She definitely had a right to be pissed at Simone. Her son just turned 18 and they were sleeping together, for all she knew it could've been happening for years (it wasn't, but it's still weird as hell). However, her telling people about Simone's husband having aids was definitely a low blow and unnecessary

Short recap is there’s one house with three time lines. It goes through the husband and wife’s and someone ends up dead in each one. You have the first story about a husband an wife. They lost their daughter because the back gate was left open and she got hit by a car, they move for a new start however her husband is a cheater. She befriends the woman he’s cheating on her with.
The second story (the couple in the clip) are a husband and wife. One day the wife finds out her husband is actually gay and is heart broken. Her best friends son (Tommy) knows about her husband being gay and makes a move. They have a fling for a bit and then she finds out her husband is sick. Even though she was mad about him being gay at first she eventually see this is her best friend.
The last couple moved into a house after the husband recovered from being an addict. They have an open marriage and one day the wife’s girl friend ends up living with them after fleeing from an abusive relationship.
That last episode sounds awful. The first episode however was really good.

There is also a second season based off the house prior to these three stories. That one’s not as good but still great. Basically the husband has a horrible secret and the wife finds out and it gets to her head. She and her husband are not poor but not rich, so one day she joins a garden club (rich people club) and goes on a spiral
Listen. I liked her relationship with her gay husband but you can’t refute the fact what she was doing with her best friends SON was predatory and creepy. She knew him ever since he was a child, I think since he was 12 or 13 (after re-watching some of this season, he was actually 6 years old when she was introduced to him. So she’s known him since he was in kindergarten). He was only 18….. and I feel like people don’t talk about how creepy that situation was due to her being a woman, because if it had been a man doing the same to a 18 year old there would be much more discussion about that.
And you can say, “he came onto her first” it doesn’t matter. It’s her responsibility as the older more mature person to reject him and explain why, it would have ended there if she had. I know predatory behavior and ridiculous age gaps are normalized by societies standards (standards made by peds and preds) but there is a moral obligation to make the decision NOT to entertain the romantic advances of a teenager old enough to be your child. It doesn’t matter if it’s legal either, as law is not synonymous with morality.

But there were people within the wife’s social circle that also didn’t want to hang with them because her friend was telling everyone that she groomed her son, which she did. Judging him for his sickness was unfair, but I feel like it’s only the consequences of her actions catching up with her when it comes to the boy.
She only got with him in the first place because he was easy to be with and already had a crush on her, she wanted to make her husband jealous but he’s gay so he didn’t really care.

I loved this show its called why women kill (this is in the first season). Simone was having an affair with her best friend (the blonde woman) 18 year old son who's name is Tommy after he comforted her when she found out her husband (Karl) was gay. The best friend eventually found out and ruined Simone's life by exposing her affair and Karl's aids and his sexuality. Tommy was in the hospital at the time because he argued with Simone which made him run out to the road and get hit by a car. The best friend sees Simone in the hospital car park whilst in her car so she tries to run over Simone but Tommy pushes her out of the way. A bunch of people see this and this makes the best friend a social outcast and sort of crazy.

Everyone talking about HIPAA, but that came into effect in the mid-90s. As I understand, this season takes place in the 80s. Before HIPAA, there was no central privacy law for medical information. Not in the US a anyway.
