That was awesome seeing you do the Nascar racing experience! I work for them at Dover Motor Speedway during the summer. They're definitely chipped at 4800 or 5000 rpm, but can be bumped up higher if you buy the package to stay on the track longer.
Always wanted to go there...but 400hp and 4800 Ill save my $. Bet its fun working there

Love this Galaxie. Smaller diameter wheels/tires would have been aesthetically more pleasing but overall...am amazing build. Kudos to Chris and his crew.

My 84 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme brougham that car was the same way it had perfect grilles that were factory to the car pulling it home i was coming up to the highway and the right side grille flew out going across the highway and bounced off the passenger side mirror and landed in the middle of the highway with semi trucks pulling oversized wide load prefab house half's both ways....ughh and the minute I got it running decided to drive it to the small community I live near to grab a can of mt dew, and the Dr side grille flew out and the car ran it over ....so then it got 86 cutlass supreme salon egg crate grilles which are absolutely the wrong ones for the 84 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme brougham,, and they were wired in with mechanic wire, and industrial strength zip ties but I still wish I had the original grilles and 4 years later my brother totalled the front end of the cutlass...

Ya I see how you['d be taken a bit by the over the top Video Game builder's (holy bad paint scheme there Batman btw)... but anyway... the way you kept the white Galaxy build more old school cool by repairing parts of the frame and painting it with the rust proof, the shock bar you build then boxed in, your method of tubbing the rear wheels.... all that is way cooler than Buddy's hotwheels with the tube frame [very Nascar for sure]. Your Red Galaxie is more like that in the end. You can do your own frame with box tube steel and with the right plan and all the right parts [including a roll cage]. If you do go roll cage... make it so you have the cage hinged so you can get your big ol legs in then shut the cage and latch it.... Sure all the Nascar wanabe's and Sema junkies would still approve. All I'm saying is, what this guy did isn't so new. He set out a plan and included the Kindig maxim of tucked bumpers and next to invisible door handles... maybe use body scoops to keep things a little cooler [not sure how well that will work but... okay] lol This guy's paint scheme though.... so BAD lol Keep it CRAIG man! You've grown your ideas and they are unique to YOU!! Stick up for your ideas and everybody else will as well... because that is the admirable thing to do! ;-)

I got excited until I realized it’s a splitter on a Galaxy. Wood Bros be like, our Galaxy’s ran upside down in a tunnel and looked stock! Where is the defuser or belly pan!
Not a fan of the splitter....it just seems to ricey and dont fit the car. But its a custom so...
But Craig........you ARE getting good mileage.........with 4.56 gears and Honky Pete tires.
