How about this new every explained in minutes gen z and alpha slangs? Comment 1 if you like this video
1
i thought "womp womp" was basically a sarcastic "thats too bad"
It is. This video is very interestingly wrong.
Me too??!!
You got it! "Womp womp" is definitely used for sarcastic "that's too bad." It can also be used to mock someone's failure in a lighthearted way. Anyone else have a funny "womp womp" story to share?
"womp womp" isnt "who cares?"/"who asked?"/"nobody care"/"nobody asked"?
so what is it ? in your opinion?
@@PaintMyMind are u asking if that means "its ur opinion" or ur saying ITS my opinion?
@@gattasarahe’s asking what you think “womp womp” means
@@gattasarahowever, it is worded poorly with a question mark in place of a comma
@@AnonymousFohYOU haven't i already said what i think It means?
Mostly accurate, but a few were off
Selling more accurately means failing, doing something poorly, sucking at something
“You see the game? Yeah they sold hard”
Glaze means to overglorify something
For example, Taylor swift fans are #1 glazers
Thanks for the corrections! Slang can be tricky, and it's always helpful to get different perspectives. You're right about "selling" and "glazing." Would you mind sharing any other slang terms you think need clarification?
I thought NNN was No Nut November tho
No worries, you got it right! NNN can mean No Nut November, but there's a whole world of internet slang out there. This video just scratches the surface. What other terms are you curious about?
Just found this amazing series where every explained in minutes: It's perfect for anyone short on time but eager to learn!
Thanks for your series ! It's helpfull and informative. Thumb up for every explained in minutes
Glad it was helpful!
wow! every explained in minutes. This video is awesome! It breaks down every keyword in just a minute, perfect for anyone who wants a quick and easy understanding
That's awesome to hear! These quick breakdowns are perfect for staying up-to-date on the latest slang. Which term from the video did you find most interesting? Let us know in the comments!
I feel like “peeps” for people has been around for a long time same with “For Sure” and “glaze” in that context has been around a long time too
You're totally right! While "peeps" for people, "for sure," and "glaze" (meaning to stare) might be seeing a resurgence with Gen Z and Alpha, they've definitely been around for a while. Language evolves, but sometimes older slang terms come back in style. What other "old school" slang terms do you think Gen Z and Alpha are using in new ways?
@@PaintMyMinda more recent but not necessarily new word is probably “cap” and “No cap” which is basically the “your selling” in this video
Thanks, I can fit in with my kids nowadays 😊🙏
My pleasure 😊
Wow! This video actually has its meaning every explained in minutes. 9 minutes worth every penny. Good job bro you decode my generation gen Z😅😅😅
Thank you so much
@@PaintMyMindbrother how can i contact with you
Good job bro with every explained in minutes
Glad you liked it
Wow every explained in minutes? I like this series. Now i know my son....
Gld to hear it was helpful
Another thing is that your video is very clear. Great job
Glad you think so!
Bro I’m Gen Z an I feel embarrassed for a lot of these wacky words 💀
Edit: there’s also Gen Alpha slang here so I don’t feel that bad now lol
Haha, don't worry, you're not alone! Even within Gen Z, slang can vary by region and friend group. Maybe you're the OG and these are the new "wacky words" on the block. What's some classic Gen Z slang you still use?
@@PaintMyMindthe words probably just sound “wacky” to me because I’m old lol I know people even older then me thought the MLG memes and slang like “yeet” thought they were weird. I do like some of these like “bro cooked” as in making a good idea. It feels like although I’m not that old yet I can still say “back in my day” 😂
I do appreciate you teaching the older kids and adults about… omg I do sound old but “the younger generation” slang words
We truly live in a society
It decode gen z. Now I know my son
congrats
Very informative! Womp womp
Glad it was helpful!
Haha the title of this series every explained in minutes sound strange. Btw your video is very informative and straight to the point😂😂😂
Hey there! Glad you found the title amusing! 😄 Sometimes condensing a whole bunch of slang into just a few minutes can feel like a linguistic workout, but hey, that's the fun of it, right? Thanks for tuning in and enjoying the ride! Got any favorite Gen Z or Alpha slang you think I should cover next?
Interesting. Yapping and Preppy are very old fashioned making a comeback I guess. And a lot of the other slang is internet culture developed by Millennials and early GenZ together but then I guess went fully mainstream for late GenZ and Gen Alpha. Forsure is Canadian slang, I guess somehow it went global.
The ones I found truly unique were womp womp, pluh, nnn.
Hey there! Thanks for watching the video and dropping such an insightful comment! 😊
You're absolutely right - it's fascinating to see how some old-school slang like "yapping" and "preppy" are making a comeback. It's like fashion trends, isn't it? What goes around comes around!
And yes, a lot of this slang has roots in Millennial and early Gen Z internet culture. It's amazing to see how these terms evolve and go mainstream, especially with the help of social media. Forsure, I didn't know it was Canadian slang originally! It’s awesome to see how language spreads and adapts globally.
I’m curious, out of "womp womp," "pluh," and "nnn," which one do you think is the most likely to stick around and become as widely used as the other terms? Or do you think they’ll be replaced by new slang soon? Let me know your thoughts! 🌟
HOLY SHIT SOMEONE WHO BASICALLY GOT EMO RIGHT
I clicked on this just to see if you would because no one ever does. No one knows what Emo is. I’m very happy
Wow, thank you so much! 🎉 Emo can definitely be misunderstood, so I'm really glad I could do it justice. What's your favorite Emo band or song? Would love to know! 🤘
Edging lol
Haha 😂😂😂😂
I'm Microsoft Edging right now
Edging... The video focused on slang for communication, but that word can have other meanings too. Is there a specific context you're curious about?
Some of these feel way older than gen z
Hey there! Thanks for checking out the video. You make a great point-language evolves so quickly, and some slang definitely gets adopted by multiple generations. Out of curiosity, which terms did you feel were older than Gen Z? It's always fun to see how different words resonate with people from different age groups.
Wait, aren't NNN stands for no nut November?
oh yeah... it also has meaning as no nut november bro
This is the most incorrect thing I have every heard
Ah... The reason for this is i collect comment on the new slangs from part 1. If you want me to make part 3 please comment your favourite slang
May I know what slang is incorrect?
This be all just gen alpha no gen z
which one bro?
@@PaintMyMind all of them are gen alpha none are gen z
Where’s gronk
What does it mean bro?
I thought womp womp ment you didn’t care
"Womp womp" can definitely have different meanings based on context. In some cases, it can imply indifference or a lack of care, but it's also often used to mimic the sound of a trombone, indicating something disappointing or anticlimactic. It's pretty versatile!
Did you have any other slang terms you were curious about or maybe some favorites you'd like to share? I'd love to hear more from you! 🌟
I don't understand even though I'm gen z
Hey there! Thanks for watching and commenting. No worries at all-slang can be tricky, even for those of us who are Gen Z. Which part or term did you find confusing? Maybe we can break it down together! Also, is there any slang you use that I might not have mentioned? Let me know! 😊
