Great video mate! I love my Trangia. I own the 25-1 Hard Anodised version and wouldn't part with it for the throne of England. Trangia cooksets are uncomparable in their design and efficiency and in my opinion virtually neverending in their ability to cook 'real' meals. To date, I have cooked; Liver & Onions, Mashed Potatoes, Bubble & Squeak, Potato/Corned Beef Hash, Chilli Con Carne, Tomato & Garlic Soup, Chicken Curry, King Prawns, Beef Stew & Dumplings and countless servings of Porridge. Obviously, there are a few limitations for certain meals, although, I have even mastered a Steak & Ale Pie with a Pastry Top....with a modicum of frustration and an even little more imagination and praying to the gods, but low and behold on the first take, I had a Pie! To me, Trangia's are completely indespensible and may be the best companion a backpacker, hiker and even a world- traveller could have. Nice video again mate! @@deador9192 M8 I have just purchased the bushcraft XL titanium stove and believe it is amazing for cooking and it leaves the trangia miles behind seriously its more expensive but hey you can use twigs and it saves you money for the metholated spirits and all you need to do is burn twigs and branches that are dead on the ground m8 I ain't used my trangia 25 this year since I used my better purchase and its lightweight and compact also gives you more room in your backpack
@@magicmike6517 but can you cook for 5??? That's the fucking point of the trangia, only one person is carrying it, but 5 people will be eating of it. Can you cook an English breakfast for 5 and still be able to make a nice cup of coffee?
Keep the burner in the yellow bag because the brass will eat through the aluminum pots, that is the main reason for the bag!
