Why are you referring to her as a "young lady?" She is a wee girl! A young lady would be a teenager, close to adulthood. I prefer the word woman, as "lady" brings to mind old fashioned women before the Suffragettes started the first Women's Movement. Those women wore white gloves and sat around sipping tea, until they stopped being ladies and started a REVOLUTION!
@@hooleyqueen I know you are addressing Ms. Clarke and not me, but since I am in this thread I just got notification of your reply to her. Danny boy always made my gran cry because her only son died on manoeuvres in NI during WW2 . I think that little girl would have had her crying all week.
She has had me crying!
THANK.GOD for sharing with us your beautiful talent...YES in sunshine & in shadows OUR LORD patiently WAITS for our 💗s to LET HIM IN ....let us be like this Irish beautifiul child LEADS us to WHERE GOD awaits us in HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM...whilst we are pained & challenged by this present global crisis...let us marched w singing even w tears in our eyes...offering them to The LAMB who was slain that we may have REBIRTH or be TRANSFORMED w our RESURRECTED bodies on that day!!!,DEO GRATIAS
AMEN!
Makes me think of my dear grandmother. Rip Nana💚☘️
Beautiful rendition by a beautiful little child.
Beautiful little girl with a wonderful natural talent.
I hope you sing for all of your life. . God bless you
I'm from Spain, and being there in Ireland, 12 years ago...unforgettable land!!! Beautiful, ancient and mystic. This little and beautiful girl, represents the most wonderful feeling of the Irish people! Congratulations for her and her family, you have a treasure! 💟💟Thanks for shearing!
Who the devil puts a "thumbs down" on this? Well done that young lady.
It would be the devil's followers...those without the love of God. Too bad. They need Jesus.
People with a broken heart, hurt people. So please be kind with them especially 🙏 kindness can sometimes help them to heal their pain. Always remember that ♥
@@hannahoriginal4698 You sound like a sweet and compassionate person and broken hearted people desperately need that. Even so, broken hearted people need to be held accountable for their actions. This is a four year old….think about that. Some people are just plain heartless. I believe Daniel and Elaine were commenting on them. Would you advise us to show kindness to Judas or Satan? Look at the hurt they caused. Should we not hold them accountable? People who would hurt an innocent four year old in any way, shape, or form doesn’t get my compassion
@@pennyclark3356 okay... No one could hurt here. Everything's fine. I just wanted to say that in this case people probably disliked it because their hearts are hurt and closed so they cannot open them for the beauty of this video.
@@hannahoriginal4698 I am so sorry. I misunderstood the message you expressed so kindly. Thank you for the clarification. Still, it is very sad that someone would not keep their dislike to themselves…..especially when it involves a young child. I doubt she knows anything about it. I hope not. It could break her heart and crush her spirit
Beautiful. Touches my heart. Found it hard to listen to as my dad is now in heaven....his favorite song. He used to always sing it while doing the washing up.☺
To remember the lyrics is talent enough but the voice so pure and innocent. Thoroughly enjoyable don’t know when this was recorded but I’m sure this young lady has a great future ahead of her which should definitely be nurtured and encouraged. Well done young lady - those high notes 😳
Ms. Clarke; this was recorded just a few days before Emma Sophia's dear parents filmed this; in March of this year. Her mother Mary and Emma also recorded an 8 episode show during the lockdown. I have watched half of them, and need to finish very soon. It is called, "The Emma Sophia Show" and is the most adorable thing I have ever seen on the Internet. 😁 I know you would also adore it!!! 🤗🤗🤗 Best regards, Michael from Omaha 💖🙏 P.S. Her mama Mary is the violinist for the Irish Trio called "AFFINITI MUSIC! They are the sweetest and best band I have heard in my 70 years!!! 🍀💚💚💚
@@michaeltriba1307 Thank you for the information! This is delightful!
@@sunnyhill2250 You are so very welcome! 😁🤗 When I find someone worthy of sharing, I do not like to hold back. This is how I discover artists that are new to me as well. #sharingiscaring 💖💖
Google defines "young lady" as "a woman who is not far advanced in life; a girl." So I think that "young lady" well applies to Emma Sophia who is now 5 years old. Emma Sophia is very "lady-like" so IMHO it is a very sweet way to describe her. So is "wee girl" as you said! You are even worse than me in getting caught up in semantics and going off in a tangent!!! 🤣😂🤣😂 Cheers!
