I bought the Double Rainbow Li last year and absolutely love it. It's a palace inside. 3 overnights in various times of year, no condensation. One night was a drenching rain and completely dry. I set it up on a Tyvek footprint to keep the thing protected and clean. Added 225 paracord snake knot toggles to all the zippers and a paracord clothesline inside that comes in handy.
Good to hear! I definitely entertained the idea of that shelter over the 1p, but it is a bit much for what I do. I have to say though, I haven't heard too many bad things to be said from those who do own the double rainbow li. Folks love it!
Was at RRG with my Rainbow Li 10/20-22. Did a free stand out on a point. Highly recommend. Couple suggestions. Ditch the tent bag on trail. Just fold it up and place it on top your dry bag. It is much easier. I go nyloflume, tent, food bag. Carry 1 stake with cordage to be able to lift the non staked door. The rainbow li is slightly worse for air flow and sleeping with the door open (unless massive storm) helps a lot. Little to no condensation. Even in rain I just porch one door. Never had an issue.
Thanks for the tips. This shelter really is a do it all kind of one in my opinion. The set up options are excellent. I was pretty surprised how easily it sets up when not in free standing mode too. I will need to try the stake tie out as you mentioned. I appreciate it.

I’ve seen those tarp tents. I really like them. Gotta love that Gorge life
I agree. They are one of my favorite shelter brands. They make good stuff for sure! I do love getting out to the Gorge!
Did the condensation line work?
