So that's what was inside this guys camp the other day 💀 I glitched into his house and I was wondering why he had a room full of traps
Im always putting my scrap in my scrap box before I fast travel then this happens to me and I laugh qt the person who's thinking their going to get my loot lol
It’s not even about taking someones loot... it’s about building/hiding a trap that works with creativity.

Easy way to fix the issue with trap camps is always make sure your junk is empty... They get no pay off and just waste their own materials.

If your camp damages a player, they should be able to start PVP against you or your camp. That inability to retaliate in game is why these are so cowardly and frustrating.
This game in general is terrible for PvP. It takes almost no skill and the combat is so wonky. They should just remove the feature and indirect player damage _(traps)_ entirely, at least until Bethesda knows how to balance PvP games.
That'll just make it to where I can destroy your base by standing on your trap...stop bitchin it's a fuckin video game

I'm so tempted to do trap camp. I think most I've come across have been very clever, and as I always store junk before visiting a camp I have no issues with them lol.
Funny enough, it makes want to store my junk. And participate being in the trap bases and then compliment the person who made the base and make them mad by applauding them and not ratting them out. I went into a persons base once after I stored my junk. I stayed at their camp for a little bit and explore their traps for fun
I got the idea of doing shelter gauntlets from a friend and needed deadly pitfalls to apply to it.

I am wondering if the kills count as player kills for the achievement in the game?
I can see that the idea is to make people angry and to see them try to get revenge, lol.
i got the player kills on nuclear winter, these trap camps are so obvious, i would never go into a tightly closed space with vendors in them,

i always look for fun camp destruction -tactics in such cases
can't think of any others except the bait tho
it is quite lame for sure to target newbs and that immediately brrings down the interest for this game with new players
for total newbies a tip: when coming out the vault always join a team, most players are not dicks, plus free travel to learn new places over the map fast
and faster xp-progress
and learn to add friends and do that always
these veteran players have tons of worthless plans and ammo and usually are happy to unload and clean their stashbox
plus getting a heart emoji back does give my battle-ridden cold heart a warm fuzzy feeling lol

So these are the trap camps in the game people are getting mad over and complaining about, I'm a new player and just realized what's going on now. Now I know to just use gas and train stations from now to empty my stash

Amen, unimmersive and contraproductive. People should rather gather in groups and do actual roleplay, than they coul live out their sadist souls the best, now they only try to manipulate the game so they can annoy ppl the easiest way, say what you want people but if you hate me for that you 're just toxic persons and I only hope that I will meet you in game and not other person who may ditch the game after you broke it for everyone.
@@GreenSabre187 most of these people are coming from the nuclear winter side of things--or they have a grudge against the game in general due to the fact that fallout players (For the most part) are decent people and pretty consistently declined Bethesda's encouragement to murder one another as opposed to play cooperatively.
They're not any good at actual PVP/FPS games, so this is kind of their way of trying to ruin the game for the rest of us and/or run off new players. (It's probably more analogous to somebody just going home and beating up their children because they had a rough day at work, though. I mean you can tell this guy is not exactly somebody you'd ever want to go have a beer with, lol)

If losing an inventory of scrap is enough to make a player quit they shouldn’t play online games where death by player is an option . I’m level 80 and still haven’t run into one trap base it’s very rare I’m also a builder and hop around a lot for plans.

Instead of sleeping bags you can use footlockers under stash. Makes the blueprints stackable without the extra budget needed 👍🏻

@@williamkosztowniak7617 The spike traps? If you switch your floors to the mesh you can connect wires through the floor.

@@williamkosztowniak7617 After it has power connected it goes off/breaks. You can either connect a switch to it or leave it connected to power just don’t plan on triggering the trap and having it stay up if you leave power constantly connected. After it breaks just use your camp box to fix the traps when someones inside and it goes off.

They dont ban for traps. Mostly duping & server crashing. Just dont use bad words when angry players msg you. That can get a ban

It won’t allow me to place walls with the trap there, how’d you do that?
The spike board under the punji stack. If you trigger it the stack should turn invisable, then you can add the walls, then repair the spike board & the stack will come back glitched in the wall. If it still works & was not patched.

Went to someone's copy and pasted version of this CAMP and equiped Light Footed. Walked past all his bullshit and bought some crap out of his vending machines.
We proceeded to nuke his camp because he was AFK. Folks too lazy to gather their own junk...

As someone who's played too many JRPGs, you would never catch me unprepared before fast traveling to any camp.
Lol this happened to me, dude thought he was the ultimate troll, being that he robbed a level 48 and he was a 147. Wasn’t even mad, actually it was pretty damn funny how desperate a level 147 has to be to reach that point
It happened to me once when I was like level 7 I think. It was probably the same guy.
I hope he enjoyed the broken telephone and two scraps of wood that he was able to steal from me, lol. But I guess if you're completely incapable of playing the game legitimately, then you try to figure out a way to steal from people, right?
And then I guess if Mom or dad didn't show you enough affection when you were a child...you take that thing that you should have been ashamed of, video it, and present it to the world as if it was "content."
Again it's a shame that he can't use any of these resources to somehow afford IRL therapy for whatever it is that makes him feel the need to prey on those new to the game like this.
This just happened to me too. Lvl 9 looking for potted plants plan so I go to a lvl 600 base with tons of plans. Insta dead and then I see he has a sign outside "a base you can trust" lol 🙄. I guess once you're that lvl you are just bored and sit there for people to come by idk. definitely worth waiting for a plunger and a chess board tho - he got some good stuff 🤪

They walk down the hall and rub 100 spikes in the wall. Use the black camp thing to repair all every few kills. They slowly break with use.

the only issue i see with this is once someone goes thru and dies they damage the spikes, then when the 2nd guy comes in they can see the health bars of the spikes thru the wall and wont go in. maybe thats only an issue on xbox idk, also im not sure if its different on PC or not but on xbox u cant repair something until its completely broken. aside from the glaring health bars visible thru the walls this is hilarious and does still work. had a level 400+ run straight in and die lol cracked me up, then him and a level 900 started throwing grenades in the camp so I swapped camps, still pretty darn funny (the guy only dropped like 4 acid so idk why he was so butt hurt)

@@no.springs im not butt hurt, it was hilarious and a fun little camp to build. im only saying it doesnt work well because u can see the health bars after the first person goes in. if u could read ud know that I toggled to a diffferent camp and they didnt blow up anything. was a fun little experience. I was just saying its not that good of a trap camp, its all in good fun, trap camps are great.

Trap camps are fun. Love the creativity put into them.
The only plus of this video is that it educates about this problem and the reasons why it is better to store junk at the base or throw it away. Thus, it’s easy to let such nice players lick the balls 😂
