YESSSS I'm proud they are from my home state of Arkansas. My husband worked for a doctor that is the father of the drummer I think. One of the guys in the band is his son.

Amy Lee has such a fantastic voice. She always gives that rock opera sound.
If you want to hear a very soft but powerful song listen to "Good Enough." Amy kills that one. I also recommend "Lithium" and as someone else suggested Seether's "Broken." (but do the one that Amy Lee is featured in)
I also love the passion she put into "My Heart is Broken" and the message in "Everybody's Fool".
I love Good Enough and Lithium.
Gonna echo others who have suggested Everybody's Fool by Evanescence. Even though it came out like 18 years ago, it's lyrics and video are still relevant in today's social media world. A great song.

I grew up to this music, i had this album on loop in high school. The "Fallen" album was something else, very melodic for a nu metal band.
Its been nearly a year since the last Evanescence reaction. Never too late for another! You can do as many as you want, I'll be happy!
Heck, I'd still tune in even if he did nothing but Evanescence for a month, lol. I can never get enough of Amy Lee's voice. :)

Lead singer Amy Lee is just amazing she sings, writes, plays many instruments multi-talented one of the best. Some more I could recommend are Hello, Call Me When Your Sober, Lithium, Good Enough, Speak To Me, My Heart Is Broken.

If you'd like more slow emotional Evanescence you might enjoy "Lithium," or if you'd like more fast harder Evanescence you might like "Everybody's Fool," or "Call Me When You're Sober."

Her crystalline eyes
This track was from back in 2003 I believe. Amy's voice is just amazing and since back then, it's become even more mature and powerful. I recently listened to her amazing 'Session' recording of 'Lost In Paradise' with just Amy and the piano and it just blew me away. She's gorgeous and she's brilliant. What's not to love about her?

I'll echo others in recommending Everybody's Fool and Call Me When Your Sober. I'd also add Broken by Seether because she sings on that track as well.

A fantastic Evanescence song that isn't recommended very often is "Lacrymosa". It incorporates part of Mozart's Requiem, and Amy Lee said it was inspired by the movie Amadeus (a great film about Mozart's early career). It's got a very unusual sound and really gets under your skin.

This band have so many great songs you are yet to hear. I'd recommend Call me when you're sober, Everybody's fool, Good enough, Imperfection and Lithium. But to be fair everything they have done is awesome so if you have time I'd suggest you check out all their stuff ;)
2003 really was an Evanescence year!!!
the co-founder of the band (their guitarist) left after the first album and they never saw as much success after that. but these early singles were so good!
Her voice literally gives me chills. Anytime I listen to Amy Lee I am transported to some other world. There simply aren’t many vocalists that can do that 🤷♀️.

I saw them in concert but it was an outdoor concert no seats, like a festival, but I'm so short and I couldn't see anything, but they sounded amazing

Yeah Everyone's Fool is definitely a good one to give a try. Use My Voice is another good one. She sings so much power and so many levels above other singers. She's pretty amazing.

Within Temptation is another great operatic style rock band with a fabulous female artist lead singer. Try Angels or Memories.
👉You need to listen to "HELLO", it's yet another facet of Amy's unique voice! 👈
Spoiler alert, but it helps to really appreciate the song...it refers to Amy's 3 yo little sister, who died when Amy was 6. Amy was so young, she didn't fully understand the concept of death.
What you want by Evanescence. It's not as popular but I personally love it.
