The gentleman is Fabio Rodrigues who is a fabulous guitar player from Brazil. He usually sings falsetto so yeah this really wasn't his forte but he just joined Allie's set in the evening. The band behind them are the #Buskateers as you can guess from the name are also buskers in their own right. Whenever Allie does an evening set, she brings a couple of mics in case any of her busker friends want to join in. It's just done for fun and the crowds love it...keeps the kids off the "streets" too. Allie just loves to entertain. Once Allie turns 18 she will be doing a lot more to further her music career.
Allie has always had that cry or yodel in her voice and has leaned over the years how to control it and has been an Allie trademark that makes her unique ! I do agree the energy level went down a bit when Fabio sang but with busking there is little or no pre planning it’s kind of fly by the seat of your pants so song choice is what pops into their minds, and I Will Survive is a big number for Allie ! In this performance Fabio was missing a little of his soul and that’s because the extension of his soul was missing, his guitar ! She appreciates having choices so she can get best relationship possible with studio which good business for both sides. Doesn’t need recording deal because with her following she can fill a venue but would help work load by signing. Disney , Polygor ,Universal ,Capital and Atlantic are in play , Allie has great live voice, work ethic extreme , audience loves she don’t use autotune by allowing her few misses be heard and doesn’t care. Allie has wonderful voice control, great range and a charismatic personality. Even her ' lesser ' performances are magnetic. The voice crack is part of Allie Sherlock. Love it. As with all the buskers there is no studio enhancement, no acoustics and plenty of often very cold air in the throat. She has done some truly fabulous performances. At 14 she opened for One Republic on their European Tour until Covid brought it all to a crashing stop. 'She' 'Skyfall' 'Viva La Vida' ( find the YT vid with the red banner across the front) 'Tennessee Whiskey' are just a few of her performances. I'd like to mention another young lady ( also now 17 ) who deserves a wider audience if you would care to give a reaction to her. Ayu Gusfanz Moonlight Sonata 3rd. Great advice on how to deal with the audience. 17 years old here. Clear potential. Does even better when she is singing restrained heartfelt songs imho. Will need good management and production, but has a chance, and actually writes nice original pop. She often sings with fellow buskers. Fabio is hit and miss, he can’t project his voice well.
Allie has had a couple of albums released and is working on her third album of original songs right now. Allie has been doing weeklong each songwriting and recording sessions in London each month this year and could be releasing a new original song she has been working soon. She is engaged in discussions with a couple of record labels and has said that she will look at possibly signing with one after she turns 18 in April 2023. Fabio voice is too weak to compare to Allie
Her performances have never really impressed me. She performs as if everything around her is distracting her.
