Nice views of Beaufort and some of the Outer Banks towns. Morehead City looked nicer here. Than the ugly refineries that mar the coast; however, it is an overall nice area.

its majestic, and yes you can climb it. the vibe there is pretty unreal. walk over to the beachside as well. great beach. good surf and fishing.
