I knew a dude from Knoxville and I used to play a song called Tennessee Highway by Owen Temple all the time to bug him. It never bugged him though. It's about a guy heading back to Texas so I thought it was kinda funny. He was a good dude. Met a lot of dudes in the military that were always wanting me to play some Texas tunes. It's a shame how hard it is to find good music for most people. Way easier with the internet today though, thank God!
Born and raised here in San Antonio, TX. Love my city. Rep my city. Whenever I leave her to visit another place in this beautiful country, I miss her so. There truly is no place like San Antone. Amen, Randy. Long live Texas.
Yep, Got my first job on Huebner, lost my virginity off 1-10 and Wurzbach, learned about rough livin on Cupples and listened to the best music on West Ave. and found my best dog by the Donkey Lady Bridge. No place like San Antone.
I'm from Texas and San Antonio is my favorite city besides South Padre also those mariachis in the video are at the restaurant Mi Tierra, they played for me and my family. this is a great video guys
Stationed out here in the Mediterranean with a pregnant wife back in San Antonio. The schedule will suck out here for the next 2 yrs, but I'll be back with them before too long. It's nice to have songs like these to remind me of home.
@@dannykline6348 Yeah, we're all together again here in the states, thankfully. Still miss San Antonio though, and I hate that I can't go back until this pandemic subsides.
A lost Texan here. Who is originally from San Antonio, born and raised there. Left when I was 24. Now I am in Alaska. I feel comfort listing to this song. keeps my memory of my hometown alive.
I was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, all my family is from the San Antone & Castroville area. There is no better place than San Antone. Everything about it is perfect. When you think of Texas you can’t help and think of San Antone! Love y’all RRB!
I was walking down Frio Street in San Antonio and saw this knockout Hispanic girl. 12 years and two kids later she’s just as beautiful as she was on that summer day.

My favorite part of this video is :39. Recently went to mi Tierra and they got new menus 👎🏽. That man was a cousin of my grandpa, Jorge Negrete. Famous musician / actor of Mexican cinema. He’s also referenced in the movie Coco. I’m glad I can come back to this video to see it.
Texan born and raised, family and friends leaving, enlisting soon. Its gonna be hard to come back to my beloved home town as I age. I'll come back for her one day.
San Antonio loves you! Saw your floores concert a few months back. Bought about 14 zeigenbach tall boys and could barely walk out . Looking to do it again soon when you come back here in a few months
Randy Rogers rockin' the boots and cowboy hat. I love how this dude keeps it real. Not some haughty rock star persona but a guy you'd want to kick back and drink a beer with. Check out his interview with Robert Earl Keen.
I kinda hate country, but this song comes on at Walgreens where I work, and I think this is one of the better ones. Maybe cause it's not so freaking happy like the other ones haha.
If you want to find the hardest Sons of Bitches in SA they're in 2 places. The Alamo and Ft. Sam Houston cemetery....God Bless Texas and my city, San Antone.
Good song, but the video is to predictable for me. That slow motion walk, and the hanging on the bars of the gate reflecting with that serious gaze. C'mon guys can't you come up with something unique and more original. Keep on writting and playing, sounds great!
Memphis boy here. San Antonio is one of the better cities I've been too. You Texas folks have a great vibe going on. Love some Texas!
Thx. Memphis isn't aint too bad itself. Love visiting there.

0:44 I still do this everytime I eat at a taqueria or any mexican restaurant lmfao.
Nothing beats a mom and pop tacoria in SA, best in Texas, And RRB is eating at the best one on Durango, the last restaurant in the video!

That's Mi Tierra Resturant at 218 Produce Row. (backside parking on 900 block of Dolorosa)

Aint the Bexar County detention center on Frio Street?
Bexar County Detention Center 200 N. Comal.
400-300 S. Frio sign is at Frio/Ceasar Chavez (Durango) intersection south west corner of UTSA downtown.
ok, I love the vid. but Mi Tierra is an over rated Mexican restaurant. Everything else is legit
A matter of opinion. You can't beat the selection of pan dulce it has.
Brent I think it’s not necessarily because the food is good, but because it’s never closed once ( open 24hrs) in over 100 years, look it up man.
Good song, but the video is to predictable for me. That slow motion walk, and the hanging on the bars of the gate reflecting with that serious gaze. C'mon guys can't you come up with something unique and more original. Keep on writting and playing, sounds great!
