I have a 93 Z. Pretty good. Definitely do your research on the LT1. Pros and Cons because it's an interesting engine. Great numbers and has the old school muscle sound/performance. I would still have to say though, the LS1 is nicer to work on/better bang for the buck performance.
Had a 96z28. Never got the sound I wanted. Had hooker shorties and tried a few flowmaster mufflers: crossflow 80 series, super 44, and a 40 series. This would have been the solution. Awesome ride!
I was looking at some LT1 Firebird Trans Am's but I think I love these Camaro z28's about as much. The 93 to 97 do it for me as I don't like the facelift as much they gave it for the 98 to 02 years. I'm not that much into these loud annoying exhaust systems that I see people putting clips up of but I really like the sound of yours.
This is not just any "loud" POS exhaust dude. Back in 1993, I had a 93 black Z28. This cat back is Borla 14464 adjustable cat-back. He noted that he had NO plates (it came with 5). There was a block off plate that routed all gases thru the muffler which made this kit quieter than the stock GM system (if you wanted it this way). Being T304 SS, it was not cheap and costed me around $900 installed. Being that this is some young dude with a 20+ y/o car, he wouldn't know that dyno tests in the mid-90's proved the 3/4" plate actually develops the most HP/TQ....
I doubt you will reply to this considering this video was posted a while ago. But what exact exhaust system do you actually have ive looked everywhere for it and i can't find it!
Would probably be best to try to find a used one. They are a little pricey. Look at the hooker areo exhaust also! Sounds really close to a borla but a lot cheaper!
I do miss this car sometimes. LS1 sounds just as good if not better! I prefer the LS series just because it is newer technology and more support for it and easier to work on.
I hate to say it. This LT1 has the old school small block firing order which is why it sounds way better than an LS which has a more balanced firing order which is actually a smoother tone. The old firing order is less balanced but rougher in tone
How good is the speed. I have a 03 mustang v6 and have to say I didn't get Jack shit with basic. Not even cruise control. I'm planning on getting a z28 in the summer
I have a Red 94 Z28 just like this with the LT1. Best sound and ride I've ever had. Will never get rid of her
The LT1 is such a beast. I'm hoping to get one this summer if things go smoothly:)
+Adam Reed Go ls and don't look back.
Alright, I may try to.

Did you get one?
@@justjulian7503 bought a 01 firebird roller and put a 4.8 ls with a turbo, so yes

Borla S-Type Im guessing???? Sounds great man
is it lowered some ? i love the ride height of it
Yes it is
I don't understand why Borla charges so much though
What the muffler part number
The sound! Why does the LT1 have to sound so good? Makes it hard to decide firmly on an LS1!

Sorry, the LS1 does NOT sound better than an LT1.

@@jonathanryan2915 especially when cammed. sounds great with even a minor cam, and quickly gets to that wonderful popcorn machine with a medium one
are all 94 Camaro z 28 come with posi traction ??
Yup
Hey man can I use this video for my UA-cam channel. I will credit you
Are you running any headers? Or is it stock?
Stock headers
How good are the stock brakes on the z28
Good I guess, no complaints. The ls1's have better tho.

Alex Brick I actually have a go pro now and will do some pulls on the highway when all the snow melts.
