Lots of good tips here, I particularly like the tip for spraying vent cleaner into the the vents and running the A/C. I bought an old SUV from someone who loved to eat (and spill food) in it and their dog was a regular passenger. It took a lot of work to get it clean, I found dried cola and food in just about every crevice.
Plus, small tip: cleaning the seatbelt is also what will fix your belt when it's not rolling back up anymore. It is not because it became stiff, because of the dirt. Hot water and cleaning will fix that.

Quick Tip! If you have leaves or Debris(like acorns) vacuum or blow out the housing before putting in a new cabin air filter. Any acorns are just hard enough to ruin the blower motor causing a noise or in some cases a horrible vibration!
Many smelly problems in vehicles come down to mold or mildew growth somewhere within the car. During summer, when we rely on air-condition to help us survive the scorching heat, our cars are susceptible to growing molds. We usually have our windows closed during summer to have the cold air from the air-conditioner to circulate. That alone will make the mold thrive and survive inside our cars.
I remember that as a little girl the new car smell got me sick it made me very nauseous to this day it still does I don't like it thank you so much for sharing that information with us.
New Car Scent is my fave scented tree flavor. I’ve never had a new car. It’s the best fake smell of all the trees... not because I love new car smell subconsciously. 😄
I like that scent too but I don't actually think it really smells like a new car. BTW I just thought I would point out that if something is subconscious you are most likely not aware of it or was that a joke that went over my head?
I like these quick videos. Good, straight and to the point. I (personally) dislike the 17+ minute videos. I'm trying to watch this real quick, not watch a full episode... So, great job on this one!!!
Six years ago ,my family and I were driving around in our new VW SUV and in less than half an hour my 10 yrs old son started to feel nauseated and eventually puked on the floor. I knew that the gas out effect had a bit of effect on me but my son couldn't withstand it. So I agree that we must keep windows slightly open when driving a new car.

Great video. I was also starting with baking soda. Is there a product that you know of to clean seats with odorless foam? I have a car smelling strongly like laundry detergent from the previous owner and it's hard to get out. It's smells nice actually but it irritates me. If baking soda does not work what kind of product would you advice for that?
Last summer my friend spilled about 2 cups worth of milk on my backseat. We were heading to work and I had no choice but to let it sit for almost 10 hours. When I got home later that day I just unbolted the seat and saturated center seatbelt buckle. I did not have the proper tools or chemicals to tackle this problem and I needed the car for work the following day. Here it is 5 months later. The backseat has been aired out for all this time but I don’t have a clue as to what I should do to make the seat safe to put back in the car. It’s a bench style seat. A giant block of foam wrapped in black cloth. I know hiding underneath the cloth is some nasty looking foam. 😔

Awesome video, once again. Good to know I was already doing a good job. I don't get the baking soda part though? As for the mousse, I assume regular leather conditioner works too? I've just bought a 'new' car (1992 Caprice wagon) myself which I should receive in 2 weeks, can't wait to clean it ^^
