    I considered having a machine shop hone the pistons and try to fix the problem, but that would have been an expense and the pistons are old anyway.

    I think you made the right call on those pistons. That old car to is nice to scrimp. Now if this was 1928 or so.... Congratulations on having such a nice '14 Touring. I look forward to hearing that engine run again. Good luck.

    Good call on buying the new pistons. The $100 expense is worth the peace of mind. Can't wait to see the car up and running!!

    In view of the cost of the new pistons and the depth of the repairs that you are doing agree that new is the way to go, whilst machining the old pistons is an option it’s cost and time factor could outweigh the cost of the new ones. Super video, I’m looking forward to the next one already.
