What is your opinion on the overall build quality especially the hinges?
ah cool. exactly the video I was hoping for. Have not had to purchase a new laptop in years. But now am looking for a budget one with acceptable quality for the lower price. Came across this one in WalMart electronics department area of my local store and was curious to know more. Only need one for general personal business, communications/emails, and UA-cam watching purposes. Am not a gamer although sometimes I download them out of curiosity and play them for a little bit.

First thank you on amazing performed review! I have a question. I am going to bring slow my seminars and classes I give on online.I am planing on starting to create UA-cam videos and ect. I am still not sure if the webcam would be good enough for this. I got it I can buy an extra camera. It is just extra weight if you flying a lot. My another issue is: I have some equipments and apps they are a little bit older. I can install them from the dvd only. I can not do it on my Lenovo chrombook. No one dvd player is working with this chromebook. Would I be able to find an DVD Player for this HP since it is very hard to find a laptop with DVD and CD Player

@@jeffjeff5266I don't use it for coding but I'm not aware of any special requirements that coding entails. My guess would be it's fine. When I'm coding I'm logged into work via LVDI and all my coding is done on the virtual session.

are there any Loud CPU fan Noise?
Nah not really. I've been using this for about 2 years now and it's still great. It has great boot time and everything. Fan noise is something I've never even thought of. It's never that loud unless you're stressing the processor (which is hard to do cause I play minecraft on fancy graphics and it's still good). So yeah its barely any fan noise, at least in my experience. Oh also it's decent for a little editing

Maybe I have a different model, but I own this laptop and the RAM is user upgradable. I changed mine from 8gb to 16gb in about 5 minutes. Remember to remove the screws from under the rubber on the bottom to remove the cover.

yes......if you want to do photoshop on a fast and smooth running laptop that will last long...you need to ensure these 3 things ....(FIRST) the core processor is at least an i5, i7, or i9 (not a i3, amd, celeron, atom, pentium or some other) ...(SECOND) the ram needs to be 8 and above (THIRD) the storage should be in SSD not HDD ..least should be 128 and above.....thats 3things you need to ensure....which this laptop the 11th gen i5-1135G7 def is PERFECT.... ssd 256gb ..processor i5....8gb ram

Lenovo laptops tends to have problems that come much later after purchase. ( or is it just a stereotype)

When i setup windows 10 the laptop can't read hard disck
It can't read hard disck when i use flash memory to setup windows 10
But it can read hard disk when i didn't use flash memory

Never had a issue with 8gb but I upgraded to 16gb, and the laptop has been clocked using around 12gb in certain task. Although, I haven't noticed any noticable difference.
