- The John Cooper Works has had lots done on the inside, now its time to bling it up a little by adding chilli red vinyl stripes to the bonnet (hood) and boot (trunk) plus some additions to the front and rear bumpers.

Looks wicked.
Quick note, please be aware that UA-cam takes a while to upload the full 4K video so if you watch within the first few hours after publication, the quality isn't great. Give it a few hours and you will get it in full 4K loveliness.
Nice blast up the ridge way.. lol Great videos mate.. done a couple of copart cars myself. I do like your channel.. keep them coming.
Haha yes, indeed Gary. I'm in Cuffley so not a bad road to blast up and down!! Thanks for the comment, much appreciated.
Stripes look good, might need something on the doors too... and some spot lights 👍 I’d say don’t map it, fast enough!
Funny enough already ordered chilli red stripes for the sides. Only 4cm high but enough to balance it off. Great minds think alike!!
Looks nice my one was a manual car even more fun sadly had to sell as I am a grandad now so got copper s exle 😔
I’ve stage2 mapped my Mini F57 auto, it’s not recommended to push the power much beyond 280 since the auto box can’t handle it, the manual can happily go beyond 300
Hi David, i did ask that question but the guys at the rolling road said it could handle it for sure...
I had mine mapped at mini specialist Lohen (also had new inter cooler, sports cat, air filter and spark plugs) and had a long debate about the max output they were comfortable pushing the mapping too. I guess everyone has a different experience/opinion.
Ha you should always wash from top down lol
Haha yes indeed. My washing skills need some work
Stripe looks really good :) would you be able to provide a link ? Thanks
Hi, do you have a link to where you got the decals from? Thanks
Hi,
What color did you use for the bodywork?
The color of my mini matches or at least seems to be the same, and I have a problem I can't get the corresponding color, I bought the reference on ebay but it's too dark (A62).
Best regards
António
Hi Antonio. I used the Mini A62 White Silver as stated on my car information sticker. One thing i will say is that make sure you use white primer as using grey does make the top coat darker. Also i would recommend 2k laquer. Much nicer finish.
Hope that helps.
Hi
First off all thank ypu very much is a great help, i eill do as you advised me.
My car information sticker( A62/0) is the same as yours?
Thank you one more time.
Best regards
António
Yes exactly the same. A62/0
Thank you
Where did you get the stripes? It looks like a nice package.
Thanks Brian, just on Ebay. Loads there.
Was enjoying all the videos...until my OCD came on in hyper mode.......you washed your JCW with a sponge please don't!!!!!...... good content loved the build but please no more washing with sponges 😁👍
Hi Dixie
Thanks for the feedback. Sorry I didn’t know sponges weren’t bad. I take it too abrasive?
@@NowWeDrive yes indeed it's like pulling red scotch pads over the paint work micro fiber for everything and if you drop it bin it. 💯😁👍..
I don’t like the things around the bottom. Like the light surround stickers. My opinion
They are not for everyone thats for sure. Easy peel off for the new owner so i was not overly bothered either way.
