    I have both deep-set and hooded eyes, and the struggle is real with winged eyeliner (even with foxy eyeshadows) It's like my eyes all brow-bone. Can't wait to perfect this method!

      I really never heard of them being called anything other than bedroom eyes until about eight or ten years ago. Must be a generational term.

    • @susankeller4170
      @susankeller4170 3 роки тому +1

      The term bedroom eyes doesn’t apply to the skin that covers the crease of the eye, or the hood....Bedroom eyes actually refer to the eyelid lowered to the middle of the iris, creating the appearance of being ‘sleepy’. Most people have eyes that are opened near the top of the iris and have a wide awake look.

    I've been doing this with a Zoeva eyebrow brush for quite some time and it's so much easier and faster than eyeliner. It also allows me to experiment with more colors than just black without spending more money. Bonus - if you spray the brush with a setting spray (i use fix +) or just wet it and then dip it in the eyeshadow, the color will look more intense and will stay on the eye for longer cause that way the brush picks up more product. Thanks again for the great content!

    I have round hooded eyes, with one more hooded than the other, and this technique works quite well. It does take a bit of practice, especially to not raise my eyebrows just a bit on accident when doing the shape, but it's by far the easiest yet. It also doesn't give me a hyperventilating panic attack, like I often have with liquid liner.
    Tip: very small art or nail brushes can sometimes give you the precision you need if you're on a budget.

    Andreea you are one of the few fantastic artists that still teach actual makeup application techniques, and you should know how very much it AND YOU are appreciated!! This was simple, concise, and easy to follow. I think this video is especially genius because an artist shared this with me years ago, and after failing miserably at eyeliner for SO long it literally saved my makeup life! ❤️

I'm using eyeshadows, pencil eyeliner, liquid eyeliner, but none of them looks perfect. I'm still figuring out how to make it works on my hooded eyes. Hopefully I could master this winged liner soon, bcs I really love how it looks on you and Shirine! Big love from Indonesia ❤️

    This really works. I bought the Anastasia brush 7B and tried it out. For the first time I created a perfect winged liner in one shot. I literally gave up on creating it, because I never seemed to get it right. I have hooded or bedroom eyes :) and still it looks really good. Thank you Andreea. Since I am watching your videos my make up improved so much and I rediscovered how much fun make up is when you know how to apply it correctly.

    @Ali Andreea I think I will accept the challenge! I am 54 & this has always been something that has never worked out well for me especially with liquid liner. lol I think I could do this though I have always been fond of pencil liners I am sure I can work my way up. 😉I am lucky that I do not have eyelids that have dropped which I will attribute to never being a sun worshiper in my youth. My mom still looked good into her 60's though she was much darker than I am.
    I thank you for all the tips you give, they are priceless.

    I always use the darkest shade of the eyeshadow palette as my "eyeliner" and just apply it with the angular smudge(?) side of the applicator. Its so much easier and practical to apply, ontop of that usually looks a lot more natural than an obvious black line or wing. Takes me 2 minutes or less and creates an effortless smokey effect

    This is the ONLY way that I do my wing when I decide to wear one and I always do brown, purple or green eyeshadow for the wing. Black liquid liner just doesn't work for me. When I use a shadow, it looks soft and if I make a mistake, I can easily fix it and it lasts as well. 😊

    Brilliant idea! I am 59 years old and my eyes have become deep set with my aging...When I was younger...wings were alot easier but now with that little crease at the end of my eyelid it is much harder to get a perfect wing! YAAAS! 👌🏼 This is the only way I can achieve a beautiful eyeliner with my slightly hooded eyes. With liquid liner, I was always living on a prayer 🙏🏼 lol and I’d always mess it up and look ridiculous 😬

    When you said I dare you something in me was like: challenge excepted 😁 I struggle so much with doing my eyeliner and I prefer to not do it than do it and then I look like a panda and have to take it off 😫 But I’ll try this technique because I love how an eyeliner looks 😍

    I never dared to do a winged eyeliner on my hooded eyes, but this might be the only thing that will work! Thank you Andreea!

    I’ve been using this method since I saw you do this in a previous video. I personally love it! I’ve even graduated to using black 😉 Eyeliner has always given me anxiety lol which is so silly but true. I’ve been using a flat small brush though, tisk tisk. I will try it with an angled brush next time. It looks a lot easier! Thank you

    I use this method, mine is normally a bit thicker toward the flick because my eyes are bigger and more round AND I have hooded eyes. I’m going to be 60 in may, so if I can do it anyone can! Thanks for all the great videos!!
