      For sure!!! If Lebron leaves they got a few key pieces to start a rebuild right away. I don't think this trade helps them that much on the short term, the cavs just added a bunch of dudes with no playoff experience.

      Indeed. These moves weren't about winning the East this season. This is about building a respectable team post LeBron.

      They should of kept wade...and then trade Brooklyn pick and tristain Calderon for deandre Jordan....Jordan LeBron wade love hood Clarkson hill nance Jr. Smith korver osman may not seem like much but that's a legit contender this season as sad as it sounds in the east...they could of won a title through luck ..all they had to do was pull the trigger on 1 more move..instead they don't and then innthe bonehead trade of the day trade wade for peanuts SMDH...really smith and tristain are so good with their combined 28 million and less than 15 points combined most nights on the road...SMDH...

      Crowder was supposed to be the guy to slow down Durant
      I.T was supposed to be Kyrie(the 4th quarter closer)
      Wade would provide big buckets as well.
      All taken off for role players.

    These guys in Cleveland are character folks. A cultural shift has taken place. They can stretch the floor with this lineup. Hood Clarkson, and Hill can create their own shots up to a certain level of competition. They can switch better defensively and compensate for Love when he returns. Team IQ got a little higher as well. Bron took a lesser squad deep into the finals 3 years ago when Love and Kyrie got injured. They'll compete now.

    Both lakers and Cavs equally won the trade . Cavs get younger Better players for basically bad players. On the other hand, Lakers clear hella space and now have enough for 2 max deals. They can give bron 35 max and throw 30 mill at pg. along with keeping kuzma ball hart Ingram , all the young pieces . Lakers will look nice next season

    • @RatchetHCO
      @RatchetHCO 6 років тому +5

      Risky though, cause LeBron won't go there by himself and PG13 looks more set on staying in OKC for a couple years. Maybe Cousins, but he's injured and a risk compared to PG for LeBron to give up his easy ride in the East.

      i agree i think the pick ups are nice. i dont agree that it gets them out of the east. It was touched on a little bit on this segment but love is out for another month or so still...they have to some how find rotations all over again with 4 new players...possibly 6 new players cause they have 2 roster spots open, and then change it again when love comes back. As a die hard lakers fan...im actually sad to see nance go. Im not the biggest clarkson fan, i feel he holds the ball too much. But nance man...i liked him. The cavs dont have anyone really outsode of lebron that can really CREATE their own shot....clarkson can at time...rodney hood is a good player, i like him alot but i havent watched enough of him to know or make an educated opinion. And george hill i dont think is that great of a player like he used to. But for the lakers im not holding my breath untill it actually happens. Ive learned my lesson for this whole "free agents are coming" thing. If it happens it happens...i just want to see us make a serious push for the playoffs. We play great team defense and i hope IT doesnt ruin that haha.

      J'Marcus Brooks they also got more versatile. And I’ll tell you something else, now that there aren’t any future HOFers (Wade) or guys trying to get the max (Isaiah), or former MVPs (Rose, Lue won’t feel any pressure to play guys for dumb reasons. Outside of Lebron and Love, he will probably use the players that benefit them depending on what they need. Need to run, throw in Hood, Hill and Nance. Need to defend, throw in Hill Thompson Smith and Green. Need shooting go with Hill Korver Smith Hood. And then Clarkson is a guy that can give you scoring in quick spurts.

    The Cavs didn't get better with their current situation moving the old players out. But they did get better for the future in my opinion. This team is not better than Toronto in my opinion, maybe better than the Celtics. But with that nets pick in the off season I do see LeBron staying another season just to see who they get in that pick and see how this team gels together next season. But coming out the east this season, no not seeing it

    Honestly, playoffs exp means a little. If a guy can ball, he can ball no matter the situation. Basketball is a team game though so yeah when a rookie plays great right away when he gets into the league, his team sucks so they fail in the playoffs. There are only a few like Russell, Kareem, Magic and maybe even Bird who were great immediately and also put into a great system, team, organization which can back them up

    These guys are underrating the trade! Clarkson, Nance, and Hood ALL have upside. I'm not saying they are gonna be perennial All Stars. But all three are 25 years and younger. They are also sleeping on K Love who is a 20-10 machine and can stretch the floor. Not saying they are ready to beat GS, BUT the Cavs got MUCH BETTER! The pieces fit better together. Some of them are REALLY underrating the scoring capabilities of Clarkson and Hood!

    I'm tired of hearing Chris Broussard say this Brooklyn pick can be 1st overall. I get it. They got Kyrie and Bennett through that position but you're asking to win the lottery for the third time in a decade. They are also making the same assumptions that they made during the original Kyrie trade. Hang on a sec. Didn't Broussard hands down said Cleveland won that Kyrie deal? Talking about IT dropping high 20s after getting his legs under him and how Crowder will be a great defender.

    So essentially the Cavs moved Irving and got Clarkson, Hood, Hill, and Nance. Would’ve loved to see what these guys would’ve said if this was the deal at the beginning of the season.
    Toronto humiliated the Cavs and were playing without their starting power forward and point guard. Toronto came back from a 40 point deficit against GSW and only lost by 2. The Celtics are a solid team. The Cavs are supposedly the best team??? LOL

  • @jdek88
    @jdek88 6 років тому +2

    All I can say is... If that Brooklyn pick is seated 8th, and it becomes #1 pick, NBA is officially rigged. Think about the odds of that. It's like a 1 in 1 million chance the Cavs get all those #1 picks when they are all slotted 8-9

    Question: Who here would trade Kyrie Irving for Clarkson, Hood Hill and Nance? To me, it looks a lot like they lost a superstar, got some okay pieces, but no enough to fill that void in a league where superstars win titles, and may have given away too much of their future. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
