Looks like you had a lot of fun. The Snow White walk-through was really cute. I literally Gasped out loud when you dropped that cupcake. OH NOOOOOO! lol
I love solo Disney days and I love this video! I took three years of Chinese in high school and was my graduating classes Chinese scholar. This definitely brings it all back!
Disney solo has a special feel, a few months ago I went with friends for four days but they had to go to urgent care so I was solo for the day! It was actually lots of fun, single rider lines for days man!
+Sarah Sterling glad it isn’t just me that doesn’t care about visiting theme parks on my own 😊 I went to Walt Disney World alone for the first time in January and I loved it! Same with Universal Studios. Happy to do things alone too sad there is such a stigma to it. You are awesome
Just started watching your vlogs. Thanks for all the travel and info.I live nearby the WDW Parks and frequently visit alone. I'm never late and I never miss anything.
*is Chinese, understands everything the characters are saying, but has never been to Shanghai Disneyland* I really want to ride Pirates! HUHUHU thank you so much for this great video! Will look forward to the day I finally visit! So amazing how you can vlog so well in public!
I'm learning Mandarin and would love to visit China and being a huge Disney fan this gives me more impetus to continue learning and eventually go! I can't read 99% of Chinese characters but I'm actually surprised I understood some of the Chinese VO of the characters I'm so used to hearing in English... the Snow White voice is too cute!
I wish it was more acceptable to go places alone without anyone feeling sorry for you, some people enjoy things better alone or just don't have anyone to go with!! Some times u need a break from everyone else and being introverted doesn't make you sad or lonely
I have a pencil case/wallet that is themed after the maze. It's from Shenghai as well, bought it at Cast Connection. I guess the merch over there doesn't sell very well, so they sent a bunch of it to us!
Funny thing is that women's happiness goes down every year after they turn 30 with no man in their life. Interesting enough, same thing doesn't happen to men.
You should buy a battery pack if you haven't already. I have one I always bring with me to the parks so I never have to stop filming. They're also good just daily to keep in your bag in case of an emergency when you need to charge your phone.
I have one. We were kind of juggling using our outlet converters for phones and other appliances and didn't always charge the external battery all the way. China problemz.
oh man that sucks so bad it was hard getting everything charged while i was in japan too. even though the outlets are the same our airbnb didn't have enough of them. so i feel ya
i can't speak italian. i remember it was during the queen of parts section and my brother and i were taking a picture and she started yelling at us haha
Sarah I don't blame you... I think I'd do the same lol rationally I know I should see actual China, but 😬 also should note it's probably less touristy to go to shanghai disneyland than to go to all the tourist spots in shanghai
I want to go to Disneyland alone. Not too far from me. Maybe a two hour drive ,but the problem is I can't drive. XD Uber sounds expensive so, Idk what to do. Like I'd ask a friend to accompany me ,but I have none that love Disney.
You mentioned this in your previous vlog when you ate at Lumiere's that people don't know Disney there. Does that mean the park is the least busy? Also what happened to Down to Disness last month?
ParadoxFreak At current Shanghai Disneyland is annually the least visited Kingdom style park on Earth, however the least visited Disney Park year after year is actually Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris, which is also the World's smallest Disney park.
No, it's still pretty busy! They still like a good immersive experience even if they don't know most of the characters. But they DO know Marvel and Frozen!
also remember that China has a population of over 1.3 billion people. The park is HUGE, and made for large crowds, but it still gets busy, especially during Chinese holidays
When I watched you drop that cupcake and eat the frosting off your hand, all I could think was how a Chinese person was probably looking at you like you are crazy because they are so clean. I've been working in China for a few years now, and I will never get over how people use plastic gloves to eat pizza and hamburgers.
I honestly prefer going to theme parks by myself. Every time I go with a large group (like 5 people or more) there's always someone who wanders off and doesn't answer their goddamn phone. It's so frustrating because I'm always the only one who ever gets worried about where the heck they went and everyone else in the group is always like "blah blah you're overreacting blah" which pisses me off EVEN MORE. Like don't tell me I'm overreacting, our friend is missing in a giant theme park, we don't know where they went, they won't answer their phone, and I don't want to spend my whole day worrying about everyone else wandering off and acting like children and I have to be the designated adult, ya know what I mean? Like I'm not your mom, act like an adult and DON'T. WANDER. OFF. JEEZ. Also single rider lines are my jam.
Hey I have really bad anxiety and depression and I'm thinking about getting a service dog because of that. But I also want to go into the DCP and I'm not sure if they would let me in because I have a service dog. I know they can't legally descrimnate against me because of that but it just seems like another reason to choose someone else instead of me. I wouldn't bring my dog with me to work but it would need to live with me. Do you know anything about how the DCP dealls with service dogs?
If you have a service animal, they will accommodate you at DCP housing. Keep in mind that training a service dog can take years, so if you are considering doing the DCP in the next few semesters, your dog may not be fully certified and able to come live with you yet.
I was in Paris last summer and i really wanted to go to disney but a friend wanted to go visit versailles instead and i didn't want to go alone because i'm wierd like that anyone have any tips on what to do alone?? And how to avoid feeling alone and sad? :( And yeah i don't really do rides because i'm a scardey-cat! :3
Marsii paris has some rides with single rider lines, and plenty of non-thrill rides :) Don't be scared to go alone, Disney is great and there is plenty to do. At least you can set your own pace and don't have to compromise!
Almost all of the Cast Members spoke at least a little English! There were only a couple times I had to be directed to a manager/lead (all of whom speak the best English in the park) in order to get a question answered.
This is one of the most stereotypical narcissistic things I have seen on the internet: a clickbait title then have 15 minutes of filming yourself walking around, and not actually showing anything?
OMG PING IN A PARADE?! YAAAASS! It makes me miss Disneyland's Mulan parade (as well as the other parades dedicated to a movie)
Yeah they really only have those sort of parades back then to help promote the new movies and are just gone once they are gone for good.
Very brave to go to a park on your own, you went out of your comfort zone Sarah and did so well, amazing vlog xxxxxxxx
Looks like you had a lot of fun. The Snow White walk-through was really cute. I literally Gasped out loud when you dropped that cupcake. OH NOOOOOO! lol
LOl worst moment of my trip haha

