Excellent work as always; I would take one in left handed please and thank you. LOL!! I want to build a left handed floyd rose frankenstrat (but still have a nice guitar). But the going price for bodies out there is too much and my budget is slim. I just need a neck and a body. I have scanned over EBay and Reverb and other wood sites and no luck for me. Be safe and have a Happy New Year and tell Seth Hi for me. I watch you guys all the time. Peace be with you and yours.
On Amazon, I saw a "Deflector Nozzle - Deflector nozzle creates a long, narrow heat pattern to the work surface, can be used for drying, thawing, stripping paint or softening putty" that could come in handy for those who regularly need to remove guitar finishes. It clips onto the end of a Heat Gun.

Plastic kills the best guitars. It's unbelieveable how bad this is for guitar tone, and they do it at Fender and many other companies for decades and decades now. But when it comes to nitro, the case is similar: Today's nitro laquers contain softeners, so that cracks from temperature changes from warm to cold close when warmed up again, and then again there is no cracks. That's why so many reliced guitars are so badly faked: people put them in the freezer to get the cracks, then they fill the cracks with dirt, and when the cracks close, you see a pattern - but you have no cracks. Others just cut the cracks with a knife. If we had the old nitro, we wouldn't need to pay so much money for fake ass relicing - just buy a new guitar and play it for a few years, don't put it in the case and let the sunshine come through the window... you don't need anything more.
Doug the fact you get such good results with what you have to use as a paint area amazing man

Yes, and the kids pay extra for the fake relicing. I have a stash of vintage nitro I use on special jobs.
