Mad hatter Aubrey is a male Eclectus Parrot who lives here at Birds of Eden. He's looks scruffy because he plucked out his feathers and now they are growing back.
They are FANTASTIC parrots to have. Very smart, gentle and love to be around everyone and loves to be included in everything. He even has his own place setting at the dining room table.
He's so cute =). I adopted a 13 year old male Eclectus. He was a little standoffish at first but now after a month, he's a complete cuddlebug. I love Eckies

You should see how good he looks now. A lot of the animals we take in have plucked themselves due to their living conditions or stress, yet once in our care for a while they stop plucking and the feathers grow back nicely.
I'm a bird lover and animal lover. Your male Eclectus is possibly not getting the correct food if it is sharing with a Barbary Dove. Please look at the food your birds require.