Yasmin Knowles most of the time I visit I’m solo.
Glad you got to go on Tron at night. By far, one of the coolest experiences of any Disney ride
Cool!!!! Thanks for taking me to Shanghai!!! Cool experience!!!!
I'm a Disney world vlogger and I'm currently contemplating a solo visit. This has really persuaded me to be brave and go for it !
Sarah! Next time you visit China (if ever) do a live video and I will tell you what the signs mean! (in a reasonable LA time though)
Just started watching your vlogs. Thanks for all the travel and info.I live nearby the WDW Parks and frequently visit alone. I'm never late and I never miss anything.
I love Molly and Hollie, they're the best!!!
It's based off the live action! I LOVE IT!
I bet Holly and Molly wish they had been in the vlog. Good to see you back on your channel. Don't forget about your OG supporters. :)
*is Chinese, understands everything the characters are saying, but has never been to Shanghai Disneyland* I really want to ride Pirates!

YOU ARE SO AWESOME SARAH!!!!
Some of my most fun times at Disney has been solo trips. Great Video
I wish it was more acceptable to go places alone without anyone feeling sorry for you, some people enjoy things better alone or just don't have anyone to go with!! Some times u need a break from everyone else and being introverted doesn't make you sad or lonely
GLAD YOU HAD A GREAT TIME!! Thanks for sharing the Resort with everyone. :-)
I have a pencil case/wallet that is themed after the maze. It's from Shenghai as well, bought it at Cast Connection. I guess the merch over there doesn't sell very well, so they sent a bunch of it to us!
I loved the Pirates ride too! My favorite ride there.
What another great vid. You're just living the life girl!
Aw man, now I wish a Disney park would do that Alice maze thing with The Jungle Book!
Ahh this is so fun! The walk-through stuff was really cool.
You looked a bit upset at the end of the video hope you were ok glad you went exploring ALONE us gals don't need no man to hold our hands
Sheree Martin oml
Funny thing is that women's happiness goes down every year after they turn 30 with no man in their life. Interesting enough, same thing doesn't happen to men.
Pez she has a man though lol.. shes had a boyfriend for years and I dont think shes 30 yet
I was just tired! I had a really good day.
Um. Go away.
Cool, I want to do ,Glad you had a cool time awesome .

haha the alice maze reminds me of the one in paris where an italian mom yelled at me.
Melanie Hollows why did she yell at you??
i can't speak italian. i remember it was during the queen of parts section and my brother and i were taking a picture and she started yelling at us haha
Come to Disneyland Hong Kong!!
Very cool!

I have a massive needle phobia, but im desperate to go to the far east parks- do I need any injections to go if im just going to Disney?
I don't think you need any shots at all...
I was in Paris last summer and i really wanted to go to disney but a friend wanted to go visit versailles instead and i didn't want to go alone because i'm wierd like that anyone have any tips on what to do alone?? Hi Sarah!! I'm going to China next year and I have only one day free in Shanghai, is it possible to visit the whole park in a day?
Yeah! You might not get on everything, but you'll see most of it!
What's the best thing i should experience at Shanghai DL?
Tron and Pirates!!!!
How is it going to a park and not speaking the main language? Do the employees speak any English or is it difficult?
Almost all of the Cast Members spoke at least a little English! There were only a couple times I had to be directed to a manager/lead (all of whom speak the best English in the park) in order to get a question answered.
omg youre friends with mollay?!? its a small world (get it)(im an idiot)
I am now!
I'm new here. Is leo here boyfriend , her best friend , or her brother ?
Her*
Boyfriend :)
I never been to disneyland in China Japan or Paris yet
I go alone 24/7#disneydab
Oh Sarah, you need a hug?
no?
But you do miss Leo, doesn't makes you sad and lonely?
she beautiful
That park honestly looks SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER boring and lame. It's all just like, playgrounds? Even their fireworks are boring??
Very disappointing park there are no attractions this should have been a dark ride
There are a ton of dark rides in Shanghai.
This is one of the most stereotypical narcissistic things I have seen on the internet: a clickbait title then have 15 minutes of filming yourself walking around, and not actually showing anything?
Why does everyone keep calling the title clickbait? It's literally a video of me exploring the park alone...lol
Click bait title 👎🏻
Is it? I was alone at Shanghai Disneyland.
