- I can't say too much about this War Thunder Jet Realistic Battle without giving the game away, suffice to say it probably doesn't end the way most of you think.

Just be aware that I get hundreds of emails every week and I can't promise that I'll show what you send in.
Seeing my replay being used had me giggling the entire time, because I am a major fanboy
Also EDIT: About the time I killed the Swift, I was leaking fuel, with 5 minutes remaining normally
Also major respect to curbs the swift, who offered me the chance to land which I promptly fucked up
That was quite the enthralling game and with the skyblazers f86! You truly did that title proud. GG
Beautiful fight. Bet in the end of the match you were sick of hearing mig-17 "duh-duh-duh-duh" cannons near yourself.))
your triggerfinger triggered me quite hard. about half a second to long in every salvo. or was it a replay bug?
ever go hes playing you dumb
"the f5 doesn't know he's out of ammunition"
all chat: "well GG, that's my ammo"
I thought the same when I heard Jingles say that... "but he just wrote that in chat..."
Seygem too be fair, he didn’t seem to read chat much
for all the enemy knows it could be a bait to get him careless
@John Grace
Are we even sure he CAN read?

oh, different plot twist, ok back to digging...
Back to the salt mines eh? Tell the Arty Suiciders I said hello!
@@everydaymaverick2166 ok but no promises

Jingles blowing the "one warthunder a year" card early i see
but im glad he keeps the 56 year old tradition of showing us a WT vid a year alive
I could really get behind more of Jingles talking about tactics and history in these videos. It's awesome.
Every time action takes a break - so, about Swift...
That used to be a major part of the channel. I'm mostly hanging around in the hope it comes back, like in this video.
Lucky for you he's been making these types of videos since the game 1st come out aha, so there's a nice big back log of videos to sit through
These used to be all the videos he'd do. He'd do reviews on tanks, and ships, and planes, and spend the first 2/3rds of the video talking about the history of the vehicle. Now he's more of a commentator and it's... Eh. His war thunder reviews are definitely more laced with history.
@@Sreven199 Most due Ginjin being jerk if Jingles points flaws in their game
That Swift player seemed like quite the gentleman. Not only did he say "seems fair" for darkbelugamaster to land, he also turned on his aerobic smoke in the scissor maneuver.
I mean so did Beluga Master, but that was legit possibly one of the coolest things I’ve seen
Automatic captions gave me:
Dr Luger Master
Dark Beluga Master
Doc Baloo the Master
Dark Lube Master ;)

