- Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premieres in just a few weeks, and it’s safe to say that the hype is very real. And while fans are - to say the least - interested in seeing Episode IX, we’re all pretty much wondering the same thing: how will the Skywalker Saga finally come to an end?
Well, according to the team behind the film, this truly is the end of the Saga…or at least, it’s the end because they decided it was. - Фільми й анімація
2 weeks left until the saga comes to an end but the story lives on. I hope we get to see more of the Star Wars storyline in the small screen for Disney Plus. I am really excited the next series with Kenobi. Seeing what he has been up to after the events of Revenge of the Sith. Maybe we could get to see Darth Maul in this live action adaptation with Ray Park returning with Sam Witwer providing the voice.

Billy Dee Williams, I was disappointed at first and he never came out for the Last Jedi. But I was still hoping and I knew that Billy Dee Williams would come back as Lando Calrissian.
As always the force is strong with him and Billy Dee Williams will always be the old smoothie, alongside Harrison Ford
Daniel Gomez Fun Fact: I met him once! Back in September, I was visiting a friend in Saskatoon, and we went to a Comic-Con type event called the Sask Expo. Mr. Dee Williams was one of the guest stars, so me and my friend ended up getting a picture taken with him!

TROS seems like its going to be another Matrix Revolutions. Lots of bull5hit dialog and over the top action sequences and "new powers" to make up for a weak story and a boatload of plotholes. Like Agent Smith in MR, Palpatine will be underutilized and will become a parody of his former self. Most of the scenes of Luke, Anakin, Obi Wan Lando, etc. that were filmed a few months ago were apparently shelved by Kathleen Kennedy in her infinite stupidity. I sincerely hope I'm wrong and I will gladly eat my words if that's the case..... but I'm having a bad feeling about this.

Tommy DeVito Why do they keep screwing him over? It’s almost like they hate Luke Skywalker and secretly didn’t want him in this new trilogy at all
He technically died in the last one if they bring him to all the press conferences that’s telling fans he’s going to be in a lot of the movie. Now do most fans believe he will be in it? Yes I’m pretty confident he will appear again and what he’s going to do will be a very interesting, but they probably don’t want to put all the spotlight on him in order to surprise the audience. To say that they didn’t want him in the new trilogy and they hate him is ignorant because they could’ve easily done the trilogy without any of the original characters, but they obviously wanted to.
Leanna Nichols It wasn’t a secret that Luke was gonna be in the movie. It was already confirmed, Mark Hamill’s name is on the poster, and Luke’s voice has been heard in every trailer and tv spot. The reason why i feel like they hate Luke Skywalker and didn’t want him in this new trilogy at all is because they treated him like garbage in this whole thing. First, he only has a small role in The Force Awakens by only appearing for a couple seconds at the end. He doesn’t even speak. Then they ruin his character in The Last Jedi and kill him off in the end. Chances are, he’ll have a small role as a force ghost in this movie too. So Luke, the main protagonist of the whole saga, only got one movie in the Sequel Trilogy. WHY!!!!
SuperJackster01 because it was never supposed to be movies solely about Luke again. They have been saying that the whole time it’s about the new generation and passing it on.
I think the actors are good people but unfortunately they are in movies that have lacked quality writers and leadership

I don't know the real fans aren't really interested in seeing this movie from what I can tell.. They heard what they wanted found it disappointing and have pretty much made it clear they will not be going out to see this third dumping on the Lucas lore... I'll maybe rent it but I won't waste money seeing it in theaters. The fans who didn't grow up with the originals will most likely be there but us old heads remember when Star Wars used to be good (prequels included). The only good Star Wars has been Rogue One and the new Mandalorian show. That's it This new trilogy only managed to shit on everything the fans loved about this series.. And when fans spoke up about it they were labeled stupid and sexist.. Pretty sure they killed that good will with the name calling of the fans.. Good luck Disney you have a major uphill battle and from what I've heard you pretty much made sure no REAL fan will be happy so yeah no monies for you!!! Side note Kathleen Kennedy should be dragged out and shot by Lucas himself for lying to his face and the fans about how they would "respect" his lore and what he has built.. Which was obviously a Major lie.....
Madmartigan I know that many fans are angry about the last film but they shoudnt use the last films failure and think this one will be just as bad. I personally think everyone’s extremely low expectations will cause this 3rd film to be a garunteed success. Everyone’s expectations are SO low that anything even “good” will be praised.

I didn’t look into them for TLJ I thought it was gonna be great and didn’t want to be spoiled.But if you haven’t read them every trailer really looks like they are true. Most of all the final scene of Rey based on what Daisy Ridley said in an interview today. I’ll let people see it first and then tell me if it’s a dumpster fire like TLJ or not. All the characters I like are dead anyway.

1992disney I think you have an unhealthy obsession with new ideas. I will never understand how people can dedicate hate to something for so long and pretend to be on the right side of history. Face it: we live in a world with equal opportunities and having storytellers who will accommodate progressive ideas is a good thing for our children. These are stories to influence children to make good choices, so maybe you should do the same and just stop obsessing over new ideas being bad just because they differ from your own. 1992disney I am 43 and grew up with Star Wars as my favorite story ever told. My first film I saw in a theater was Empire when I was 4, so don't tell me I don't know what makes Star Wars works. The films work, most of the books from the eu were trash, making SW sci fi and not fantasy. Disney made it a fantasy tale again with new hero's and new villains. RJ made the greatest contribution by challenging how we think of hero's and the reality of what hero's may do when they failed.
I know Star Wars fine, I think you may need to check your moral compass on what you think fantasy/ fairy tales are meant to do for our culture.
Please go obsess over how great the Thrawn Trilogy was and how Luke Skywalker didn't even get to destroy legions of Star Destroyers because that's "what cool hero's do" with their laser swords and god like powers.
