I had high hopes for this course but was disappointed. On the positive side, the clubhouse, staff and practice facilities were all top notch. No complaints there However, my playing partner and I felt that a number of holes on the course were a bit tricked out. A few examples, No. 10 was a joke with sloping fairways to the right that encouraged your ball to roll into a jailhouse of trees . No 18's landing area at the 150 marker was about 15 yards wide and that par 5 was cart path only! There are multiple more examples. Lastly, our round took 5hrs and 15 minutes because two foursomes of "members" were so slow and the staff wouldn't push them along. Nevertheless, I felt good contributing $110 to the economy of Romeoville!