Jingles, you know i watch these war thunder videos for history lessons. Because thats the most entertaining part of it. Haha
Compliments to the first f5 pilot who showed himself to be an equally capable player as darkbeluga, even if he did get outplayed that was still some fine flying
In my youth, while visiting family in Tucson, Arizona, I'd often go out into the back yard and watch the F-86's from Davis-Monthan AFB fly formations over town. Always impressive to watch.
Jingles: "And the J35 up there..."
Me: "Jingles... It's a J32."
You never seem to stop amazing me Jingles.
Super Marine adding dead weight to nose of the aircraft to decrease spontaneous lift reminds me of Porsche filled the front bumpers of the 2nd or 3rd generation of the 911 with lead to help reduce lift throttle oversteer.
I will be over here slow clapping my head on my desk...lol
Have to give it to the swift though, that last engagement was bloody awesome. and love the smoke from both planes :)
For a second it looked like an air show.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
Goddammit Jingles, feature some GOOD War Thunder replays... I've sent you half a dozen better than this! XD
(Including a 1 v 9... which I won... just saying)
@@theScottishKoala Fancy seeing you here koala
looks like this one was just far beyond your levels of epicness!
I shouldn't...
As much as I agree with you, youre also the same person who makes hour long videos to which most of them constitute bitching instead of actual good gameplay. No hard feelings though.
Actually jingles, if he did a belly landing as the last surviving member of his team, the enemy would win from no flyable aircraft on the enemy team.
It depends if the belly landing actually makes him count as crashed or not. You can belly land, even ripping off your engine, and still not count as "crashed", ergo still have minimal repair time and count as alive and flyable
I like how he says "War Thunder realistic battle" right when planes drive throu each other on the runway ;)
(I know, i know gameplay etc. - but i still think it´s funny)
Yeah, the mountains of salt generated if collisions were enabled during takeoff would put Jingles out of business!
Let's be honest though, half the team would be killed on takeoff every battle if that wasn't the case. But it is funny
@@Sir_Budginton It also doesnt hekp the troll potential if the lead aircraft decide not to move.
It was 👍
at this point you need to know that in one point collisions during takeoff was a thing. Didnt take too long for WT to implement the pass through mechanic during takeoff for some odd reason.
Already looking forward to 2021's War Thunder video. Only 355 days to go, oh the anticipation is killing me. I do miss these, and still very much enjoy them. Infact, may have just recently binged your entire War Thunder UA-cam playlist.
I honestly love the Jingles war thunder videos. Just turned off avengers end game during my first watching to see a Jingles War thunder video. Been like this for 6 years. I think its an addiction
loving the WT vids, ty for doing more than usual!
Oh it's been decades since the last warthunder upload!
He's done a few last year =) We've been spoiled =D
what do you mean a few last year? we're in 2032 according to the WT clocks. He kept airing one video a year
@@lanteanboy I'm sorry I don't know what came over me, I must have become delusional for a moment there. Please accept my humblest apologies.
16:46 Actually Jingles, the F-5 was shot down by the airfield AA
The way i crash on takeoff is usualy cuz i want to fast. And dragg my tail on the deck😂
G91 life
Add to that bumpy right hand side of all the airstrips on every single map, that randomly rip aircrafts gear et voila. Seriously, AF are fucked up for a year now. The lawn on the left hand side of the strip is smoother than right hand side of the strip itself
@@HudyHubaHa they implemented that as a patch actually for the Me-262 engine landings

People are crazy thinking it's ok to run the runway past 300 kph. Also nobody ever uses flaps to take off. Or get a fatal packet loss.

@@SonsOfLorgar J35 is in the game.
thank you jingles for years of fabulous and unexpected videos that keep me entertained!
Imagine how much more awesome this replay would have been if this guy knew how to aim
Aiming for noobs
In war, you only have time for one: aim or shoot.
Which one do you pick?
Nextralife also if he would keep his speed up by not turning and climbing every 5 seconds and swithing targets when he shouldnt or when hes way too late
Thank you for your yearly WT video! Imagine if WT would have tanks. I bet you would LOVE that ;)
Jingles, the Swift FR.5 wasn't unarmed, it still carried it's Aden cannons and was able to carry payload.

