I purchased so many of the “old” Dior quints and happy with them so I don’t see repurchasing the new ones. I’m very interested in the new blush shades that will be coming out. They look really beautiful!! 😊❤️

Hi Alli, I can’t wait to get my hands on the new formula to check it out! I want the Plum Tutu. I’m not a huge fan of metallic or even shimmer - I hope it’s more satin. I do have an oily crease, so hoping it does improve staying power. I won’t replace anything, but will try one. My days of ‘over-indulging’ are done. ❤
Same here Maureen! I think Plum Tutu looks amazing and I also hope that it’s more satin than shimmer.
I was able to leave an ‘alert’ on Dior website to notify me when Plum Tutu is restocked on line …so we’ll see.
If it’s smoky eye, it’s always Dior quint for me. The pied de poule looks good, but I don’t know if I want to run out the door and pick it up right away though🤷🏻♀️
That’s so fair! I’m waiting to see them in person and maybe test them out at the counter first.
I love the Dior quints! I am wondering if they switched talc for corn starch, which is understandable, I will give the new ones a try, and am particularly interested in the palettes that are combos of the older palettes. Thanks so much for this!

All very interesting. I did order the Baume as I’m a sucker for the packaging but, also because I can’t wear the Chanel hand cream as I can’t wear fragrance and this is supposed to be either unscented or very mildly scented (fingers crossed.). I can’t see using it on lips or body but thought it would be a fun summer hand crème.
I hope it’s wonderful! I think it is un scented so it should be great 🥰
In the EU it’s not legal to advertise what isn’t in a product so that might be why Dior isn’t saying without talc😊

@@lionesslux6816 Thanks. It seemed odd to me that they'd implement a law for that purpose but I can appreciate the attempt to fight disinformation, which is something that has become a serious problem
Thanks for the updates ... the new quints look more intense though maybe that's just the photos. The new eyeliners look amazing ... the baum is oddly tempting but the Chanel hand cream in similar packaging is so hard to dispense ... wonder if this is the same.
I thought the exact same thing about the balm. At least this one is more multi purpose but the shade looks so similar. I’m so curious about the new eyeshadows. I can’t wait to swatch them in person.

I’m with you, if I like new colours that have received good reviews, I will try them. So far nothing looks interesting or new. BTW, I know you’re not a Mac kind of channel but...I just got two of their new 6-pan eyeshadows and really like them. Will you try them?
Oh interesting Marjorie, I haven't tried any new eyeshadows from MAC in a longtime but I use to love their singles.
Plum Tutu doesn't seem that similar to either Plum Tulle or Tutu. I think they named it like that just because it replaces the other purple palettes.

Did u know Chanel changed the formula for the travel size bronzers removing coconut oil! I wonder why these companies change things. If anything is bad for our eyes or skin why do they put it in . Enjoyed this video 🦋
I saw! That’s the only thing that interests me in getting the new travel size bronzers because otherwise I already own one.
Or take out things that are good for our skin. I wonder if it is mostly politically motivated, based on what is popular for the moment? It might also be about sourcing ingredients too.

Me too but I've heard it's good.
Here 's a scandalous take I actually think the best eyeshadow palettes from dior were back in the day. I am talking about around 2008 to 2012. I loved them so much the formula and the color stories were way beter they were inventive and something special. Even lisa eldridge mentioned how good their formula was in one of her first videos. Now I find them to be okay and some even pretty but never the same as the original.
I agree. I also used it at my wedding 2012 - the baked gelée formular from the Dior Garden Party limited edition. Amazing eyeshadows back then.❤❤❤
Oh yes that was a beautiful quint and beautiful for bridal make up! I still have mine i can't bare to throw it away. I wish dior would go back to these types of color stories they were iconic as was the formula.
Oh interesting! I never tried that formula but if it was good enough for Lisa Eldridge I'm sure I would have enjoyed it.

It's a shame they are messing with a perfectly great eye shadow formulation that has depth and is not patchy. Dior's movement toward "clean" beauty is a slippery slope because diehard Dior users will see the difference. Clean beauty means shorter expiration, hard panning, patchy and chalky finish, more expensive.. and cheaper packaging.
