster Bobby Ma'am unta mkakat on ko Ana Tudloi unya ko Master
Awesome speed! I’ve met him years ago. Thank you for sharing.Pugay!
Simply amazing to watch.
I've been training in Eskrima for years, not even close to his speed and he looks very legit.
Most high ranked Arnisadores dont have that speed and dominance in the moves...
Come on man, his started at the age of 12 now he is 65yrs, he been doing this for all this years. all he want to share his knowledge about one should know how the apply our awareness with experience and the hardwork with all together he want to show the real face of survival, such person can not compare with anything. i m happy that you're training is still on.
Thank you for sharing!!!
Perfect, the great master
The speed, power, and control as demonstrated by the grandmaster himself.
still working on mine but love his method

really good man ! THATS À MASTER
GM is awesome..
Legendary!
Nice to know that style... I want to experience it.
most legit stick fighting ive done seen.osssssssss.
master taboada no doubt the best in the business of wielding sticks. .despite his age he still possess the agility and energy of youth. .his motion, his fluidity were all borne out from perfecting and internalizing the art. .he could be the einstein of filipino martial arts.
Amazing, super speed.
My grandpa, Jose Villasin trained with the great Anciong in Cebu. His son, John V. trained me. Our variation involved kicking, punching and grappling. Oh the bruises that I sustained all those yours lol
@Ramstine....wow, ..you are connected. .. I trained with Bobby Taboada for a couple of years in New Zealand in the late 80's .....got to know him quite well socially too. Incredible guy. Such bewildering movements and skill when training...I lost alot of skin too ..and copped bruises ..we trained in my shed, with a coupla other students....concrete floor...no soft mats .. . no bullshit.... God he was dynamite... .Still takes my breath away to watch him on clips like this one....I've still got my old training stick to this day.. I miss that guy.....
this man is a legend in his own right
I am really interested the way you teach the stick grand master!
Wowww to the GRANDMASTER..!!🤩🤩🤩
They need to put this in John Wick 3
Wow , such speed ,!
I want to learn from this guy
Bobby , 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
In real life application, the fight will end really quick, it will take 1 or 2 block and counter, the routine training is for muscle memory only and takes a long time,
If you fight an ordinary citizen it'll be easy to hit your opponent but if you fight against a martial artist and he has knowledge I think it wouldn't be easy to hit someone who has the same talent
@@arwinbartolay309 even between trained sports fighters, street fights never last long. combinations rarely have an end, takedowns aren't pulled out off before over-committing, people are under pressure and will see whatever they attempt through. eventually, in 3-5s someone will make mistake, sometimes aggression switch side and another exchange follow for a 10s fight.
only case where a wild fight last long is when an actual grappler keeps it slow.
@@arwinbartolay309 sure if you're eyes are train to see the stick speed then yes.
when I was teenager, most of my street fighting rarely last 3 minutes, no holds bar, no rules.
This is a very close combat you cannot blink and you cannot slow down...
Watch a true master at work sharp
Forgive me but it all looks choreographed! What person fights by numbers?! Don’t get me wrong BOBBY is incredible!!
What you are seeing iis "choreographed". it is just training. Grand master tells you '1or 2 strikes, in a fight and its over'
I love it!
New subscriber full support here, God bless you brother
The speed..
I watched it on mute thinking that the beat of the music somehow made it look faster (because sound plays a big part in editing)...it turns out that it’s even FASTER ON MUTE. Damn...Grandmaster is FAST.
Looks like "played faster" but when you see the people in the background you see that this is not a manipulated speed by camera...
Like a children playing..
👏👏👏👏👏
Proud pinoy🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
grandmaster indeed
everybody thinks they are quick until they play with GM Bobby
Pagkanidot tan-awon! Pero sa competition murag nagbunal ug iro!
Do you have a participant in this year's SEA Games?
Bobby Taboada of Filipino Martial Art Arnis is like Ip Man of Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Yeah, they both teach flashy crap that doesn't work in a fight.
@@Colimarche I would think twice, if the police struck you with that baton it's over isn't it? Unless if Hava a gun, be careful it's legal to carry sticks and some are retractable polymer plastics, so yeah its very applicable but faster takes you 1-3 hits then its over and very painful.
Wow
cara ele é muito rápido !
Morpheus needs this discipline in the new Matrix movie.
You can't learn eskrima without the teacher personally...
👍
in real life fighting it must be sword/bolo this kali uses by philipine military.
that dude has a very fast hands.
A lot of people here our country more thn him
if the grand master pursued boxing as well, i believe he would have been a great boxing champion.. just look at his speed even as with his age of 71 yrs old....
How do I buy dvd regarding the grandmaster Bobby ?
Grabe ka paspas...
please slow training watch
around 1:09 that kid is good! keep it up!
Tried to contact Bobby to see what contacts he has in Australia and have had no response, guess nobody in Oz is doing Balintawak
Como chama isso ??? Por favor
It is very difficult to see the coordination of the accion need to be slow to understand the steps
How to call this school, please
Do you have a school here in Cavite Philippines?
This man is beaten by the real fighter
Where he teach here in US?
This martial art is legit. It can be used in a street fight. Surely u don't want to be hit with a stick. Its very painful.