oh shit, im in this :D
i messed up that attack run so badly he deserved the kill lol
you should have checked out my jingles landing, i did it with 2 wheels
"But if you think this is going to be a boring battle, I hope you enjoy being WRONG" I could not stop laughing for a good 2 minutes. Oh jingles, never change.
Jingles! Welcome back! Glad to see a War Thunder Battle to start the new decade! However, one thing.
2:29 Jingles: pretty sure this battle is gonna end in a way you wouldn’t expect
Title: Plot Twist
Me: is it a ram kill?
What it sounds like with the Swift F1 is that conditions could arise where the center of lift ended up in front of the center of mass of the aircraft, causing it to become unstable and flip over. And as they say, "a nose-heavy aircraft flies poorly but a tail-heavy aircraft flies once".
Half an hour? I could have sworn this only lasted minutes. Very intense.
We need more dogfight narration from you.
That was a fucking brilliant game even though i dont even play war thunder and know very little about it. 😂
I did not know that there was such a level and big airfield on Gozo, and I always imagined Comino somewhat differently. Cool to see the Valletta conurbation towards the end. Clearly, this was Malta before it all became the big sprawl it is now. Must have been nice.
Mind, I still enjoyed my visits there so far. Grazzi!
In the end all I was thinking was, "He could ram him".
I want to see a video on the history of the Swift now
When you said there was a twist the first thing that came to mind of the War Thunder video from a long time ago when an arado killed what I remember to be a IL-28 by ramming him and won the match. Edit- I found the video and got the plane he rammed wrong. ua-cam.com/video/kyb7kCxLLGg/v-deo.html
the fact that he's flying in the f35 is VERY fitting :')
And the fact he can't aim to save his life is another hint
I checked the points ticker and called that the F-86 was going to ram the F-5, so I guess I was close.
My Dad was an F-86 pilot, so this was fun to watch. Just thinking about the stories he use to tell... RIP Dad.
As for crash on takeoff, once i had a 109 K-4 right on me, and i was spooked because i have no idea when collision engages, and the ground got in the way of my evasion
Somebody has to crash in the beginning in order to light the signal fire. That column of smoke guides wayward planes back home.
I'm a world of warships player who has never touched this game. So when he said plot twist, I instantly thought, "ramming speed!"
Crashing on takeoff us usually some sort of equipment, glitch, or configuration failure or WT simply placed someone on the edge of the runway and there is an obstacle in the way.
"He's done it! he's done it! He shot down one of the F-5's!"
Game: AAA shot down =UN= Muricuh (Shenyang F-5)
So i work in a quiet restaurant, and watching the ram made me crack up so hard, i made people's heads turn up
On one hand I'm amazed I guessed the ending exactly, but on the other I spent all my teenage years playing a WWII (mostly) air combat simulator and saw that happen _plenty_ of times...
I love the War Thunder videos! This one was a ton of fun to watch! I loved the history of the Swift as well. Do you think we'll see a P51 Mustang realistic battle in the future? I love the jets a lot but a piston aircraft replay would also be cool.
Another War Thunder video? It must be the year 40,000. God Emperor Jingles has truly blessed us.
Actually Jingles, they enter into a flat scissors, or just a scissors. A rolling scissors adds a 3D element to the maneuver producing a helix pattern if you were to trace the flight paths of both planes in the air.
It was a good scissors though.
When you refused to confirm a maneuver kill, I knew it was going to be a mid-air collision.
I guess crashing on the airfield for some is like biting your own lip while they eat.
Even if you mastered it, you'll still mess up.
I could listen to jingles talk about planes, ships and tanks all day
Two War Thunder Replays in one year? You truly do bless us mi'lord
He is likely going to pull a jingles landing... Because that joke never gets old.
WOO! I love it when you post war thunder. Please post more
Knew it would be a midair collision, but I forgot about the points being a factor! That's hilarious and I love it.
Such reckless flying, if the enemy team had taken note of this he'd have been dead within 3 minutes of taking off, surprised you didn't pick up on this lmao
Yeah, I really don't get why this replay was featured. The guy isn't good. More than the bad shooting (I was a horrible shot too.), the fact that he somehow managed to get into jet combat without learning how to land, is really frustrating to watch. And the "plot twist" at the end is absolutely nothing special. This shit is common in WT.
@@TrangleC premium jet plane, dude. And yeah, this guy fucking sucks donkey dong. I dont think I've seen him break 1000 kmh once.
@@TrangleC Couldn't agree more - thought it was a replay glitch the amount of easy shots he was missing, nah, just a normal F-86F-35 pilot. Just kept turning and bleeding his energy for no reason....
So he wasn't perfect flying while dealing with major issues of a 4 v 1. At least it was entertaining for the vast majority of us, especially the ending. Boom and zoom strategy are not always the best especially against aircraft that can keep up.
Solac e he should have died about 5 times in in the first dogfight, overall it was an entertaining replay, but man this guy is just really bad at flying jets, i cant get mad at bad aim, but the constant turning, losing speed, switching targets when he shouldnt or just way too late etc. Its just frustrating to watch, knowing these are your teammates at jet tier after grinding for god knows how long as a ftp player.