Watching again am miss Ireland so much it’s our favourite place in the world our happy place people are just the wonderful and heartfelt love this to just beautiful Ireland beautiful little Sophia. You are blessed with a beautiful child 🧒.Best wishes
Living in England, no Irish blood but have a brother living in Ireland with his Irish wife who is just the best, I have heard this song many times. It is not an easy song to sing but Emma Sophia .... Wow! You're family are obviously very proud and rightly so. Just lovely. Thank you.
In Dublin !! My Danny boy is my Favorite song, Emma Sophia I like it from a lovely and inspiring voice of a young girl,
May God bless you for a successful future
I do not see the relevance of the Irish blood thing in the context of the song, it has nothing to do with Ireland.
@@georgebarnes8163 I was merely making it clear that I am not Irish but have Irish family. This song makes many people think of Ireland. I was posting to praise and encourage a talented little Irish girl, that's all. What are you doing exactly?
@@alisonhenderson9839 Why would an English song make anyone think of Ireland?
@@georgebarnes8163 The words are written by an Englishman but the music is Irish. Frederic Weatherly's Irish sister in law sent him the Londonderry Air and he put the words to it. It's none of your business why it makes me think of Ireland but the fact remains it does.
Fabulous voice for a 4 year old, a talent beyond her years, many thanks for sharing
How she remembers the words is a mystery, absolutely gorgeous
it makes my Polish heart happy and joyful 😇
She articulates do clearly and sings so sweetly it would make your heart break.
Beautiful rendition of this classic song from a stunning location just a short walk from where we live 🇮🇪☘️
Where is it?
Lovely. Are you _allowed_ to walk there or is it beyond the five kilometer limit that the current lot of demented, degraded, and vile "leaders" have imposed upon the Irish?
@@helenwatkinson2261 old head of kinsale and Sandy cove kinsale, anyone can go there really
@@seanplunkett4154 thank you. Heading over there as soon as we can.
@@libertyfirst4083 I am very fortunate that this walk and several other beautiful walks are within my 5km limit.
You can feel Holy Spirit in this child. So lovely pure like heaven. Praise God.

That was my grandfathers favorite song...I now am 50, and have experienced so much loss in the last 18 months....this brought so much joy in my heart. Thank you, from the Rocky Mountains, in Wyoming, USA.
Hello how are you doing 👋☺️☺️👋😀😀
Sending lots of love and hugs from Ireland. 🇮🇪
This little girl is adorable and she knows how to carry a tune. She sings so beautifully!! That’s a touching song she was amazing.!
Maith thú Éama...
Emma Sophia’s rendition is “dedicated to everyone with Irish blood in their veins”.
...........🥀
I haven't got a drop of Irish blood in my body but my soul is Irish, I believe.
Does that count?
@@samsandi1470 Most certainly 💚☘
Thank you, I needed that... I’m a Lynch and McKenzie
Had an Irish G' mother, Nancy Frasier.
My mother is from Galway, I just discovered from ancestry. I was born in a mother and baby home. This song always gets me, crying and I don't know why, I am now 61 yrs old. Beautiful little girl
Emma, your love, light & voice is a blessing to us all. ❤️ 🎶 🎵
Those high notes nearly broke my glasses!
I have a teer in my eye, first it's one of my favourites, next, she is such a little wee treat. Bless her heart.
Emma you have been handed a great gift of talent by God. And I can feel the sweet spirit come through in your singing. I pray that throughout your life, you always give God thanks for trusting you with this gift, and that every day you ask Him to keep your soul and spirit clean and innocent to always keep that quality in your heart. It is the unheard part of the gift hidden in your soul that will draw people to hear your singing.
Amen!
Yes! Amen & Amen!!
Amen! That couldn’t have been said any better!! 🙏🙏😇😇
🙏
Well said😉
To capture the emotion of a song separates those who sing and those who are born to sing. Well done Emma!
I love the way she pronounces the words!❣❤💘💕💙💚😃👍
My grandfather sang this song constantly after his 2yr old son Daniel died, Daniel was the 10th child of 13Children. Great memories, and a beautiful voice Emma.
How adorable in every way possible... little baby girl...xx
I have heard this song sung by many adults, professional singers and those with ordinary people with great voices too...but this is the first time that i heard and watched a four year old girl sing this song and i felt like a little angel is singing, i was so touched.
Beautiful little angel with a beautiful voice.
What a sweet little girl. I loved this. Thank you so much for sharing.
