- On our latest trip we head to Muscat, Oman. It was a last minute decision, and a good one at that! We explored the city of Muscat and its surrounding suburbs, the beautiful buildings and its history. We go into the desert in search of camels and to see the famous wadi's (oasis).

Hey guys! Accommodation is quite pricy so maybe have a look if there is Airbnb or similar. We only stayed a few days so booked a hotel. If we find out something more affordable we'll let you know. Enjoy it!

Oman video is very well filmed, described and has story people can follow easily.
We are not really a fan of background music you used in this video. In our opinion you have amazing shots, but this music doesn't uplift them more. We know music is so hard to find, sometimes we spend whole day searching for right music. For our Sibenik video we listened about 200 songs before we found the perfect match!
All in all - great video! "Take 1,2,3" hilarious!

Nice video! I have the chance to go on an internship in Oman. As I will go all alone my family is a little worried if the country is safe enough for a woman alone, but I think it's very safe though. What were your expierences?
gekkemeidisgek hi there! Our experience of Oman was that it was very safe. We only travelled through Muscat and the surrounds. We met expats that work in neighboring countries who said that they often come to Oman for weekends and holidays to camp. Locals also have a culture of camping on the beaches and say that it is safe. If you go, good luck, and let us know how you enjoy it x

I am planning to go to Oman very soon and I would really appreciate if you could give me more details about your trip. since you didn't hire a car to visit the surrounding would you tell me how if you had taken a cab each time you will go exploring the surroundings?and how far are the whaba deset and the wadi from muscat ? did you do it as a day trip? thank you for replying .

Hi Sabrina! In Oman you have to drive because even the main city Muscat is sooooo spread out that if you relied on public transport it wouldn't get you anywhere fast :) We were very lucky to have met a great taxi driver Fahed who charged us very reasonable fares and was very flexible. How much to ride the camels?
Hi John. I can't remember how much it was to ride the camels or if we even paid. The people were so nice and keen to show us the camels I think they just let us ride. There are more organised camel riding tours which I'm sure you could book. Have a Google search for a camel tour leaving from muscat

We use a combination of cameras, nothing too serious. We have an action camera (like a GoPro), it's called a Xiaomi Yi -it's amazing and really small. Then we also film off a Nikon dslr, and edit on iMovie