Holy shit, I don’t think I’ve seen a WT replay being showcased that had someone who has expanded so much ammo for so little hits made even for a machine gun aircraft
I had a feeling the F5 would've hit him. Didn't see the ticket counter though. Way to luck out a win, John Grace. That was some epic flying on your part. That F5 was on you like stink on shit.
DarkBelugaMasta , just wow, amazing flying there buddy.
Yeah I called it, I knew there was gonna be a crash I expected it to be the F86 clipping the F5's wing off, but this is far funnier then I had even hoped for.
Wow Jingle's on a roll with his uploads.
Some aircrafts need a longer runway, and sometimes they doesn't get that. So, the pilot try to lift the aircraft and once that happen, he loses control and crash.
The pilot refusing to use combat flaps undermined his shots at the end
dear god, not already! I"m getting old! Its our yearly warthunder video! It felt just like yesterday we got a two for one
I once lost a game by flying my engine-less aircraft into the last remaining aircraft of their team... while down on points.
Brilliant! He shredded his landing gear to lighten his aircraft giving him a better power to weight ratio and an advantage over his opponents!
He put the team on his back! Great replay!
When you did start talking about the plot twist and how it's not what everybody expected I actually did think a mid-air collision might be something that would amuse our gnomish overlord a great deal, although I moved on to other possibilities not long after.
1:10 It's a lot easier to crash with jets because you need a longer runway in order to get to a good speed to take off from, and most of the runways in the game are meant for WWII aircraft. Plus you barely ever feature WWII era War Thunder replays anymore , so it seems to you as if people literally always crash on takeoff in War Thunder, when it's really only because you're watching jet replays
More often its pilots pulling up at the same time
Clipping happens on the runway but is fatal as soon as wheels leave the floor
Had a feeling they would crash into each other, I didn't think about the tickets.
On the Supermarine Swift's tendency to backflip, aerospace engineers have a saying:
And aircraft with a centre of lift too far back flies poorly. An aircraft with a centre of lift too far forward flies briefly.
2031 - jingles uploads his next warthunder video
Actually Jingles, if you crashland and you’re the only one Alive; the game will end because you’re technically dead. So on top of the enemies knowing where you are; the game will end because it believes you’re dead. At least that’s what I remember.
Jingles shouldn't make fun of those who sacrifice themselves by crashing at takeoff. They are donating their lives & planes to throw up a nice smoke marker for the airport. Their kindness overwhelms.
"That jokes going to get old before I do" haha Jingles, you're already old!!!
Brings me back to the Bohemian Eagle days
I’m still not adjusted to the channel name change lol
By my count its 2037 if this is the annual war thunder video.
Supposedly during the Korean War a US Navy F9F engaged a flight of Soviet piloted MiG-15's and managed to shoot a few down. This incident was classified all the way out until the fall of the Soviet Union.
"PLOT TWIST" Jingles is actually paying attention to War Thunder more than once a year :P
People crash because
a) collisions
b) J ing out
C) getting spawned on a section of runway where there’s actually a building on your takeoff path and you can’t manoeuvre around it
d) incompetence
I saw that coming... you said it would be epic.... and it was.
If u crash land as the last player remaining the score will still deplete since you’re technically dead until u repair
This exact aircraft is currently listed for sale at $329,000
First Dramamine! Then a beer! That's some fancy piloting...
Gotta say, amazing flying, and I LOVE the patriotic paint scheme!
When you said there was a twist and I saw a points graph, I knew they had to crash into each other.
People crash on takeoff very simply.
People pulling up at the same time - on the ground you clip through others, not once wheels leave the ground
Feels like Jingles is commentating a football match
I expected to see a draw with both remaining airplanes crashing head-on. I was not disappointed :D
It's that bloody plane/helicopter/tank/ship game again
Realistic has take off bugs in it. Where if you leave the gear down then the plane decides its had enough and puts itself into the ground
i crash on takeoff when i tab out to youtube sometimes
actually centre of gravity vs center of lift is a fundamental concept in aircraft stability.
centre of gravity is just centre of mass; you may imagine centre of lift to be a similar concept but for the average of all lift acting on the aircraft.
a stable aircraft has its centre of gravity in front of its centre of lift.
when you move the wings forward as is the case for the Swift fitting the Hunter's ammo, you move the centre of lift forward towards the centre of gravity, reducing the Swift's stability (technically, pitch stability), so that slight nudges to the aircraft's pitch (e.g. by gust of wind) can amplify into loss of control.
when the Supermarine engineers added dead weight to the Swift's nose, they pushed the centre of gravity forward away from the centre of lift, restoring (somewhat) the aircraft's stability.
hope that was fairly understandable, i do recommend looking up videos of this topic if you want to know more
Lol I actually guessed that it would be a ram kill. Just didn’t expect the enemy to be the one doing the ramming
I was expecting one winged broken FM killstreak, but that will do.
