IN MY ZONE: no narrative, quietly hand building lace tumblers

- I can spend hours in the studio in complete silence. It grounds me.
Slabs were 4.5inches x 9.5 inches.
Since I was making slender tumblers my hands wouldn’t fit in the opening. This is where my handy dandy kitchen spatula was used. It did the job.

I like the idea of using a tool to make the slight belly! You always make this look so easy😄 it does inspire me to keep trying hand building. Thanks!
Muy hermoso los vasos
Muito lindos!
3rd comment... will you be showing how you glaze these and what they look like when finished?
That green brush looks very practical to compress the inside seam of your mug. Where did you find it?
A myślałem że będą pierniczki! A tu mamy piękne kubeczki i nie potrzebne koło garncarskie. Spróbuje zrobić ale z góry wiem że mi się nie uda! :) :) :)
the plastic green cup is the clincher!!
Silence is gold... Bom Ano...!
Hi there. I am new to pottery and just LOVE this project, so I've tried it. When I push out the 'belly', my clay made some fine cracks? Hoe do I prevent that? Thank you so much.
Love 💕 your videos :3 Keep it up
Love your work!
Mesmerizing!
I have tried this but cracks starts when I give it shape from inside, what should be the moisture level of clay? Kindly help
Thankyou
I love your work. Thank you. Do you have a special slip recipe that can keep liquid enough to use in a bottle? Is so what is it?
Thank you Kelly. Nothing special. Just clay and water in a blender
I love your beveling tool you made! Genius! And you even lined up the pattern when you closed the seam. Where have you been? This is fabulous. New sub.❤️
Are the things you are using to measure and square seamstress guides? And what is that nifty red handled tool you are smothing the inside of the base with?
Thank you for sharing, your items come out so nice.
Have a safe and Happy New Year!
Betty Taylor Yes. Quilting rulers from the fabric store. Have a wonderful new year 😊
Betty Taylor the red tool is a plastic kitchen spatula
I am sorry Rana, but what is that dust that you put before stamping? And what is it for? Thank you for your answer and for sharing this amazing video.
Beautiful and wonderful .. what is the name of the material that the clay is attached to .. thanks.
Would like to see finished product...
another wonderful instructional video! What surface are you working on? is it canvas on a board?
What is that knife tool? Also, are you thinning the rim so it feels better when in use? And where can I find that biscuit cutter?
Love love love everything about this video
Awesome!! Is this air drying clay, or do you have to put it in a kiln? Also where did you get your little pedistal? 😍💗🌷
What size is your template?
Kindly mention the measurements.
Shipra Goyal 4.5in x 9.5in
How thick do you roll out your clay?
Sherry Cravath on the thin side. Closer to 1/4 in

👀👫🤝🎁👍👉🤝
I can’t find that ruler anywhere!
Try a fabric store. Its a fabric ruler
Very clear and informative tutorial. Questions: dusting bottom before stamping, was it cornstarch you used? (You may inform in another vid-new sub and not thru all of them yet). For tumblers do you think it is best to fire to a 5 or go on up to a 10 on the Laguna? Loved the final touch of rolling up the bottom. Already you have helped me so much. Thank you.
Where can I find that ruler?
It’s a quilting ruler. I got this from Joann fabrics
